These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the park, Abi and Chad stand transfixed. He slowly picks up her fallen phone and is sorry he spooked her. She gasps she is surprised. He admits he just returned to town and was planning to call but was at a loss for words. She is more beautiful than ever and it feels good to see her. She is also glad to see him and stares at him with her doe eyes. He admits he was not sure how she would feel. She realizes he intends to stay. She stammers and gets breathy about having to go. He mutters she is meeting … Ben! Abi’s eye flicker. Chad sits down with a sigh. Ben is a lucky guy. He has been away for almost a year and it seems much has changed. Abi sits on the bench beside him, interested in what he has been doing. He traveled and never forgot the mistake he made. He loved her so! She cries it was the past. He confesses he could not bear the thought of losing her, hence those miscalculated manipulations. She stands up with a gasp and would rather not discuss. Chad stands up as well and suddenly snaps perhaps she prefers to discuss her affair with his brother! He read the almost graphic account in Will’s article. Abi gasps did he talk to EJ? Even better, he attacked him. Abi insists he was not entirely to blame … Chad bitterly berates her for sleeping with the one person that would have hurt him the most and insists it was intentional! He cannot stop thinking of the pair of them together! He suspects she even imagined she was with EJ when she chose Chad to be her first lover. He rages and hopes he was worth waiting for, that he was that much better in bed. Abigail is aghast and slaps him across the face. Chad freezes. At the square, Hope gets off the phone with Ciara as Kayla arrives asking about Aiden. They sit with coffees and Kayla seeks an update. Hope admits she was curt but it was the best thing to do. She decides her feelings for Aiden have more to do with BO than actually Aiden. Dr. Kayla gets paged back to the short staffed hospital, though she quickly questions whether Hope was right to dismiss her undeniable attraction. At the club, Nicole confers at a table with attorney Aiden. She asks him to sue Kristen for ruining her relationship with Eric. It was alienation of Eric’s affection all because of Kristen! Aiden explains they were not married and she would be put under scrutiny. Nicole notes it was all her fault and she should be jailed! Aiden muses she is still hopelessly devoted to the fallen father, still deeply in love. She does not deny it. At the pub., Eric comes across a photo of Nicole in his collection and imagines them making crazy love on the table. Caroline brings him back to reality and emotionally praises him for putting back the pieces of his life. He is feeling rather lost. Caroline knows John could wake up thanks to him letting go of his desire for justice. Eric gasps he is trying to move on. It is not easy, though. He soon has another hot and wild fantasy about making love to Nicole. At the hospital, Dan asks Paige whether JJ is still at that party … Eve is sipping her wine and sighing about the delay. She paid well! Where is the proof! … Jill is trying to get a realistic picture of herself with shirtless JJ. He is out cold and it is not easy. Her photographer friend thinks it looks staged. Jill gets an idea and makes it look like he is taking the picture of them kissing, arm outstretched. She now sends a text from JJ to Rory about scoring, though “accidentally” sends the texted pic to Paige! Back at the hospital, Paige asks Dan about his date with Jen. The medicine man gets morose about his and Jen’s latest spat. He will only say it was not exactly a success. Paige is sorry. Dan heads off to check if the x-rays are ready. Paige gets the picture texted to her of JJ kissing the blonde and gasps in horror. OH MY GOD! Mary Beth returns, her arm miraculously better, and asks her ashen friend what is the matter. Back in the woods, Rory’s brother comes across wasted JJ on the bench, now with his shirt on. He gets him out of there fast, as the police are crashing the party. He appreciates that he called him to come and get his wasted brother too. To return the favor, he drops off JJ at his house. It is just when Dan arrives at the front door for Jen. Dan knows the signs of drug use, blasts him for falling back to his bad ways, which could crush Jen, and hauls him to his place to get to the bottom of the matter. Nicole and Aiden start to make silly small talk at the club. Hope enters and quips they cannot get enough of each other! Nicole thanks Aiden and slinks out in her sexy blue