Billie agrees she was and vows to bring down Stefano for all of them! - Outside, Roman warns Brady not to go vigilante, Madison begs him to come inside. He agrees to hold back. For now! - EJ explains he does not believe in Stefano's innocence. There was that threatening text message to John. He wonders why he tormented those people so much in Alamania too. It was extreme. Stefano notes it has to do with his family. As he is now an outsider, he no longer trusts him! With the DiMeras, you are either in or you are out! EJ picks up an old photograph of father and son and appears troubled that he is still being rejected. He slams down the picture. "You are on your own, Stefano." Exit EJ. Stefano picks up the broken picture of himself and EJ when life was simpler and considers. - Ian questions whether Stefano ever loved Kate. She insists he did. Ian reminds her she was blackmailed into marrying him. Kate concedes it did not begin as a fairytale romance, though they did grow to love each other. Ian talks Stockholm syndrome. She was the hostage, Stefano the captor she fell in love with. Kate does not believe it. Ian agrees to give her time to clear her clouded mind but she should not take too long for he loves her and wants what is best for her. - Jen and Jack rush into the pub with daughter Abigail. Jen hugs Kayla and gasps is it true what she heard? Kayla laments it is. Jen now learns that Caroline is on a church trip with Ciara. Roman is hoping to contact her and give her the sad news himself ... - Austin sits alone at the bar, devastated. Abigail puts her hand on his shoulder and whispers she is sorry. He thanks her. - Roman mutters to Shane that this is hard. He does not like deceiving the family. Shane insists it is the only way. Kayla approaches, all ears. ISA Shane does not miss a beat. He repeats it is the only way ... they will get Stefano. Kayla demands justice!Jen stands up shouting she wants Stefano DiMera to burn in hell! Roman gets word that their esteemed mayor is about to give a press conference. He is on his way! Meanwhile Shane assures the pub gang that they will bring down DiMera. Nicole wishes them luck for they will sure need it! Shane righteously promises that what is right will prevail ... - Kate changes the subject to business. She is working with Madison to destroy Sami. Ian is delighted. She will share all the details later. Kate suddenly gets a text message and blanches. "Oh my God! Stefano has finally lost his mind!" She is now terrified what he would do to them! - Alone at the mansion, Stefano gets a call from his mole, Agent Harmon. He wants to see his double agent pronto! The phoenix stands at his chess set and shoves all the pieces from the board with an angry sweep of the hands, his face red with rage. When Harmon arrives, his master thunders this is not what he wanted! He only wanted back what was rightfully his. Harmon is sorry. Stefano throws him in the chair and demands to know if he is certain they all died. He is. - Shirtless Chad is asleep with Melanie when he gets a call. Tis Gabi, crying for him to come to her. - Suited EJ politely greets Roman at the town square and offers his condolences, Perhaps he would rather be with his family. Roman insists he would rather be there for the press conference to assure the public they will get the person responsible - and they all know who that is! - Breaking news is shown as the camera rolls at the town square. EJ declares that the tragic deaths of the Salem six will not be in vain. The commissioner and federal investigators are working around the clock. He insists the monster responsible will be brought to justice, whoever they are. Family members are watching the live broadcast at the pub. Stefano watches from his living room. Mayor EJ adds if the perpetrator is watching, he is forewarned. And now a moment of silence for those who lost their lives on this day. Stefano somberly turns off the television, pondering his next move ... END |
