| DAYS OF OUR LIVES SUMMARY Part 2 Tuesday, January 24, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! The Road Less Traveled - Part 2 - Abe announces they must supply EJ with the wrong questions! Jen thinks that is great. Abe wonders how to make it happen. Jen will check with her reporter pal and prepares to make the call. Is he sure about it? Abe chuckles EJ has him thinking like him now. He cannot wait for this election to be over and done with! - EJ enters with the mail and asks what Nicole and Will are up to. She smiles and Will pretends he was busy making deliveries. Just his usual lowly intern duties. - At the pub, Doug has some notes on his and Julie's tracking of Alice's bank account. He has discovered that money always wound up in the same place. The end point was a bank in Africa so they plan to get on a plane and go there! Hope thanks Julie, who teases they will make it like a second honeymoon, in addition to the serious digging. Hope fears what they might find. Stefano seemed to have been implying that gran was into something very bad. Julie insists no one could corrupt their Alice. Doug points out Stefano has just been sowing doubt in his usual manner. He is so self-serving. Bo could not have said it better himself! Julie and Doug now head off to shop before flying to Africa. They all hug and the pair exit, after promising to call when they have news. Hope now feels energized. It is time to take the fight to Stefano! - Sami and Rafe continue to disagree. She stammers he used to like she was crazy and unpredictable. Rafe drawls he will never stop loving that Sami. Sami snaps he could have fooled her and bangs some dishes. Rafe refuses to congratulate her on her fledgling career as a corporate spy. Furthermore, what she is doing is not legal! He is worried about her. She reminds him that - as he himself said - it is just cosmetics. Rafe warns Kate will want revenge. She claims she has an exit strategy. Rafe notes the team comes first in a new job. Sami bitterly wonders if Carrie comes first for him. Rafe sighs she has gotta be kidding, but she isn't! - Austin laments to Carrie that she made him feel like a yoyo when she could not meet him for dinner. She is sorry, but she is working hard to get a business up and running so they can afford to stay in Salem. She did not think dinner was that important. Austin gets touchy. Are they not important? He remembers they could always find time for each other in the past. Why not now? - As it turns out, Jen's contact will not plant the wrong questions. Abe whispers no matter what they do, it must be kept quiet, for the fallout could be a catastrophic. Enter unsuspecting Lexie. "What fallout?" Abe covers by claiming they were talking about possible fallout from losing the debate. Lexie assures him he will triumph. The audience will see he is the best man, whereas EJ is a liar. She hugs her husband. Jen gulps. - Back at the mansion, EJ kisses Nicole upon learning that the debate questions will be all theirs in a few hours. EJ has something to do with William so she gives them their privacy. The master now asks the pupil whether he has anything to report. Apparently EJ had anticipated an attempt at bribery from Nicole. Will cannot keep a straight face as he hands him the slip of paper with the amount and quips he has never been bribed before. EJ is amused. Will wonders how he could so easily predict what Nicole would do. He makes a snide remark about her being dysfunctional. And how he loves her for it! - Sitting in bed with their schedules, Austin and Carrie discover he has a canceled faculty meeting this week. Thursday night they agree to go on a romantic date. He cannot wait. She smiles. - Back at the loft, Rafe scoffs and assures Sami that she and the kids come first. The job with Carrie is to use his investigative skills. He was hoping to put food on the table. Sami argues that is what she is doing too. Rafe is disappointed she does not see the difference and puts on his coat to go to work. Sami is miffed he is not saying goodbye. He coldly says goodbye and walks out. Sami shuts the door and cries like she just lost her best friend ... END Next on Days of Our Lives Madison smiles she knows Victor is most anxious to hear her decision. The Greek tycoon deduces she has made one. Sonny assures Will he does not mean to pressure him about ... ANYTHING! Rafe suggests Sami walk away from her job to make things right! |
