John Black is on a call, casually dressed inside. He plans to find the man called Petrov cos he is his big clue, the missing link to the shadows of his past. But Steve interrupts his plans when he appears at his door with an update on Bo, a plea for his help ...Gabi and Ari and Will and Rafe are elated their dream came true. Turns out attorney Aiden uncovered an error on the judge's side when reviewing her case so she is as free as a bird. Gabi is grateful and promises her princess she is home forever this time. Will admires her admiring their little girl, getting reacquainted. Rafe gushes the gang should all go out to eat together ... Ben and Abigail are wedding planning from home. She decides the best venue for their wedding would be the old Martin mansion, the one where Hope and Aiden will wed before them ... Marlena is alone in her dim office with HYPNO-CHAD (word made up by me heehee) ... It starts with her making him close his eyes feel he is flooooooooooating, opening a door to the last time he saw Serena. Chad remembers the drinking, the laughs, the messed up state Serena was in as he was, the kiss, her rejection. Marlena probes how it made him feel. Hypno-Chad does not mince works and exclaims he was FURIOUS, who did she think she was ... Steve updates curious John. According to his contact Monika, she last saw Bo almost 2 years ago, when he took her boat from Hamburg to board a freighter headed for the North Sea. He believes Bo had to get out of Germany fast and asks John to find out all ISA activity in the vicinity. After a few clandestine calls, ISA John is surprised to report to Steve that the ISA had shut down their German ISA operations after the Wikileaks scandal. Could Bo have gone rogue??? Steve hopes he did not become a double-agent. John wants the name of the freighter. The Marianne. He searches on his computer and tells Steve where he keeps the beer. Feels like old times for both fellas ... Abigail flirts with Ben, pleased he supports her on all wedding plans. She giggles and they get to kissing - until the baby kicks. But when Ben places his hand on the womb of baby he believes to be his, NO KICK ... Marlena brings HYPNO-CHAD out of his trance, then tells him it was a start. She suspects it will take several sessions to hear his story and warns him she cannot lie to the police if they ask whether he is her patient. He understands and agrees he will do the right thing no matter what he finds out about himself. He wonders why she is being so kind. She reminds him he did save her from Stefano and is quick to point out he is nothing like father phoenix. Chad admits he is having trouble coming up with another name of someone who would have framed him. Marlena has her suspicions about Stefano, in spite of the fact that he swore to his son he was not setting him up ... Abigail is in bed with shirtless Ben, assuring him as well as herself that she is focused on their family no one else. But when she falls asleep by his side she has a horrifying dream. Chad is in jail begging to see her. The prisoner is carted off and she cannot stop the guards from dragging him to the death chamber. She wakes up screaming NO! Ben wakes up as well and wonders ... The Gabi gang enjoy their food at the club. Rafe offers his place for her to stay a while. She smiles she would rather stay with Will and Sonny for a while. Will stammers. He realizes Rafe did not tell her anything and Rafe discreetly decides to take Ari to the counter for ice cream. Will states Sonny is not in Salem, he went to Paris to help Victor manage his European clubs. Gabi is aghast it was so sudden and asks when he will be back. Will laments he does not know. Gabi perceives Will's pain and wonders what happened. He pouts PAUL happened - aka the sports star son of John Black ... John now has a destination for Steve. The Marianne made several trips between Hamburg and Copenhagen. Steve knows someone from the old days he can contact there. But Kayla is not gonna like where this takes him - far away from the sounds of it. John can relate and knows not how much more of his own investigating Marlena will be able to handle. They drink beer and discuss their women. Both belong to soap supercouples worthy of such conversation ... Gabi gathers that Will slept with Paul and managed to move on with Sonny, who forgave him. Will sighs then he screwed up again . Gabi tells him to try and holds his hand, assuring him that Sonny still loves him ... John calls Marlena, who is finishing up the paperwork in her office, now alone. He lets her know he and Steve will be done soon sooooo. She hears the desire in his voice and he does not deny it. He has big plans for the two of them tonight ... Now back to his ISA computer. John cannot believe what he uncovers about the elusive Petrov. He was a Cold War Russian defector who became a teacher at one WINTERTHORNE Academy in Vermont. It does not ring a bell. He peers at the Winterthorne website, sensing something is not quite right ... Marlena is good to go and opens her office door, only to find CRAZY CLYDE standing there. She feels uncomfortable. He comes in to pay her for the last session. So he says. He boasts how things are going his way, falling into place. She warns him such statements often precede a downward spiral. Clyde cackles, over confident about the days of his life. After giving her the check he manages to probe whether she is working with the police to catch the lady killer out there. Marlena cannot say whether she is consulting for the cops on the case. He grins and gets going but spooks her when he turns back to hand her the pen he used to write the check. Then he walks out into the night. Marlena has an ominous feeling of dread ... Phoning Steve has hit pay dirt from his Copenhagen contact. Bo flew under the radar. Tis true he was in Copenhagen on and off but then he left for Cancun. Johns says whoa! Steve announces he is going to go down to Cancun, get Bo, and bring him back where he belongs... Chad heads home to the empty DiMera mansion and pours himself a drink. He gets to thinking and calls Dr. Kayla. When she tries to blow off his curiosity, he sternly states he is on the board and makes her listen. He seeks information on any drug that could cause a blackout without changing the taste of alcohol. Kayla replies roofies. Chad wonders whether he could be tested but the time has passed. After 24 hours there is no trace. He admits he suspects he was drugged, set up ... Gabi lets Will know she still believes in him and Sonny. She even saw Sonny before he left. She feels in her heart of hearts that he will forgive Will again. Will appreciates the pep talk and insists she and Ari remain with him at the apartment. Friends forever ... Ben asks what Abi's nightmare was about. She sobs and lies it was that he left her, unable to share the truth. Ben comforts her with a hug and promises his weeping fiancee he is NEVER going to let go of her. Oooooooo ... Chad is at the mansion, trying to focus. He suddenly flashes back to Clyde bothering him that fateful night he was at the bar and decides HE was the one who drugged him. THE END! |
