SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE! - Bo drawls the serum was gooood stuff and laughs wildly like he is high at a 1970s rock concert. The warden is mad he still refuses to divulge Hope's location. He chuckles her sick little plan will not work and he will never tell her where Hope is. The wicked warden apparently roughs him up and Bo spits out some blood, casually agreeing to enlighten her. - Meanwhile, Hope is hard at work at the computer. She got a virus and realizes it is a targeted attack. "They're onto us!" she gasps as footsteps come down the stairs. Tis Leo, back at the boat with something for her. A phone with an untraceable sim card. He wonders where Bo is. Hope confesses he has not returned and gives him his location. Leo later calls her with bad news. No one was there and there were signs of a struggle! Hope considers, then decides to take action, despite the risks. She places a call ... - EJ and Nicole arrive at the hospital. Dr. Dan greets them. EJ wishes to see his son right away. Dr. Dan drawls there has been a slight change in plans. The bandage removal must be postponed until the lad wakes up. Dr. Lexie would like a word with EJ. Where is father? He admits he did not tell him about Johnny's bandages being removed. Kate is looking after him. Lexie would like EJ to be prepared. Even if Johnny's vision was saved, it might have been affected. They will have to wait and see if he will have a life of hardship. EJ frowns and calls her warning patronizing and depressing, for his son will have a normal life whatever the outcome is. EJ glumly sits down and Nicole tries to make him feel better. He does not want her to be negative about his son, however. Elsewhere, Rafe reassures Sami that little Johnny will overcome as she nervously cries. She does not want him to have to overcome anything. Rafe promises he will make it through and be even better. They hug. Sami remembers how she made it through after she lost Grace. They talk God and goodness. Sami feels blessed as God gave her the children and Rafe ... Sami, Rafe, Nicole, and EJ, soon converge near Johnny's room and the doctors approach. Lexie states the time has come to remove the bandages. Only EJ and Sami may enter. They do and EJ asks his son if he would like them to take the nasty bandage off. Johnny nods. The parents anxiously await as Dr. Dan gets to it. Within minutes, Johnny can see fingers, though it is hard. Carly explains it will take a little while. He is fine! Sami wants to celebrate and calls him a treasure. EJ is elated. They hug their son. Rafe later gives excited Johnny a new FBI cap. Soon Ally and his brother will be there. Sydney, too. The gang must leave his room to let him rest a while longer. EJ walks out with a smile and kisses Nicole, thanking her for her kindness and support. He praises her for catching the problem. She asks if they can set a new wedding date. He promises they will discuss later. Ring ring! EJ takes the call from Judge Fitzpatrick and informs her that he and Nicole have decided to postpone their wedding so he will not be setting a new wedding date. Nicole blinks. Meanwhile, Rafe thanks Dr. Carly for all she has done for Johnny. She tearfully asks him to help her find Bo ... EJ slips back into Johnny's room and suggests he play with his presents. Johnny refuses to remove Rafe's cap, and he wants to wear that gift all the time! Outside, Sami thanks Nicole for what she did from the bottom of her heart. Nicole forces a smile. Johnny is all that matters. She thinks she will be losing Sydney and EJ and Johnny, given that Sami and EJ have made their peace. There is no place for her in EJ's life now and she will not be a part of her kids' lives. She sadly congratulates Sami on her win and woefully walks away. - Gus wakes up Madame, who is lying on the beach, and they excitedly spot a plane overhead. Something is dropped and they jump out of the way. Viv and Gus approach the crate and she laments they are cursed. "I almost got killed by a hailstorm of peas and carrots!" Why, she could be eaten alive by sand crabs! When Gus discovers wine and caviar in the crate, she becomes interested, until they realize there is no corkscrew or can opener. Desperate times call for desperate measures! Madame wildly gnaws the cork off ...Moments later, they drink up, though she has a sore tooth. "Foiled again, Brady Black!" she declares. - Replay of Maggie at the mansion as she realizes the V.A. on Victor's map stands for Vivian Alamain. She just knows she is stranded on that island! Victor admits she is, yet he did not put her there. The redhead urges