Gus informs her there are leaves in her hair. Madame orders him to get the wine so they can at least try and celebrate. He gets it out of the crate. They are down to the last few drops. He wants to share. She gets aggressive and yells at him to give her the bottle! They struggle and the bottle falls, the few remaining drops lost in the sand. Viv cries she just wants to go home. All of a sudden, a helicopter is heard approaching. "Madame, you might just get your wish," states Gus. The ladder is dropped and they see it is none other than Brady Black. Viv fears the worst! Brady jumps down in his jeans. "Hi folks!" Viv suspects he wants to finish them off. Nope, he has papers, though, which she must sign in order to go home. He hands her the papers and a pen ... - Chez Maggie, Mel admits she feels nauseous after eating the eggs. The redhead offers tea. Mel looks green. She tells Maggie she informed Nath she was pregnant, though she did not give him a chance to respond. Maggie consoles her with a hug. Mel suddenly runs off, feeling unwell again. Knock knock knock! Tis Victor, gleefully grinning he did not wish to waste any of the beautiful day. Maggie wants to know if he considered her offer. He did indeed! She lets him in. Maggie is surprised to hear he has accepted her terms. "Vivian will be rescued and then we will trip the light fantastic!" The redhead blushes. She does not want to go dancing. Victor was in jest. When Mel enters, Vic reassures her that his precious grandchild she is carrying will never want for anything. "Except a family," says Mel. The Greek tycoon assures her that Phillip is ready to be a father. She doubts it. Victor promises his full support of Mel, whatever she decides about Phil, tells Maggie he will be in touch, and exits. Maggie admits to Mel that it hurt her feelings when she said the baby would not have a family. Mel replies she just said that to Victor and declares she will be the best surrogate grandma ever. They laugh and hug. "Who needs biology!" - At the hospital, Chloe tries to comfort crying Parker. Along comes Dr. Dan, who notes he is upset. "Why wouldn't he be!" snaps Chloe. He had shots, but that is not the problem. He misses his home and his daddy. Dan gets uncomfortable and wants to give her Parker's stuffed bunny, which she left at the apartment. Chloe cries he does not want to give it to the baby himself. She does not understand why he is doing this. They are all miserable. Dr. Ben interrupts to consult with Dan on a patient's case. Dan heads off with him. - Phil is at DiMera mansion to see Kate, and laments Melanie no longer wishes to see him. He wonders if Kate has any regrets about keeping Bill's paternity off Lucas' birth certificate. Every day! She wishes she could take back depriving Lucas and Bill of the chance to know each other from the start. She hopes her son will learn from her mistakes. Phil explains Chloe is in denial about Daniel, but then defends her when Kate speaks of her meanly. Kate advises him to get rid of her for Parker's sake. Phil angrily disagrees and insists Parker needs his mother. Kate calls her a slut and calls Phil a woos. She warns her son not to be taken in by the likes of Chloe. - At the pub, Carly and Jen are sitting at a table. Carly is considering where to move, given how she is persona non grata in town. Jen insists she should stay in Salem. She and Bo can be friends. She knows that Bo would not want her to leave, as it would make him feel guilty. Carly disagrees with the idea. Jen now reminds her of Mel, who needs her. Carly realizes she should stay for her daughter and thanks Jen. Jennifer repeats she is needed in Salem. Carly now shares the fact that Bo recently contacted her. Jen wishes she had told her sooner. Why? Jen is flippant. Carly senses something. - Prisoner Bo is bloodied and bruised, but still will not talk. Warden Jane calls Stefano and requests permission to kill him. He advises her to spare him of the details and do whatever she has to do quickly. The warden deduces that is a YES and proceeds to taunt Bo, who has regained consciousness. She leers this will be his very last day on earth! She soon gets a call from her goon and gets mad he is not coming, as his car broke down. She now faces Bo and leers this could be an opportunity. She will be back in a while. She has not had target practice lately but laughs he would be hard to miss! Exit the wacko warden. Bo quietly loosens the rope around his wrists and frees himself! He tries to open the door and curses that it is locked. Meanwhile, the warden excitedly calls Dr. Ben with the news that she will have some organs for him very soon ... - Back at DiMera mansion, Phil appears disgusted by what Kate has said about Chloe. Stefano enters and congratulates father Phil, who decides to leave. He stops and wonders what that pounding sound is. The phoenix gets tense. Kate explains they