The Jogging Nun and more ...! - At the mansion, Stefano informs EJ that ending Sami and Rafe's marriage is the number one priority. EJ, however, refuses to postpone asking Nicole for a divorce. The phoenix reminds him he could lose his advantage over Sami with the children if he is without Nicole. EJ declares he will marry Taylor, whom he loves. Stefano sighs. EJ insists he is marrying Tay and will not be stopped! Stefano exclaims he did not find the perfect replica so his son could throw it all away on a bookkeeper. EJ stubbornly states he can have it all with the woman he loves. Stefano snaps if he does this to Nicole, he will suffer for it for the rest of his life! EJ argues that Nicole will still have access to the children. Stefano wishes he would not be led by his zipper. Furthermore, Taylor is cut from the same mould as her sister! Ring ring! Tis Marco, with news from the hospital that Troy seems to be waking up. EJ wants that taken care of. Stefano makes a snide remark about his reputation if Taylor finds out. EJ coldly assures him that he will take care of Nicole. Stefano chuckles knowingly, wishes him luck, and departs. - At the Cheatin Heart, Nicole summons bartender Dario, to pay her bill. Tay wants to know what she meant about something freaking her out. Nicole whispers not here and they walk out together. - Outside the bar, Brady is ready to take Mel in but gets delayed when his phone rings. Mel walks into the establishment alone and bartender Dario eagerly approaches. Something to drink? He wonders if she is alone. When he sees Brady entering, he drawls he gets the picture, and walks away. Mel goes to talk to Dario as Brady is still on his phone. He asks how she is. She states she is fine from her ordeal. He gets back to the bar. Melanie walks up to him and points out they would not have come if they had known he was working there. He sarcastically wonders if he looks like he cares. She thinks he does! He claims all she is to him is a rich girl who helped him find the killer of his sister. Mel realizes she was wasting her time and steps away. Brady steps up and wonders what was going on between him and Mel. Nothing. Dario asks what he can get him. Brady enjoys a drink and is not sure it was a good idea to bring Mel out. Maybe it was too soon. Brady now thanks Dario for getting Ari’s killer and helping Mel. If there is anything he can do ... Dario states he will go his way and he can go his. Mel joins them and tells him to stop running his mouth and just listen. Brady wants to help him! They start to leave, but before they do, Dario apologizes. - Tay follows Nicole to the pier and presses, eager to learn what she wanted to tell her. Nicole flashes back to seeing her sister and husband kiss, then turns to her waiting sister. She is ready to tell her about EJ. Nicole explains she now understands that EJ will never love anyone! He is not capable of it. She found out that he does one thing, then says another, and she cannot live with it. Tay asks what she is going to do. Nicole quips she cannot discuss this anymore and walks off. Taylor considers. - At the loft, replay of Sami asking Rafe 2 if he bedded a sl*t in their home. He pretends to be troubled she overheard him. "Then ya already know." He went crazy after she left, hence the indiscretion. Sami bitterly states the Rafe Hernandez she knew would never have done such a thing. She turns around. He is not Rafe! Rafe 2 reaches for a kitchen knife and asks who she thinks he is. He stops when she starts to criticize the person he became after the accident. She laments the man she loved is gone and she has never felt so alone. She trusted him. He exclaims he just made a mistake. Sami yells that is more than a mistake, that is unforgivable! He quips it meant nothing, as he did not know the one night stand. Matter of fact, she picked him up. Sami calls him a pig. He reminds her she wanted the time-out. How does he know that she didn't do the same thing? She screams she is many things but not an adulterer. She remembers all too well what happened to Marlena and John and how it affected her life. He has crossed a line! She feels dead inside. He smirks he can make her feel alive again. She snaps he makes her sick. He grins he never made her sick before. She fills him in that his memory is not the only thing he lost in the hospital, and admits she has been faking it! He insists she say that was a lie, his eyes dark and demented. He warns her to take it back. She leers she faked it every time and had to pretend he was the old Rafe. He sneers she is such a HO that her twins have two different