| DAYS OF OUR LIVES DAY Part 2 Friday, June 1, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! NIGHT AT THE OPERA - Part 2 Hope slowly opens the door and enters her home. At the office, Kate has a gun of her own! Bo walks through the town square. He breaks into a jog. Will is on the move in the rain ... Back at the apartment, Sami thinks it is not safe that the gun is at the pub. They should take it to her dad at the police station. She fears Will was planning to do something with it! Will is shown at the mansion, gasping Stefano threatened him and made him do things. He reaches for the gun Abe left beside the chess set. Kate is also shown , confronting Stefano, a gun aimed at him. She will not let him control her life anymore! Bo is shown too with his gun pointed at Stefano, growling there will be justice! The mansion now seems empty. Almost. An elegant woman clad in a red coat has just arrived. Stefano is sitting in an arm chair. He stands up. "I have been expecting you. You want to kill me now?" Marlena glares daggers at him. Why would she want to kill him? He wonders why else she would be there. To offer him some insight into the soul he does not have. She likens him to a weak bully who torments and tortures others to hide the fact that he has nothing to offer the world. He sarcastically thanks her for the analysis. She informs him he may have sunk to his lowest, but they shall not take it. "There will be retribution ...!" She demands to know whether he understands her. "Perrrrrfectly," coos the phoenix. She leers she both pities and despises him, then turns and walks out. Stefano folds his arms and watches her walking way with a chuckle. Marlena pauses when she gets to the chess set where Abe's gun was left. She lifts it up and considers. Abe looks out the window at the pouring rain, then calls out for Lexie. No answer. A note has been left on the table. TRIED TO STAY UP. MY EYES WOULDN'T LET ME. LOVE LEXIE. John slips back into the DiMera living room and touches the gun at the chess set but does not pick it up. He senses someone is outside and steps away. Bo now enters the dark room with his flashlight, pushes down his hood, and takes the gun in his hand to examine it. He glances around the seemingly empty room. EJ is drinking alone at the pub. He suddenly stands up and walks out with purposeful steps. In the rain, he runs into Ian, who bids him good evening, then remarks the mayor is in a very foul mood. EJ is soon back at the mansion, pouring himself yet another dink. He spies the gun by the chess set, picks it up, and hears a barking dog. He walks to the door and looks out the window, then exits the room. Here comes Hope with her flashlight! She also has a look at the gun by the chess set that is now covered with so many fingerprints ... Sami and Lucas rush into the pub. She is frantic as Will is not picking up his phone. She now tries her mother. Lucas laments they have a bigger problem for the gun is gone! He hopefully wonders if it was just moved, then drags Sami somewhere. Kate has just picked up a gun at the mansion again and stands inside the dark living room, not sure what to do next. Stefano kisses Lexie's smiling framed photograph and tells her he is sorry. He hears a noise and turns but there is no one there. He helps himself to a brandy. There is movement at the door behind him. He sighs and drinks up. He now puts on his favorite opera and toasts as he sits in his grand armchair. Pagliacci plays loudly as the empty homes of the suspects are shown. The opera - the tragedy of a jealous husband - resonates throughout the DiMera mansion. A dark gloved hand, rather masculine in its movements, reaches for the gun and a figure approaches the master of the house from behind. The figure silently walks toward the armchair where Stefano listens to the music, his eyes closed in rapture, his hand on his heart. A gun is raised. A shot is fired. BANG! The opera has ended ...
