| Soap Sins Monday, October 24, 2011 CHAPTER 6 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! The Fan Event Scoop! - Tammy, the young blonde heroine of the show, was strung out again. They were more than likely some sort of prescription meds, but they made her laugh very loud and twitch her nose slightly. She was so cute that none of the fans seemed to notice. When her name was called at the fan event, she bounced onto the stage like a perky princess and the whole place went wild. She flipped her hair extensions like they were real and giggled, taking the mike. As per the instructions of Chip the producer, who knew Tammy might not be lucid enough to say anything that made much sense, she thanked everyone and then introduced her leading man, Dominic the hunk. The tall, dark actor sauntered out on stage like if he had just stepped off the cover of a GQ magazine. Cameras snapped and a roar filled the auditorium. Tammy handed Dominic the mike, just as they had done in rehearsals, and he told the audience they would now take questions. Dozens of hands shot up. Dominic pretended to scan the crowd as innocently as possible and then chose the lady in the red hat. She was the studio plant and he was supposed to let her ask the first question, to set the tone for the event. - The lady in the red hat asked how they prepared for their love scenes. The audience liked the question. Dominic grinned and explained that he always worked out a bit with no shirt on. This was the line he had been given by the studio. As predicted, the fans cheered and applauded. More pictures were taken. Tammy quipped she liked to watch him. The crowd cheered even more loudly. The soap reporters watching from the front row took notes, convinced they had an exciting scoop, unaware that they were pawns playing a part, just like the actors who were reciting their lines. The only difference was that those soap reporters didn't know it, whereas the actors did. - After a few minutes, Dominic introduced the one and only Dakota Diamonelle, who was sporting a ring befitting a Kardashian, and a Dolce and Gabbana little black dress. She waltzed onto the stage like Cleopatra and waved. The diva had arrived. - A reporter who had flown in from Europe shoved ahead of the others in the front row, and yelled "How's married life?" - Dakota took the mike from Dominic and he sat in a stool behind her, along with Tammy. "Why, just wonderful, thank you so much!" She held up her glittery ring for all to see and photograph. They did exactly what she wanted. After 5 minutes of posing for photos with the flashy ring, Dakota purred into the mike, telling the fans how she was looking forward to meeting them at the party later that night. And she meant it, too. She loved the fans almost as much as she loved herself. She opened her cherry plumped lips again to plug a surprise she had in the works, but was rendered speechless when the show jokester unexpectedly strutted out in front of her. The jokester was known for catching his fellow cast members off guard and making funny faces, but this time he was about to do something that, some later said, was the real reason he wound up getting FIRED ... |
