She is relieved to see Bo as he enters, but he is clutching a bloody wound and collapses. T'was a daydream. She asks God to keep Bo safe. She later updates Leo, who thinks the warden is a force to be reckoned with. Hope confides she has someone who may be able to help save Bo ... - Meanwhile, the warden has a call from dirty cop Bird and laments Bo escaped. Bird states he will do him. The warden sighs they must find him first, but Bo is watching the warden, unseen! The warden tells Bird not to call it in cos the prisoner might survive being captured. When she ends the call, Bo sneaks up behind her and grabs her in a chokehold. He threatens to break her neck unless she tells him all! - Maggie meets Victor at the mansion and is surprised to hear their date will be right there! She assumes he wants to have his way with her and starts to leave in a huff.He stops her and changes their dinner to a brunch. But if it goes well, they will graduate to dinner at a restaurant. Maggie blushes. All of a sudden, enter Brady and Vivian, who has leaves in her hair. "Well well well, if it isn't my husband with the widow Horton! Quelle surprise!" she declares, oozing sarcasm with every word. Maggie smiles and tells her she is looking good. Viv implies the redhead does not! Victor wonders if Maggie still thinks he is a better person. Indeed. She excuses herself. They will touch base later. Victor snaps at Viv. Brady gives them their privacy. Vic was hoping the island had changed Madame Viv. She assures him it did, in ways he could not imagine! She had time to think and realized she was wasting her best years trying to convince him they belonged together. She is filet mignon, not chipped beef. Furthermore, she is filing for divorce! The Greek tycoon glances around the room and wonders where the camera is. He is suspicious. Viv claims he got boring and she is moving onto greener pastures. She waddles out, clutching the blanket around her. Victor suddenly jumps up with glee. "HOPA!" - Brady secretly calls someone and quietly checks whether they have received those documents from him yet ... Brady later returns to Victor, who is drinking to celebrate the end of Viv. Victor hopes Brady had her sign the papers relinquishing control of Titan. Brady grins he did. And he is setting up international meetings with stockholders to assure them Vivian never had the company and it is theirs. Victor toasts to freedom. The Greek tycoon leaves to call Justin in order to get his divorce rolling and praises Brady for being a chip off the old block. Once alone, Brady drawls "More than you know, old man. More than you know." - Rafe plays with Johnny in his hospital room and Johnny hopes he can spend the night too, not just mommy. Rafe asks Dan what he thinks. He thinks it sounds fine and assures them Johnny will be going home soon. Johnny is excited about being home with Rafe and Sami. Rafe still seems to have his doubts about EJ, but Dan declares what is best for Johnny is all that matters. Rafe soon fills him in on EJ's supposed change and deal with God. Then again, the lawyer did say the agreement he has drawn up is generous. Rafe now gets concerned about Stefano. He does not want anything to harm those kids. Dan listens, his eyes filled with guilt as Rafe passionately says he feels as though they are his own. - Jennifer flashes back to what Hope told her about Ben in the middle of their conversation, and returns to reality when Ben notices she is rather preoccupied. She is! About her cousin Hope and Bo, as they have a daughter who needs them. Ben gets a call but suggests that they talk over coffee afterwards. Jen eagerly agrees. He steps away to take the call. Jen's eyes appear to focus on the file Ben has left on the counter. Dan walks in the room and Jennifer nervously says hello. Disheartened Dan gets himself a coffee. Ben finishes his call and invites him to join them for coffee. Dan is apprehensive but Jen insists. - Nicole comes down the stairs at DiMera mansion and EJ has something to ask of her that she might not like! He would like her to pick Sydney up from Samantha at the hospital, and she might not be happy to run into her. Nicole doesn't mind, though she senses he is just trying to stick it to Sami. He drawls he is merely asking a favor. Nicole points out he could ask Harold or Mary. There is no guarantee Sami will even let her have Sydney. She suspects EJ enjoys their mud wrestling style run-ins. EJ explains he has a meeting with fatha. Nicole agrees to go and adds she got Johnny a book. EJ calls that sweet. He pulls her arm as she starts to walk out and thanks her. She looks up at him and emotionally thanks him. "When you gave Sydney back to me, you gave me back my life." Elsewhere, Stefano speaks with Marco about the project in the basement. The renovations are going well and the workmen are using a separate entrance. The phoenix brings up their unexpected visitor hearing noises. Marco explains it is difficult to do such extravagant basement renovations without a sound heard on the main floor. The phoenix dramatically insists all must be perfect, to get Rafe Hernandez out of their lives. - Chad is at Java Cafe, where he was unable to get his old job back. He needs work and soon runs into Gabi. She is sorry his father turned his back on him. But he is not alone. Chad frowns when she mentions the DiMeras. He will do what his mother wanted and stay away from those people. He