There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the apartment, Will is admiring family faces on his phone. The happily married couple, the in-laws. He asks Sonny what day they got Ari her haircut so he can send the kids at camp a cute copy. "Wednesday." Sonny enters the room as Will woefully stares at his picture with Sami. He is sorry Will misses his mom. Will laments she loathes him. Sonny agrees she was angry but she does worry about Will. There is nothing hateful about how she feels. He takes Will by the hand and assures him he will overcome, just like him and his mom. He is ready to take the baby for a walk. Will sniffles about the boring traffic he has to write about. Sonny smiles they will pick him up some lunch. Will sits down at his computer with a sigh to get to his tedious task. Outside the club, Ben deduces Abi was thinking about EJ when he kissed her. She confirms she did have EJ on her mind. Ben concludes she is not over the guy but she stops him from bolting. She wants to forget EJ. Ben blasts her for making him her rebound. T opens the club door, needing help. Ben goes inside, ignoring Abi’s pleas. T feels bad. So does the glum girl. Clyde comes upon EJ DiMera at the park and calls it an honor. EJ demands to know WOT he wants and who the hell he is! Clyde decides to talk turkey. The two of them could do some biziness together! EJ is still frowning. WHY?! Clyde claims to be intimidated and asks to work for EJ the great and powerful. Spiffy Lucas greets Jordan at the hospital, having just visited with sleeping John. He hopes she and Rafe will try and overcome. She gets snappy and wonders why he cares. Likable Luca notes Rafe is a friend … Jordan snaps Kate is his mom. Lucas gets it but he knows the fling was concocted by Kate. She should not let her triumph! Jordan accuses him of using her to punish his mom. Lucas tenderly tells her that she and Rafe had already gotten over much. She replies she has a patient. Lucas calls her amazing and a beauty and wishes her only happiness. He gives her a meaningful look. Jordan now smiles and walks away … After the patient, she finds herself outside and soon runs into Abi, who admits she might have blown it with brother Ben … At Rafe’s office, Kate calls Sami her witness, who also heard Stefano say he would kill Kate! Sami stares. Rafe drawls he is currently not even in the country. Kate clarifies. It was on speaker phone and Sami heard every single word. Rafe now asks Sami to repeat those words to him. Sami stammers about Stefano’s complaints. Rafe peers. Sami explains, in her best Stefano accent that he said the games were over and he would return to Salem and KILL Katarrrina the broken down HO. Rafe questions that. Sami gets mixed up with her Spanish and Italian. Rafe sighs he will check with the D.A. about getting them to testify at the hearing and walks out of the room with his file. Kate gets miffed at the HO word. Sami does not want to lie. Kate reasons but he did threaten them so why not lie for the greater good … Meanwhile, halfway across the world, suited Stefano calls for his jet to be fueled and rrrrready. He rrrrreturns to Salem TODAY. So he thinks anyway … At the pub, grandpa Lucas coos at baby Ari, who is happy in stepdaddy Sonny’s arms. He asks after Will. Sonny explains he is managing and trying to move on … They have no idea Zoe has appeared at Will’s door with an offer he cannot refuse … Sami suspects Stefano poses no physical threat. He is all about business. Kate talks elimination. Sami states she is family, the mother of those DiMera grandkids. Kate exclaims he is after revenge. Sami gushes EJ is on their side as he does not want her dead. Kate thinks she is losing her focus cos the phoenix was no father to Tony or to Lexie! Sami insists those situations were not murderous. Kate warns Stefano will lock her away from loved ones and children. Sami the girl in the tower will beg for death! Sami sighs things got so crazy. Kate talks reality. A free Stefano is only the beginning of the end for them. She uses the D word again for dramatic effect. Death! Rafe returns with the news that the D.A. would accept their testimony ... Lucas and Sonny sit and discuss Ally at camp. Apparently Sonny and Will got a message from her about a boy she likes. Lucas thinks boys will pose a problem. Sonny would rather have such a simple problem. Poor Will really regrets what he wrote. Lucas notes Sami pushed Will’s buttons. Sonny regrets going to Victor for help. Lucas regrets telling Will about Victor. However, he is hopeful. Will and Sonny can learn from his mistakes. In a marriage, honesty is the best policy. Sonny smiles … Zoe states her case. She was evidently fired by Victor and picked up by SONICS, a super huge online publication where she is now feature editor. Will wonders how that happened. She has his scandalous article to thank and suggests they work together again. Will lets her know her exposure of Abi’s name made his life a living hell! Zoe is sorry. Will warns her he would not write anything about his family again. Zoe agrees to respect his