Jen nervously explains they are there to celebrate the lives of those who are responsible for this great day. She goes on to say how much her grandparents loved each other - and others! Love is the most important thing. Both Dan and Jack are watching and admiring her. She announces Hope will now read a poem that Tom once wrote for Alice. After the love poem, Hope invites anyone who wants to tell memories of Alice on the stage. Maggie shares how she misses Alice every day and hears her still. She knows she is reminding her love is more powerful than anything. Julie, Bo, John, and Roman share a few memories. Roman calls Alice the goddess of donuts. Mayor Abe and Lexie refer to her love. Marlena and John stand together as she explains this tree before them represents their love and will grow and inspire them all. Bo does the honors. The pretty lights in the tree are illuminated and the crowd gathers round. Hope informs Doug it is time. Bo asks Julie if she is ready. Of course! EJ is interrupted from making a phone call by his date. She wonders when the time will be right for what he has planned. "Soon," he grins. But not quite yet. Chloe happily tells Kinsey, Brady, and Nicole how she stood up to Kate. Kinsey will drive her to the audition. Chloe smiles to Nicole and Brady that she loves them both and departs. Nicole praises Brady for doing good. Doug and Julie take to the stage. They proceed to sing ALWAYS together, in perfect harmony. Couples dance together as Jack woefully watches, Mel stands alone. Sami is on the phone scribbling something down. As Doug and Julie end their beautiful duet, Marlena smiles at John. "We're home!" Next on Days of Our Lives "That little boy is going to be so lucky to have you back in his life," Adrienne assures Chloe. Chloe faces an uncomfortable Dan and Jen. "I'm here to say goodbye."