intends to respect her wishes. Gabi implores him to listen. His mother did not know he would be all alone, that she would be gone. Chad admits he still feels guilty about her death and gets chocked up. He thanks Gabi for the talk and takes off. - Nicole shows up at Johnny's room, there to pick up Syd. Rafe drawls she made the trip for nothing, as Johnny sleeps. Moments later, Nic calls EJ to inform him Sami took Ally and Syd skating. Should she find out where the skating rink is so he can send his goons? Negative. He thinks it is a nice idea for Ally and Sydney to spend time together and will call Sami later. After the call, Nicole wonders where Elvis went! She goes to Rafe to tell him EJ is allowing Sami be with Sydney a while longer. Rafe finds that odd. Nicole explains he had a meeting. Rafe notes it must have been a very important meeting for him to send the likes of her instead of coming himself ... - At the Brady pub, Dan, Jen, and Ben sit down for coffee. Ben gets another call and steps away. Jen is glad Dan joined them and says so. Carly is one of her oldest friends and she had no idea they had a child together. Neither did he! Jen suggests Carly needs him. Dan drawls it is good she is so nice about being pushy. - Back at DiMera mansion, Stefano is surprised by EJ's generosity toward Sami all of a sudden. EJ states it is his new approach so that Samantha will let her guard down, forgive and forget. He wants to know when the plan will be ready."In a matter of days and then Samantha and Rafael will never know what hit them!" announces papa phoenix. EJ drinks to that. - EJ later heads to Johnny's hospital room, where he finds his only son excitedly playing Paddycake with Nicole. His eyes soften. Nicole soon walks out and tells him that Rafe is sulking. He was suspicious about her being in the picture but she did not tell him about the wedding. He can do that! She suggests EJ go spend time with his son. EJ thanks her, kisses her on the cheek, and joins Johnny. Rafe also returns, with a chocolate drink for his little buddy, and Johnny is thrilled. EJ steps aside and forces a smile. - Bo drags the warden to the door and opens it. There stands big bad cop Bird and he looks not lean, but certainly very mean! - Back at the boat, Leo tells Hope the virus form the warden is a bear. She mentions Dr. Ben Walters and the hospital involvement. However, she has someone on the inside. Leo states the computer is all but toast unless she has an expert look at it. Hope realizes Jen is the only chance they have of getting back Bo. She is counting on her ... - Back at the pub, Dan remarks Ben likes Jen and she seems to like him too. Docs are trained to be observant, he explains. Wide-eyed Jen asks what kind of person he thinks Ben is. Dan considers him a good doctor, but does not know him personally. Should he check around? Jen replies no and insists she is married. In addition, she has a lot on her plate as her friend needs her help to get her out of a mess, but she will have to use people to help her friend and others. Dan is intrigued. He realizes Jen has an ethical question. He grins it reminds him of how he sometimes sucks up to people of the hospital bureaucracy to help his patients. The end justifies the means. "Go for it!" Jen stares at him. Ben later tells Jennifer he is sorry but he must depart. A patient awaits a heart transplant. Jen is glad they are friends and hugs him, then proceeds to pull the keys from his coat pocket ... - Vivian pays Maggie a visit to share her news - she is divorcing Victor. She thanks her for getting her off the island. Maggie pretends not to care. Viv waltzes in and smiles she knows she is lying, just like everyone else in Salem. In fact, she is the biggest liar of all! She had claimed she was not involved with Victor as he was a married man, not to mention his most questionable character. Now, however, he is free. Vivian declares the redhead could become the next Kiriakis wife. Maggie blanches. - Back at the holding room, Bird has gotten Bo tied back up and it wasn't easy. He smacks him on the head. The warden decides they will kill him tonight. She taunts the commiss to enjoy his last few hours on earth, and walks out with big bad Bird ... - Back at DiMera mansion, Marco assures boss Stefano he is clear on the details. Hernandez will wish he never messed with them! Nicole enters. Once Marco is gone, she makes a snide remark about things going on at the mansion, then decides she would be better off not knowing. Stefano chuckles and welcomes her back to the family. "Perhaps the second time around will be a charm." Nicole coyly smiles it will be! - Back at the hospital, EJ brings up the new custody agreement they will have to sign. Perhaps they should all meet at the courthouse. Rafe agrees and offers to leave so he can spend time with his son. Johnny, however, wants more chocolate milk. EJ pretends not to mind, so Rafe obliges and lets him drink up. EJ steps out alone in the hall and growls he can enjoy his time with his son, "Cos you're not going to be around much longer, Rafe ...!" Next on Days of Our Lives "I just think you should probably get the hell out of here before he comes home and kicks you out!" Mel pleasantly warns Kate. Chloe looks up from her table at Phil. "You are just as bad as your mother!" Rafe by her side, Sami glares at Nicole from across the table. "I don’t want her anywhere near my children!" |