wishes. Will wants it in writing. The shark already knows about his lousy traffic gig and offers him a staff job with a salary. She has the contract right here to prove it! Will takes a look and states he must speak with his husband first. Zoe needs her answer soon and urges him to give his sorry self a break. At the club, T talks highly of Abi as Ben laments they are done. T teases he would love to ask the hot chick out. Ben gives him a jealous look. T teases it seems they are not so done! Ben is in denial. T laughs. Meanwhile, Abigail confides to Jordan that the article dredged up her past with EJ though she has no feelings for him. He disgusts her and deserves to be with Sami! Ben, on the other hand, means the world to her. Jordan encourages her to fight for their relationship and seems to get an epiphany of her own … EJ arrogantly explains he needs no extra cleaners at the company. Humble Clyde claims to know his other business well despite being from the country. He knows EJ is a getting ripped off! He can make him a higher profit and wants a chance to prove it. He can get a good product at a lower cost. He points out the weaknesses in EJ’s chain of distribution. He can do better and advises him to ask around, check him out. EJ coldly asks if he is finished. He is. EJ stands up and walks away without a word. Clyde calls him a son of a beeeech … Cowboy Rafe is ready for the girls. Sami finally agrees with Kate and they get their story straight. Sami insists they say Stefano called her a broken down HO … Stefano assures his man on the phone that Sami and Kate are neutrrrrralized so his return will not be stopped! … Kate decides Sami’s idea is a good one and Stefano’s jealously would be believable. They start to bicker about how they got to this place. Rafe suddenly steps in and states as it turns out, their testimony will not be needed. Some new evidence came in and Stefano would be arrested the second he set foot in Salem. Kate and Sami are surprised Rafe claims to have come across the intel. Kate suspects it was about a shadow corporation. Sami throws her arms around Rafe in gratitude. They are safe! Kate is highly suspicious and says so once Rafe has left his office again. Rafe has not revealed everything. In fact, he is hiding something … She reminds Sami their forensics accountants did not find this mysterious new evidence But Rafe did. Sami talks sixth sense. Kate talks help. One person alone could have done this and they both know who that is! However, they should humor Rafe. Sami agrees to play along … At the mansion, EJ orders his man on the phone to check out Clyde. If he is correct in wot he said, EJ wants to know! He wants also to ensure that he has no connection to law enforcement … At the park, Clyde boasts to his contact on the phone that he might have just set up a sweet situation for himself in Salem … EJ pours himself a drink and then takes a call from fatha, who rages Raphael should be dead! EJ does not disagree and acts surprised fatha has new charges against him. Dangerous music plays. EJ promises he has things under control. Even the two women, who are doing a good corporate job, are under his influence. If necessary, he would step in of course. Seething Stefano vows to exact his revenge once he is back. EJ soap stares into space. Sonny has returned to the apartment and wants to warm up the lunch he brought home. He wonders what Will is reading with such interest. A SONICS offer. Sonny is amazed. Will admits it is from Zoe, who is now working there. Sonny cannot believe Will would ever consider working again for the woman who almost wrecked his life! He suspiciously reads the contract and argues Zoe would do what she did all over again. He thinks she promotes trash. Will argues Zoe assured him he could write what he wants and he longs to make a difference. Sonny offers to speak to Victor. But independent Will would rather go with the offer he got on his own. Sonny unhappily agrees to support him. Will assures him his opinion counts. Sonny is peeved it seemed he already made up his mind by the time he came home and goes to check on the baby … T gets off the club phone and informs Ben that Sonny needs olives. He smiles knowingly. Ben goes back to the storage room. He checks for olives and curses. Then he notices Abi standing there. She has shut the door and stares at him with longing … Kate returns to Rafe’s office. He confirms his new charges stuck and the hearing is over. She purrs and thanks him for looking out for her and gives him a quick kiss. Just then Jordan appears and staggers back in dismay … At the mansion, EJ is having a chummy chat via the phone with the children. He praises Johnny for taking care of his sistas and sends him back to the fun. He then spies Sami and smiles hello. She updates him on Stefano being barred from returning to Salem in the foreseeable future. He calls it luck but Sami knows better. She solemnly states she knows what EJ did and waits for his explanation ... THE END AHEAD ON DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Love still lives in Salem! |