him to do the right thing and rescue the Titan castaway. The Greek tycoon quips she has all the comforts of home there. But Maggie begs to differ and she believes she misjudged him. He is sorry he disappointed her and adds he cannot make unilateral decisions. She gets mad and insists he for once think of someone other than himself. Vivian is his wife, which makes his behavior toward her all the more reprehensible. He must show self-respect and dignity if he even wants to be her friend. She implores him to do it for her, if not for himself ... - At the kitchen door, Mel denies she is pregnant to Phil and closes the door, telling him to leave her alone. He enters regardless. She accuses Chloe of making it up. Phil explains she said Mel was sick. Mel loudly protests. Phil murmurs she is not a very good liar. He notes she is lying cos she no longer wants a baby and suspects she was planning to get rid of it. He asks her for the truth. After all, the baby is his too. Mel insists she is keeping the baby. She will have the child! Phil assures her that she has changed him and he loves her. Nothing changes that. They also both love the baby she is carrying. He asks her for a chance to make a family with her for their baby - like they never had. - Ben and Jen are having coffee at the pub. He is pleased as punch she invited him again for pasties. She admits she has an ulterior motive and pleasantly proceeds to ask him about his volunteer work at the prison. He gets tight lipped. Jen claims she would be interested in volunteering there as well. Ben solemnly advises her to steer clear of that place. She is too sweet, kind, and beautiful. Jen smiles no one has told her that for a long time. Ben thinks there is something wrong with her husband, in that case. Nath enters and Ben tells him to ask her to volunteer at Salem University hospital. Confused Nath explains she has been volunteering at the hospital for years already. Ben realizes something is wrong, despite Jen's attempt to make an excuse. Dr. Nath gets paged. Ben offers to cover for him and heads to the hospital, after flashing a smile at Jen. She tells Nath to have a seat and asks how he is. He is more concerned about Mel than anyone at present ... - Back at Bo's dingy holding room, the warden comes back, mad that the prisoner gave her the wrong location. No Hope anywhere! He drawls that is cos she is too sneaky and must have moved on. He calls the warden an evil bitch and she wonders if he wants more pain. He wonders if that is a trick question. - Back at the house of Kiriakis, Victor sighs he would do anything for the redhead, but he cannot bring Viv back. It would simply be too dangerous. Maggie is ready to speak his language. Greek? No, barter! She wonders if she has something he wants. He gets close and tenderly reminds her she does. She promises a dinner date alone with him if he brings Viv home, in that case. "Take it or leave it?" - Mel tells Phil she does not love him anymore and accuses him of using the baby to worm his way back into her good graces. She kicks him out and he woefully departs .... - Back at the pub, tired Nath answers the phone which is on the table beside him."Dr. Horton." Silence. "Hello?" Silence. At the other end, Hope is shocked to hear his voice ... - The wicked warden decides to contact the big boss, to see what he wants her to do with uncooperative prisoner Bo Brady ... - Sami happily confers with Rafe at the hospital. She is ever so happy! However, she knows he was planning to investigate the DiMeras and hopes he will not do anything that would jeopardize her truce with EJ. He promises to be careful and she kisses him. - Back at DiMera mansion, Nicole explains to Sydney that Johnny is fine and her mommy is back in her daddy's life, so he will not need her to take care of them. She adds she will not lose her again and hugs her ... - Back at the hospital, Johnny gets a tad petulant with EJ at his bedside. He asks if he and mommy are friends again. EJ replies that they will be the best of friends. "And Rafe too?" hopefully says his son. EJ's face falls. Dr. Carly enters, to check on the patient. EJ must walk out, then spies Rafe and Sami kissing passionately through the window of a nearby room. He tells himself that he and Samantha will indeed be friends, as he told Johnny. "Rafe, though, is another matter ...!" Next on Days of Our Lives "No. Daniel's not gonna forgive Chloe. I'm not gonna let him!" Mel says crossly. EJ faces Stefano. "The real problem here is Raphael Hernandez!" "You think I'm that stupid or is it just that you think I'm naive!" Sami snaps at Rafe. |