cocktail dress. Hope casts her a dirty look. She assumes they were amusing themselves at her expense again. He explains it was business. She is sorry she interrupted. He doubts it and notes she was acting jealous. Hope wants to clear the air outside once and for all … Eve now has the pictures and update from Jill at the apartment. Eve thinks he cheated. Jill admits there was an alteration to the plan as the target wanted no alcohol and only had eyes for Paige. He will recover, however. Eve does the math. Jill wants her to pay up before she gets that bus out of Salem. … Mary Beth wants her friend to dump JJ the loser for his locker room incident. Paige gets peeved at her lack of support and sympathy and storms off … At Dan’s pad, JJ points out he drank only soda. Dan points out something potent was in his system. JJ deduces he was drugged! It could have been accidental. He could have taken a sip from the wrong drink, assuming it was his. Dan decides he believes him and wants him to have secret tests at the hospital. Once JJ is with Dan at the hospital, Paige speaks with him from the square and gets sarcastic about the girl he was with. She saw the photo as he accidentally texted it to her! Is he in bed with the blonde now? JJ tries to explain. She never wants to see him again. Click! JJ now sees the picture on his phone as Dr. Dan enters. He is utterly horrified. Mary Beth smugly tells Eve that she was right about JJ, cos he cheated on Paige! Eve anxiously ask her to say nothing to Paige about it and gets her to go. Alone again, she assures herself this was for her daughter’s own good … Paige returns to the party but there is no one there except Abe, who solemnly states there were drugs circulated so the party was disbanded. Paige gets worried about JJ. Abe notices. Nicole finally finds Eric alone in the pub and walks in. He wishes she had kept going. Nicole wants to discuss the sacrifice he made for John and begs the belligerent one to accept her assistance, her emotional support … Abigail cries she did not mean to hurt Chad. However, he has no right … Ben appears and Chad politely introduces himself. Ben asks Abi if the guy is bothering her. Chad gets sarcastic about her new knight in shining armor, reminds him there are too many unsavory types in Salem to leave such a beautiful girl alone, and walks out of view. Abigail is a wreck. Ben is very worried … Nicole cries it kills her that Eric insists on shutting her out! She asks to at least tell her about the photos he wants to sell online. He gets bitter about not being able to be a priest and having trouble making ends meet. He realizes she has been purchasing some of his pictures … Hope admits she has been in denial. There is an attraction, though there is nothing simple about the situation. Aiden understands she loves Bo and her feelings for him pale in comparison. Hope sighs that is not it … Eve acts surprised when Paige comes home crying about the party … JJ does not remember. Dan shows him the name of the potent drug that was placed in his system. JJ suspects he was set up ... Ben sits with his arm around upset Abi on the bench and refers to her ex boyfriend as a jerk. She gasps she hurt him bad. Ben believes she can do no wrong. Abi decides she is not in the best shape for a date tonight and he gallantly offers to walk her home. Chad reappears and stares after the happy couple … Eric rages at Nicole not to buy his photos anymore. There can be no connection between them! Nicole cries the photos are all she has left of him and bolts … Hope laments she loved Bo and they were together as teens, made a family, but then he left for a secret mission. That was then, this is now and now their future seems foggy. His abandonment of her and Ciara angers her. Aiden understands. She sadly concludes her attraction for Aiden might be the result of her wanting to lash out at Bo. Aiden reaches for her. Hope apologizes again and runs off in a state … Paige cries and excuses herself to bed. Eve acts surprised. The banshee in the background smugly sings. Eve is convinced she did the right thing and her daughter is better off without that boy … Dan assures JJ the cops could catch the criminal and make them pay! JJ has his reservations. He updates Dan on the girl he was presumably kissing in the picture. He wants to sleep on it and implores him not to tell his mom. Dan will drive him home and assures the boy on bail he believes him. JJ is most grateful. Now to make Paige believe in his innocence … THE END AHEAD ON DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Chad reaches out to Kate. JJ states his case! |