are redecorating. Once Phil is gone, Stefano exclaims he has big problems and pours himself a good stiff drink. Kate asks what is the matter. Does it concern Chad? The phoenix would rather not discuss. Time to look forward. Kate tries to get him to open up. No luck. The phoenix remains distracted as she departs. Once alone, he makes a call. "Elvis, you need to come home now!" - Hope wakes up Nath in bed and advises him not to scream. She used the spare key to get in there. He gasps what is going on. Hope tells him of the women being murdered in the infirmary and wonders why he is acting surprised. She assumes he is involved in the mess and demands to know how that happened. He is baffled. She reminds him he did answer the direct line, but he points out it was not his phone. Another doc had his by mistake. Hope hugs him and she is relieved. She remains worried about Bo and wants the doctor's name. Ben Walters. Nath, however, finds it difficult to believe he would be involved in such a thing However, he is getting close to someone they care about ... Hope later hands Nath some instructions to follow. Bo's life depends on his following them to the letter ... - Nath rushes into the pub and announces to Jennifer that they must talk about something important. Carly excuses herself. Nath solemnly gives Jen the written message from Hope. - Hope anxiously awaits on the boat. Enter Jennifer. They hug. Hope declares she is concerned, as Bo was looking for information and went missing. She needs her help and she might not like the sound of it! Jen is later stunned to hear that Ben is involved in the crime ring. She agrees to help bring Bo back home. She now presents Hope with a drawing and Christmas gift from Ciara - a necklace. Hope puts it on and tearfully admires the drawing of a happily family. - Nathan shows up at Maggie's place. The redhead excuses herself so he and Mel can talk. Mel does not want small talk so he comes to the point. She slammed the door before she gave him a chance to respond to her news. He takes her hands in his, and swears he loves and wants to be with her. And this baby is part of her. Mel appears moved ... - Carly comes by Dan's apartment, hoping to discuss Mel's pregnancy with him. Knock knock! Tis Chloe, there to thank him for giving Parker his bunny. She now realizes he has company. "What's she doing here?" Dan drawls it is not really her concern. She tells him Parker is feeling better now and gives Carly a look before tormented Dan closes the door. - Maggie goes to see Victor at the mansion, wearing her pretty coat. Before they consummate their deal, she needs to see proof that he saved Vivian, given that he has no regard for the law or the feelings of others. He is amused by her cynicism. He walks to his computer and shows her live feed of operation airlift as Viv clumsily climbs the ladder to the helicopter. The redhead announces she will be ready for dinner at Chez Rouge at seven. Vic roguishly drawls she should leave the arrangements to him ... - Mel and Nath get closer and closer, until she pulls away. She thanks him for the sweetness. However, all she can think about right now is the baby and trying not to be sick. She wants to be alone and thus asks him to go. "If that's what you want," he woefully agrees, and walks out, hanging his head. Inside, Mel sits down and fights back the tears. - At the pub, Chloe cannot stop Parker from crying and laments people are giving her nasty looks. Phil saunters in and smiles at the baby boy. He gives him his finger and teases he has a grip. Parker stops crying. Chloe thanks him. Phil was glad to run into her. He has been thinking. He wants the baby's name changed, as Parker is the name of Daniel's mother. Chloe snaps Parker Daniel Jonas is a perfect name she will not ever change and hastily departs with the baby, leaving Phil alone. He blinks ... - At the hospital, suited Ben runs into friendly Jennifer. She informs him she just couldn't stay away. She claims she has a special interest in his working at the prison infirmary, as her cousin is Hope Brady, the escaped prisoner. She hopes he will be able to tell her if he hears any news. He promises he will keep his ears open. Matter of fact, he just heard from the warden he will be needed tomorrow. He holds up the keys. Jen slyly smiles it is a relief that he will be able to help ... - Hope stares at Ciara's drawing and prays that Jennifer will be able to keep Bo safe ... - Meanwhile the wicked warden returns to Bo's holding room with a gun in her pocket. The chair is empty and there is no sign of the prisoner. "Damn it! Where the hell did he go ...!" Next on Days of Our Lives "Samantha and Rafael will never know what hit them!" Stefano smugly tells Elvis. Viv faces Victor. "I'm filing for divorce! " Bo tightens his grip around the warden's throat and growls "Tell me what you've been up to. I want the truth!" |
