| Friday, May 13, 2011 up by 5:15 pm est May 12 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THE WAY WE WERE - At the hospital Carly's hands are shaking so badly she cannot properly hold a pen. She is desperate for meds but glances at the shelf nearby and reminds herself it is over. Jen approaches and teases that it is taking her long to sign her name. She just came from a meeting with Lexie. There will be due diligence for the safeguards, so no more meds will be stolen! Carly wonders if Lexie knows who the thief was. No but Jen thinks she does. That is, she will. If she goes through shift schedules and checks them against the times the meds went missing, she will be able to put it together. Besides, the culprit, who likely works there, needs help. She is mad someone would harm the hospital's good name. Carly states they must be in a lot of trouble. More than they realize, says Jen! She now talks coffee. Carly pretends to be busy. Jen excuses herself. - Hope joins busy Commissioner Bo in his office. He is wading through paperwork and has missed lunch and dinner. Hope is surprised to see the messy paperwork from Rafe. Looks like he didn't know what he was doing. However, at least he was still good enough to find Theo and Ciara. Bo gets tense. Hope wonders what really went down. Bo explains he was indeed with the kids when he found them, but he is not really the same. Theo reacted to him negatively and Ciara complained he is only nice to kids when there are adults around. Just as well he is gone now anyway. Hope points out poor Sami is all alone. - Mel enters the Cheatin Heart and places an order to go. Wings. Dario asks Adrienne for the night off, as his brother is leaving town. Adrienne agrees and asks him to take Mel's order. When she steps away, Mel perks up and asks Dario where he will be going! Adrienne comes back and offers Dario her old apartment to sublet. He excitedly accepts and gets the keys. He wonders if Mel has a problem with his being her new neighbor. Of course not. He thinks she always has a problem with him and looked sour when she heard the news. Mel denies it. She was just concerned about how he could move without a car. She offers to help him and happily gets her bag of food. The walk off together as Dario sighs she talks a lot. Adrienne starts to call Justin, who comes up to the bar grinning. She explains she has to stay a while, as a bartender had to get off early. Justin saw his long face. Despite Dario’s moody demeanor, she suspects he is thrilled. Bo and Hope soon enter and Hope is so happy for the newlyweds! When she has a moment alone with old pal Justin, she laments she might have led him on when she was not quite herself. It was not deliberate. He points out they were both unclear on what they wanted back then. A tad lost, but now they have found their way back to where they belong, with the people they were meant to be with. Hope wistfully wants them to go back to being really good friends. He murmurs they never stopped being friends and never will ... - Stefano is smugly drinking at the mansion and informs wife Kate that Samantha is leaving the kids with them a while longer. She is a mess, since Rafael left. Kate purrs it is almost as if he planned it. He jokes he could never have planned such a thing, but is relieved nonetheless. Kate is pleased that Sami is miserable. They toast to it. - At the safe house, Sami takes Rafe's hands and smiles she is never letting him go again. He is the best thing that ever happened to her. She loves him and assures him he will remember her. She longs for him to feel their connection. Nothing as of yet. Sami praises him for his honesty. He murmurs he wants to remember as he feels he lost some wonderful memories. He looks around this place where they fell in love. "I want my life back." Sami whispers she is a part of it. He agrees and they get closer and closer ... All of a sudden, the imposter wakes up in the other room and bangs on the wall. Rafe goes to have a look and laments his injury looks infected. Without help, he could die. "Let him!" snaps Sami. She soon realizes that would not be wise and offers to get the medical kit. She flashes back to using it once upon a time to heal Rafe. Her whole life changed at that place, and yet he does not remember it. After the imposter has been patched up, they find themselves alone again. Rafe drawls it is strange to hate someone who looks like you. Sami praises him for being calm. He appears to have a headache. She insists they will get his memory back. She now realizes he is burning up. He refuses to go to a hospital and explains his fever broke before. It will go away again. He asks to see pictures of her kids. She shows them. He admires them all and smiles. She now shows a picture of Grace. He was the only father she knew and she passed away. He got her through it. Rafe deduces Sami must remember Grace every day. He wishes he could. - At the pub, Chad sits down with Abby and gives them each a coke. They are studying together. He mentions Stefano's incredible library, which is full of books. Abby gets tense. He drawls he is sorry he said his father's name. So is she! She reminds him of what he has done to people. He reminds her that her own father blogs about raindrops and roses. He then apologizes. Chad adds that he has a father who takes cares of him, whereas she does not. The mood gets light again. He has fries, but she is worried about calories. Ring ring! She does not want him to take the call, then changes her mind. Tis Stefano. He needs advice from his son and asks him to come home. Once Abby is alone, Jennifer joins her. Abby complains of the fights she keeps having with Chad. She cannot forget what Stefano did to their family. Chad, however, thinks he is better off having Stefano as a father, as opposed to her and her absentee father. Jen tries to make her see she is being unfair, as the subject of fathers is sensitive for her. Abby complains his father called and then he was gone. Abby also needs some pain relief so Jen whips out an empty bottle of Midol. Abby will get some at the pharmacy on her way home. They hug. She thinks her mother is the best. - Carly is in her room alone when she has a vision of dead Lawrence, calling her Fraulein Von Leuschner and laughing madly. She snaps he is dead as she killed him! He taunts her for her need for pills. She screams at him to shut up. He drawls she is strung out. How soon before she cannot go without pills for an entire rotation! Maybe he can help. She cries no. He reminds her she has no one left to call and he cannot help her cos she killed him! Lawrence leers there is not a pill in sight and the room is closing in. He smugly informs "pumpkin" he has become rather redundant, as she now makes herself miserable all by herself. He taunts her to have fun going down the drain and reminds her he will be waiting on the other side! Carly blinks and he is gone. Tears streaming down her face, she proceeds to call in a prescription for a "patient." - At the mansion, Stefano is pleased to see Chad his newest lad. He just found out that Rafael is gone and Samantha is useless, so she is leaving Giovanni and Sydney with them. He does not want little Giovanni to feel abandoned by Rafael and asks Chad what he thinks would be best for the boy. Chad thinks it would be best to keep the kids at home, with things as normal as possible. Stefano is impressed with his insight. Insightful Chad knows it and suggests Stefano also used Johnny to get him back home. Diva Kate soon arrives on scene and Chad saunters out. Kate sits on the lap of the phoenix and he purrs things have turned out better than he expected. She kisses him lovingly. - Mel and Dario are carrying a couch in the hall of his new apartment building. She drops it and he gets hurt. She offers to help him with his foot. He turns her down. She says he is damn stubborn. He retorts she is so damn ... She wonders what, then decides she should go so she does not mess things up anymore. He reminds her not to forget her wings and hands her the bag. Mel enters her apartment and mulls over what happened. Meanwhile, Dario wonders what will happen next ... - Carly shows up at the drugstore for two prescriptions for "Katerina Von Leuschner." Abby arrives and calls her Dr. Manning. Carly signs for the prescriptions using her old name and hastily excuses herself. Abby cannot help but notice she is acting strangely. - At the safe house, Rafe thinks losing Grace must have been hard for Sami. She dabs at his perspiring face with a towel and he suddenly flashes back to her sponging him down at that very place. "I remember!" he grins, raising his eyebrows ... Next on Days of Our Lives "Kate's going to pay for what she did to me!" Vivian solemnly tells Gus. Sami smacks faux Rafe so hard that his head almost falls off! "I know all about you!" says Kinsey. Chloe turns around, looking guilty. |
