| DAYS OF OUR LIVES Part 2 Monday, June 11, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! BAILED OUT - Part 2 - Lucas is not sure what to think. He recalls all the years he covered up for their son for shooting EJ. It now occurs to him if Marlena knows about that, she cannot tell Roman (i.e.the police), as they will think he is capable of anything! They agree to protect him. Meanwhile, frightened Will is fingerprinted and photographed. Roman and the officer return Will to his parents. The commissioner sternly explains they will both be outside. Once he is alone with his parents, Will exclaims he did not do it. Lucas hopes he is not lying about anything else. Will insists he tested the gun he bought with a shot but he did not shoot Stefano. “You guys believe, me right?” Sami points out he just recently told her he shot EJ and let Lucas go to prison for it. They must be able to separate the truth from the lies. Will accuses her of not listening to him. Roman returns, as he must take the prisoner until he is arraigned. Lucas reassures his son as he is escorted away. - EJ casually wonders what possible motive he would have for killing his fatha. Rafe suggests he wanted to get all the power and money. EJ is not interested in his theorizing and sarcastically asks him to let him know when the police decide he may come and retrieve his things. Rafe agrees and slams the door on him. EJ steps away, though he does not go far. - Jack decides to go see Theo about a video game challenge and gives the two ladies their privacy. Lexie assures Jen it is alright, for no one really knows what to say. Jen cannot imagine the words, much less speak them. Lexie, however, has made peace with the fact that she is dying. Jen cries it is hard for those who love her, yet she remains so courageous. Lexie understands. They dab at their tears with a tissue. Lexie notes this has been hard on Abe especially. As a doctor, she has witnessed what caregivers must endure. Despite seeming to be strong and cheerful, they are in a tough spot. She wishes she could make it easier for Abe. It hurts her deeply to see him in such pain. Jen woefully apologizes for the mess she made of the election. Lexie does not feel that is important, then gets a sudden headache. They appear to be coming more frequently now. She admits she is growing weaker by the day. She has little time left and complains she still has much to do! She will not waste more time discussing regrets. She asks about Jen and Jack. They re-evaluated things and are back on track. Lexie can relate, as she and Abe had their fair share of problems but both friends got through it. Jen starts to cry. Lexie cries too and they embrace. Jack comes downstairs and watches the friends saying goodbye. He now tells them of Theo beating him all too easily and then he wanted to draw. Lexie is proud of her son’s artistic talent. She believes one day his works will be exhibited in a gallery. Jen is sure Lexie will be with him every day. They will make sure he remembers … - Abe sits all alone on a bench at the town square with a cup of coffee. Kayla approaches and wonders if he is alright. Has something happened to Lexie? Abe replies she is having a visit with Jack and Jen. He just felt like getting some fresh air. Kayla tries to make him feel better. He can let his guard down with her and share his feelings. After all, that is what friends are for . Abe smiles in appreciation. He pats her leg and thanks her. He wishes he could cry, but if he did, he would not be able to stop. He loves and needs Lexie and knows not what he will do without her. Kayla takes his hand in hers. She now asks about the Stefano murder investigation. Abe remarks there are indeed many motives and suspects, including him. Kayla quips out half the town wanted Stefano dead. She suggests he bring Theo by for a visit or just call if he needs anything. Abe now gets a call from Roman, who bears news. There has been an arrest in the Stefano murder case. WILL. Abe cannot believe it. Roman informs him he was at the mansion the night of the murder, there were fingerprints, and his hand tested positive for gunpowder residue. Kayla is shocked to hear it. Abe assures her he knows for a fact that the shooter was NOT Will! - EJ sneaks into the mansion living room via the side glass doors, presses a button and retrieves some important documents. Rafe is about to leave, then realizes the living room doors from the foyer have suddenly been closed! He decides to investigate. EJ conceals himself when Rafe enters the living room. He soon gets a call. “What? Will Horton was arrested for Stefano’s murder?” He takes off. EJ steps out of the adjoining room with a sigh. Documents in hand, he walks out the side door, mulling over what he has just heard. - At the pub, Lucas notes Will had no apparent motive to kill Stefano. Sami updates him on Stefano blackmailing him into making sure Rafe found out about their affair. EJ recently learned of it and subsequently fired Will. Lucas warns no one can find out Stefano was blackmailing him, for that would be an excellent motive in the eyes of the law. He hopes Marlena will not repeat anything to Roman. In addition no one can find out Will was the one who shot EJ all those years ago. Sami sighs. Rafe approaches their table. - Bail has been set and immediately posted. Will is taken to a room, where he will meet the person who posted his bail. He assumes it was his mother or father. However, when the door opens, there stands none other than EJ DiMera! END. |
