Bo reassures her, then takes a look himself. "It's not true!" says he. She laments it is all her fault. Bo insists it is no more than a DiMera trick. Hope exclaims this says the man she is married to is John, not him! Ominous music is heard. Bo calls it a forgery and reminds her the date was from back when Stefano brainwashed her into believing she was Princess Gina and tried unsuccessfully to use her to get John away from Marlena. Hope points out her memory remains sketchy about those times. This could be true. Why else would Stefano hang onto it? "Leverage," growls Bo. Hope fears the phoenix already knows how to use it against them, in that case. She examines the document. There was a witness whose handwriting is not easily legible. Bo snaps and refuses to believe it. She is his wife! And nothing on earth will change the fact that their marriage is real! He hugs her like there is no tomorrow. She vows she loves him and their bond will never be broken. He drawls that is just what he needed to hear and they kiss. Hope still has her mind on the certificate, which would mean that their marriage is not legal. John and Marlena would be affected too. Bo would rather not acknowledge it. She implores him to come with her so that they can tell this important detail to their friends. He reluctantly agrees and they depart together. - Suave John saunters into the condo. It is night and Marlena is glad to see him. He and Brady decided to call it a night and remind themselves why they are working so damn hard. He grabs her in a passionate kiss. They snuggle on the sofa and he declares he will cook her dinner tonight. She smiles they could stay right here all night like this. She now perceives something is weighing on his mind. He admits he is concerned how busy he will be these next few months with Basic Black. She understands. He suavely states his heart is all hers and they kiss again. - Madison gets a text to open her door after flashing back to her call to the mystery man. She is surprised when Brady shows up and grabs her in a kiss. She lectures him for sending her a text with no name or number. He is in a playful mood. He nuzzles her neck and she gushes. He takes her face in his hands and drawls he loves her. She diverts her gaze and he wonders what is the matter. She smiles and shuts the door, apologizing for ruining the moment. He notes the last time he said he loved her, she also said it back. She explains she meant it. He would like to know what happened just now. She confesses she is feeling scared. Oops. She did not intend to sound insecure. He gets how she feels, like she is standing on the edge of a cliff. You never know what could happen. He suggests she stand there and soak it up. She is not alone, for he is there with her, to experience the thrill of it all. She points out she has made a career of predicting trends. Now she is out of her comfort zone. Brady has an idea. He wants to show her what he means and ushers her out the door. - Austin demands to know if Carrie has feelings for Rafe. She cannot answer. He knows from the look in her eye. She wants him to stay so they can figure this out. She made a mistake. Austin angrily accuses her of having feelings for another guy. She broke his heart! He storms out. Carrie is in tears. She now calls Marlena, who senses something is the matter. Carrie laments she did something stupid. Marlena will be at her office shortly. Carrie cries and waits. When Marlena arrives, she is shocked to hear about the kiss, how Sami and Austin showed up. Carrie laments she hurt her husband. Marlena points out she did not intend to hurt anyone. There has been tension between her and Austin of late. She noticed it at Sydney's party. Carrie confesses they fought and he walked out. Now today she did something wrong. Dr. Marlena suggests it might be a good thing for them to have some time apart. She might need some time to figure out how she feels about Rafe before she talks to Austin again. Carrie claims she does not need to figure out how she feels about Rafe. She already knows ...! - Replay of Sami screaming at Rafe to get out. He refuses until she talks. She is done talking and he does not know her at all! She means it! Rafe looks ready to cry. He loves her. She questions that and wants to know how many times he kissed her sister. Just the one. He messed up but to fix this, they must consider everything. He implies she messed up too! She cannot believe he is making such an excuse. Rafe argues something has been off lately and they have not felt connected. In addition, she wanted to rush into their vow renewals ceremony even when it seemed desperate. Like she was trying to fix them. Sami turns away. He adds it all started when Johnny went missing. She counters he became distant after she took the job with Madison. Why did he do this if he cares so much? He was willing to risk everything! Why? Rafe notes she became verrrry different after Johnny was found. She snaps she thought her son was dead. He reminds her she blamed him when he went missing, and then forgave him, but did she really? Is that the problem? Sami cries he is changing the subject. He kissed her sister! He reasons it is part of the same thing. When did this void between them happen? Sami stares, her blue eyes filled with worry ... Abigail gets a call from Gabi. She boasts she cannot get together tonight as she is working, at the professor’s office! Austin soon shows up at his office with a half-empty bottle, a swagger, and a slur. He slurs he has a good reason to get drunk when Abigail cannot conceal her surprise. He plops on the sofa and she takes the bottle away, wondering what is going on. He slurs about loyalty being overrated. Abigail asks if he wishes to discuss. He calls her a good friend. She hates to see him so upset. He sighs he wishes that was all it was and lets it slip his wife told him she had feelings for another man. He stands up and takes another drink from the bottle. Abigail has just seen an opening … Bo and Hope arrive at John’s place and they bear bad news. He wonders what is going on.
