Victor stares down at his adversary and pokes fun at his predicament. Stefano the Salem patient lets him know he still has his power and laughs right back. Victor came about the killer. It is extremely inconvenient to have the cops lurking about the Kiriakis clan the way they do whenever a crime is unsolved. Therefore, do allow them to arrest Chad and the sooner the better ... The loan shark Aiden owes money for his gambling debts did not show up at the park. Instead he sent his goon, who is not interested in his excuses and orders him to pay up. Then he grabs his hand and Aiden winces in pain ... Will is at the square with Marlena, watching Ari in her stroller. She wonders whether he has heard from Sonny. Will sighs nothing and seems to blame himself for losing Sonny. Will notes Chad is having an even worse time, as the cops think he did that terrible thing. He also lets it slip that there is something between Chad and Abi but stops short of saying more. He believes Chad will always love Abi, as he will always love Sonny. Marlena proceeds to give her grandson a pep talk about getting back to his writing, tackling something new to take his mind off the waiting ... At the station Rafe still has his doubts. Hope has her eye on the evidence. Forensics has yet to complete the testing on the two telltale neckties that strangled the two victims. Rafe cannot shake the feeling that Chad was right, he is being set up. He suggests getting Marlena on board to provide a profile of the killer to lead them down the right path.Hope is all for it. Another flower delivery from Aiden arrives. Rafe finds out they are engaged and forces a smile and a congratulations. Then they hug and for a brief moment in time they look not like a cop with cop, but a man with a woman ... Kayla has summoned cool Steve to the club. She is impressed he had a conversation with Joey but needed to meet with him alone to go over another matter. She does not approve of his adventurous idea of running after Bo ... Meanwhile Bo is ragged and in rough shape in the dungeon. He gasps and feels himself drifting away ... Steve lowers his voice as he lets Kayla know that ISA John uncovered a questionable clue. The ISA now claim that Bo was not on any assignment for them at the time he vanished. That could mean he was deep undercover and it went straight to hell - or something even more sinister ... He vows to bring her brother home and hopes she will give him another chance after... Abigail assures Chad that she can sneak him into the hospital to see Marlena for hypnosis. He confides he could end up remembering killing the two women, then adds he still suspects Stefano of setting him up. Abigail urges him to FIGHT and prove he is innocent ... Kayla has come to the station to see Hope. Rafe uncomfortably stops hugging Hope and excuses himself. Kayla wonders about the embrace. Hope gushes she just got engaged and Rafe was congratulating her ... But they will always feel like sisters no matter who she is married to ... Ben is at the club, calling Abigail. He gets voice mail again and again ... Abigail calls Marlena and finds out she has some free time and is now in her office ... Abigail and Chad later slip into Marlena's office. The woman in red is somewhat surprised by all the secrecy ... Stefano slyly states he will think about what Victor said, then taunts him for being busy with two women. Victor refuses to discuss Caroline and storms out with a scowl. Stefano is amused ... Bo's never-ending nightmare comes back. He cannot get to Fancy Face at the house. There is a shadow inside and he implores her to let him in ... Kayla forewarns Hope that Steve is hell bent on trying to track down Bo. If Bo comes back Hope is all for it. He would see the kids and she could tell him they were over. She has moved on and smiles about her luck in love ... At the hospital Aiden has had his fractured finger bandaged. He hears Stefano will soon be sleeping from his medication and steals into the Salem patient's private room ... Aiden once again hounds Stefano for his payment. Stefano once again blows off the gambling addict and leers he must have lost his wife's fortune. Aiden gets testy and tells him not to talk about his wife. Then he hears a nurse and hides in the closet ... Chad and Abigail sit across from Marlena in a formal manner. Chad confides the cops are after him cos of the circumstantial evidence but he cannot remember. He suspects he is being set up. Marlena deduces he does not really know if he is innocent ... Kayla cannot deny to Hope that she is still attracted to Steve, though she is doing her darnedest to fight it ... Wide-eyed Abigail implores Marlena to help Chad. Chad agrees to let her share anything damning with the cops if that is what comes out in his session. Marlena will do it but Abigail cannot be present. Abigail whispers good luck and leaves as silently as she came ... Marlena starts to close the blinds and softly suggests Chad relax. Knock knock! Tis Detective Rafe... Abi ambles through the square and sees all her calls from Ben. She is about to leave for the club when Will greets her, carrying Ari. He wonders whether she has spoken with Chad about the trouble he is having. Abi is tight lipped and hastily excuses herself. Will stares after her, sensing a secret ... Aiden gets the house keys from Stefano's coat pocket. The nurse is summoned away. The Salem patient is fast asleep ...Abigail races to the club, where big Ben is waiting ...Aiden gets into the DiMera mansion and searches the study wearing white gloves. He steals a check and also pockets a document bearing the signature he will be needing. His phone rings ... Chad is concealed in the closet. Marlena gives Rafe a brief moment. He asks her for her professional assistance. She claims she is too busy but agrees to go over what he had and get back to him. Rafe leaves. Chad comes out of the closet ... Patchman paces at the park. He now gets a call from an old contact Monika, who knew Bo and Patch in the old days. They speak a few words of German and then switch to English. Steve wonders whether she has seen Bo. YES! ... Aiden is at the station again when he gets another call ... Rafe has big news at the station and Will arrives with Ari, having been notified. Enter GABI, who is free at last. Will and Rafe are thrilled. Gabi emotionally holds her little girl ... Steve ends his Hamburg call and rushes to Kayla, explaining Bo got a lift on an old contact's boat to board a freighter on the North Sea! Kayla is against Steve going after the lead, feeling it could be false hope. He asks if she would want him to come back if he did not find Bo. She says no. But he does not believe her ... As Aiden meets Hope at the house, prisoner Bo's nightmare intensifies. He has been shut out of the house and knows she is in danger inside. He wakes up with a start and reaches for his tray, trying to make himself strong enough to come home ... Abigail is back with Ben at the club. She glosses over where she had gone and hugs him, assuring him she is here now. Her eyes are filled with worry for Chad while Ben's eyes are filled with suppressed rage ... Chad is sitting in the dark. Marlena softly suggests he focus on his breathing, close his eyes. And so it begins ... THE END! Ahead on Days: HYPNO-CHAD! |
