The new writers' work begins to air this week! - EJ must still deal with Stefano's will and other legal issues. He has been arrested and the cops claim his motive for murder was the DiMera estate before Stefano could change his will. - EJ insists that he was set up. Rafe wonders. - Rafe gets a lead from Spencer and goes to investigate. - Sami has a bad reaction to EJ not being a DiMera but all will soon be forgiven! - Lucas is consumed with jealousy.He tries to force Sami to choose - either him or EJ! And he denies he is jealous. - Kate wishes Lucas would come to his senses and dump Sami. He explains he loves her but Kate warns him he is fighting a losing battle as EJ will always be the sun in her orbit. - Chad sees arrested EJ at the station and scoffs at the notion that he is accused of killing Stefano. He feels EJ is his brother no matter what and supports him. EJ is moved. - Sami and Will realize they are on the same side. - Sonny is there for Will as he works on EJ's computer at the mansion. Will is up all night and Sonny sleeps on the sofa. - Ian has the surveillance footage of EJ's gloves being snatched from the dumpster erased as Sonny and Will watch it from the mansion! But Sami is no fool. She has an extra copy for EJ. Will wants it. Sami visits EJ to ask what she should do with it. He requests she take it to his lawyer and steals a quick kiss. Sami makes her way to the lawyer's office but gets mugged en route! She goes home and cries on Lucas' shoulder but when he hears what she was up to, he claims she has made her choice through her actions by wanting to defend EJ and storms out! - Will hopes Sami will post EJ's bail and she does! In her opinion, he will not get a fair trial without the footage on the now stolen flash drive. Needless to say, Lucas does not take it well. - Roman suspects EJ is manipulating Sami and Will. He receives an anonymous tip that the DiMera jet is being fueled. He and a cop head to the mansion to confront EJ, whose ankle monitor is about to be neutralized by Will! - Dan assures cramping Nicole her baby is fine, then goes to keep looking for Mel. He still clearly cares for Nicole and notes they help each other. - Brady is back and shirtless and clean and sober! - Roman is determined to lock EJ up. Sami urges EJ to leave town as no one will believe in his innocence. Roman tries to stop him but Sami gets in the way! (Roman has Will followed to the DiMera warehouse and that is where he finds them) - Gabi has some explaining to do as her fingerprints were found on the note Andrew left. She pouts and pretends she just must have touched it once. Bo and Hope wants her hypnotized so she can remember more. And they know she is hiding something. - Andrew revives Mel. She praises him and removes his mask, calling him handsome. But she fears she has a concussion. Andrew decides they need a getaway car and departs to rent one. - Mel dials Chad when she momentarily gets away Andrew's phone. Brady and Chad realize she is in the toxic tunnels under Salem, the same ones that killed Lexie! Brady gets the map on his tablet and they are off! Gabi promises to call the cops. She tries to reach Andrew without any luck and then goes down to the tunnels alone. She sends Brady and Chad in the wrong direction. - Andrew is enraged Mel duped him and breaks the phone. - Austin and Carrie are both leaving Salem. It was just not in the cards for her and Rafe. Plans to have Carrie return solo have also been dropped ... - Carrie shares one last goodbye with Rafe. She informs him Sami still loves him and advises him to admit she still gets under his skin. - Rafe is still angry at Sami but flashes back to one of their passionate moments. - Kate and Austin have a poignant final scene. He explains he has to leave town so he does not lose his wife! - Victor and Maggie get some intense airtime with Dan and Nicole. The Greek tycoon offers all his resources to help find Mel. He then reads the riot act about Nicole seducing his godson! Maggie wants him to chill and warns he could lose Dan, who claims his lovelife is off limits. - Doug and Julie are baaack and all glammed up. - The autism ballroom GALA gets underway ... - Brady and Chad search for Mel in the toxic caves beneath Salem. Brady smells the gas leak and wants Gabi to contact emergency services but she is not nearby! Gabi is in fact slowly approaching Mel to help her escape. Andrew is lost and his light has gone out. Mel sees what he is about to do and screams for him to stop. But he lights his lighter and this causes the first big explosion. The threat of Mel's captor is not over yet, however ... The dust settles from the first explosion. Mel realizes Andrew knows Gabi's name but how? Gabi explains he was her creepy stalker too. She begs him to let them go. He chains both girls to a pipe, then goes to check out a noise. - Chad and Brady are above ground to use their phones. Brady the absent groom has another text from Madison. Chad calls Gabi's phone, which Andrew tosses into a puddle in the tunnel. He gets back to the girls and leers he will now reveal all to Mel, but the electric box behind him is going pop pop pop as the sparks fly ... - The fire department and utilities check out the source of the rumbling beneath the town square. Chad and Brady go back down, anxious to find Mel before the gas leak makes the whole place blow sky high! - Ian and Madison face off. - Jack, Jen, and Abigail are one big happy family and she has the guy of her dreams who has asked her to help with the social event of the year. It is almost too good to be true ... - Jack is pleased to hear Cam say he would do anything for Abigail. - Jack and Jen declare how much they love each other. This time there is something different about Jack, a faraway look in his eye, as though he senses something ... - As John and Marlena prepare for Brady's last minute wedding, he suavely reminds the blonde he plans to walk her down the aisle again. The stage is set for an Olympic size cliffhanger and as DaysCafe first broke, it will be EXPLOSIVE AND HOT! The explosions rocking Salem, triggered by the gas beneath the tunnels, cause a series of unexpected events ... The gala windows are blown out, fireballs follow, as well as much force! Pregnant Nicole has a cramp and is in harm's way. Daniel tries to reach her as a chandelier starts to fall. Down in the tunnels, Andrew is knocked out, but when Chad gets the beam off him, he opens his eyes and suggests he ask Gabi where Mel is! Brady is missing from his wedding, but manages to get to Mel in the tunnel and shields her from the cave in, Meanwhile EJ is trying save Sami's life as she hangs from a warehouse platform. Abigail is trapped in an elevator with a weakened cable, Lucas and Roman lose consciousness at the warehouse where Roman was trying to arrest fugitive EJ. Glass and debris are flying everywhere along with the gala guests. The town square is in a state of collapse, and Salemites appear to be buried alive. One man at the gala is enveloped by a fireball no one could survive .... Brace yourselves cos there WILL be casualties! |