fathers and she slept with EJ, whom she hated. He also accuses her of using him to keep Syd a secret. Sami exclaims he wanted to help her from day one, which is why she fought so hard. He believed in her. He snickers that was pretty stupid. She shot EJ in the head so he should get out why he still can. He taunts she has not changed and is still a b*tch. Sami raises her hand to hit him. He grabs her arm. Sami laments they could have been amazing, yet now she is disgusted by him. Rafe 2 gets himself a beer and taunts that all she touches turns to cr*p. Sami wants him out now.She does not wish to see him ever again! He feels the same way, but wants his dirty clothes washed first. Sami decides she will leave and when she comes back, he and every beer bottle trace of him must be gone! She hastily stuffs her keys and other items in her bag and storms out. "Checkmate," grins the imposter. - Nicole enters the pub, looking for a drink, and comes across Sydney. She is back! Nicole picks her up and hugs her tight. She is with maid Mary, eating ice cream. Nicole decides she will never let her go, then heads off to take care of a certain matter. - At the Cheatin Heart, Mel returns as she left her jacket. She impulsively kisses Dario. He blinks back to reality, holding her jacket, and decides he has enough trouble in his life as it is. Meanwhile, Mel and Brady sit at the pier. He places his arm protectively around her and she tells him she only feels safe with him. She rests her head on his shoulder. - Real Rafe is dreaming in some nice sheets about the key he just could not bear to lose before passing out at the ravine. He opens his eyes and tries to move in the large bed. There are pretty drapes on a window and he wonders what happened. He clutches his side and watches, with blurred vision, as a nun appears before him. "Ah, man, what now?" He assumes she is not a real nun, but she introduces herself as Sister Rose, who found him while she was jogging. She is worried he might have pneumonia, but he gasps no doctors. The sister senses he is in trouble. He realizes she is not connected to those who were holding him and tells her his tale. The first memory he has is that he woke up in a locked cell. No one would tell him anything. Now, however, he is in no shape to run from his captors. Sister Rose decides he will stay there, where he will be safe. He is not sure that is a good idea. Sister Rose knows he is not a bad person. He mentions contrition and she smiles he is a catholic. In the morning, they will think about what to do. Until then, he needs his rest. She will pray for him to get the answers he seeks. He emotionally thanks her for her kindness. Exit Sister Rose. Rafe feebly takes the chain and key off his night table and hopes God will tell her what it means. - Tay goes back to the mansion, and calmly informs EJ that Nicole said their marriage is in trouble. EJ is curious about what she said. Tay replies she confided he does not love her and could not love anyone. EJ insists this must be because she realizes the marriage is over. He thinks this is a positive development. Taylor smiles. She then looks a tad dismal. Until Nicole tells him these things, they should not be seen together. EJ replies he will wait for her and intends to let Nicole know they are through today. He is sure she regrets ending it with Brady anyway. This will be best for all parties. Enter Nicole. Taylor excuses herself. EJ explains she knows he wants to talk to Nicole. Her sister is worried about her. Nicole asks what she said. That she is not happy. He adds if that is how she feels, there is but one thing to do, like to get a divorce. Nicole bitterly laughs. - Sami enters the pub. Caroline lets her know maid Mary is upstairs with the kids. She thought she wanted time with Rafe to work things out. Sami cries they are over. Caroline hugs her. - At the loft, Stefano calls Rafe 2 with a message. Finish things between Rafe and Samantha and get out of town! The imposter boasts he already ended things for the lovebirds. - Back at the pub, Caroline calls Rafe an idiot. Sami toys with her key and flashes back to the time in the safe house she called him a good guy. Special times. Back to reality. She laments she just could not fix things. "You're gone, Rafe ..." - In the convent, Rafe holds the safe house key to his heart and looks up at the large cross facing his bed. "I’ve been somewhere like this," he suddenly whispers ... Next on Days of Our Lives Wednesday Preview 1 "EJ's asking Nicole for a divorce as we speak!" Tay informs Lexie. Wednesday Preview 2 "You are a son of a son of a b*tch!"
