Will explains he was planning to tell them but then he showed up. Gabi moans she loves Nick and Will loves Sonny. Will explains they will have to tell his mom and Rafe. Nick suddenly announces there is no need to tell anyone the truth. At least not yet! John admits to Eric he wishes Marlena would stop anticipating the worst from Kristen. Father Eric deduces he has forgiven her. John flashes back to that moment. Eric senses there is something he is not telling him. Kristen laments that is her personal journal filled with her private thoughts. “My God!” snaps Marlena as she starts to read aloud how Kristen insisted Marlena was not correct in believing she wanted to hurt her, while John was more open to forgiveness. Kristen wrote she had no regrets about her efforts. Marlena leans against the door and calls this whole fiasco a show, a set up. Kristen asks for the tablet back. Brady returns it to her. Kristen notes the shrink should be ashamed of herself and decides to call the police. Brady asks her to wait. Kristen casts Marlena a devious glance. Brady asks Marlena to leave. She does. He now turns to Kristen and hopes she will help. He asks her to listen to him for 3 minutes. She rubs her forehead for dramatic effect. Brady reasons Marlena merely needs more time to see that she has changed. Kristen looks him in the eye and wonders if the same is true of him. Does he believe she has changed? Sami quietly insists she is fine and so is Rafe. EJ sits across from her. He is all business. She stares at the flowers scattered on her desk as he explains they will have to work through dinner today. Nick points out Will and Gabi have been rather impulsive. The three of them must calm down and figure things out before they bring anyone else into the mix. He notices Gabi is tired.She is and goes to splash water on her face. Once alone with Will, Nick concedes that he knows this is important to him. He asks him to give his beloved Gabi some time before all the families weigh in. Will is not sure about keeping the secret for long but agrees to at least a day or so. Nick now announces he cannot tell Sonny either. John informs Eric he is inclined to believe Kristen has changed but still remains in tune with Marlena and her concerns. Eric must now return to his priestly duties and excuses himself. John is tense. Kristen sits on the bed with her bandaged wrist. Brady agrees she has changed and hopes she will extend herself to others. She sighs she has tried to make an effort. She does not think Marlena will ever accept she has changed, Brady crouches down by the bed and assures her Marlena is a forgiving woman. He thinks she should cut her some slack. She makes a snide remark, then admits she is trying to be a bigger person that those who have condemned her. Brady teases the land of higher ground is not without perks. She would be the bigger person. Kristen decides not to call the cops but only if Brady will help protect her from Marlena in the future. He promises to keep a eye on her. She still feels she should tell John. Brady implores her not to call John. She should let Marlena tell him instead. He offers to talk to Marlena about it and implores her not to cause more turmoil for his father. Kristen, still holding her phone, considers. She now reaches the voice mail of John Black, whose voice asks the caller to leave a message. Beep! Kristen ends the call and puts her phone down. Brady is grateful. Will wonders why it is Nick’s business when he tells his boyfriend. Nick reminds him he might not want him to know he is going to be a father. Will does not deny it but ... Stressed Gabi returns. Will updates her that Nick suggested they should keep the baby’s true paternity a secret for now. Nick explains they should just slow things down. Gabi wonders what Will thinks. He can go along for the time being but would not want to keep this from Sonny forever. Nick stands with his arms crossed as Will hugs Gabi and assures her she can call if she needs anything. Exit Will. Gabi now gets a concerned call from Rafe, who pleasantly asks how she is. Is Nick with her? Yes, he is. Rafe is relieved to hear she is not alone and suggests she get some rest. They exchange I love yous. Gabi now laments to Nick that her brother knows her well. She cannot hide this. Nick holds her close and whispers they will not hide. He will take care of her … Sami has placed Rafe’s flowers in a vase and explains to EJ that Abigail will be able to look after the kids. EJ drawls that is excellent as he toys with a lipstick sample. Sami is ready to stay as late as needed and sits at her desk. She is determined to prove she deserves this job and will make the lipstick campaign a success, thereby showing Kate that she too can be a top businesswoman. EJ calls that the Samantha he knows and loves and suggests they get started. Sami turns and types frantically at her computer. EJ watches her with longing. John is glad to run into doc at the town square but wonders what is the matter. “John, we should ...” His phone rings with a missed call from Kristen, who did not leave a message. Marlena solemnly suggests he call her back. He wonders why. She woefully sighs just do it. Brady thanks Kristen and assures her she made the right decision. She now gets the call back from John, who noticed her missed call. He asks if everything is alright. Kristen pouts and gives Brady a sultry look ... END |
