ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Link Only! STORMY Tuesday, September 15, 2015 Episode 12,676 Beware of copycats. These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Hope smiles with Ciara at the square. She has news. Ciara senses it is about Aiden. Nearby, behind a tree, Aiden is also on the phone, assuring his contact all is going according to plan and he will have the promised payment soon ... Roman finally comes out to see JJ at the police station but not before Clyde comes in. Roman senses JJ wants to tell him something. JJ starts to stammer about Paige. Of course crooked Clyde interrupts with an update for the police. Just so happens he had been meeting with the college president who wished to thank him for a hefty donation and saw none other than Chad DiMera outside the dorm where Paige was killed. It happened that night. Roman appreciates the intel. Clyde tells JJ to TAKE CARE, gives him a knowing look, and leaves. JJ pretends he was just anxious to learn what was new on the Paige case cos he loved her. Roman is sympathetic then returns to his office. JJ sighs ... At the apartment, Abigail cries in horror over Ben tracking her every move with his "disgusting" app. His obsession frightens her! He demands she admit if she still loves Chad. She cries in denial and does not understand his obsession. Ben is bothered and belligerent. He explains he was worried cos he thinks Chad killed those two women and he does not want her to be next! Abigail makes him delete the disgusting app from both their phones. He does and shows her. In return, she agrees to try and stay away from Chad, though she knows he is no killer. They embrace and Abigail cries as they decide to start over, put this incident in the past ... At the mansion Stefano has toppled forward on his chess set, eyes closed. Chad accuses him of faking a heart attack. The phoenix gasps he cannot breathe. Chad finally gets this is not fake, this is a real medical emergency. He gets out his phone, puts an arm around his powerful father and shouts for HELP at the top of his lungs ... Aiden joins Hope and Ciara for the big announcement. But they must wait for Chase. Ciara scampers to the yogurt shop to find him. Hope and Aiden get lovey dovey. Joey happens by and Hope greets him, making the introductions. He grimaces when she mentions the family gathering together and snaps she is no longer family since she divorced Bo. Aiden assures him she is still very much a Brady but Joey just scowls and walks away. Hope sighs teenagers ... Dr. Kayla has Stefano on a gurney taken into a room. Chad is stressed his heart stopped beating briefly in the ambulance. Kayla explains these things happen sometimes and tries to make Chad relax. After a while, Chad gets an upbeat update on the condition of father phoenix. The next 48 hours are crucial so no stress please but thanks to his fast thinking, Stefano will make it! Chad blinks his blue eyes and steps in to see him. Steve has overheard and informs Kayla he hopes Stefano will be out on his ass a long time. Detective Rafe appears and drawls he has some questions to ask the illustrious patient. They have little sympathy for Stefano. There is too much bad blood ... Steve wants a word with Kayla in her office about their son. She grudgingly goes and they go over the subjects for school that must be chosen. Steve knows his son likes art but Kayla talks science. Steve suggests chemistry cos even though Joe hates science, he can never say he studied that subject ... Stefano is hooked up in bed but the Salem patient is alive. Chad enters and he emotionally tells his son YOU SAVED MY LIFE! Chad drawls that does not mean he forgives him. Stefano denies framing him and urges him to find out the truth on his own not only for himself but also for the FAMILIA ... JJ gets an order on his phone to meet at the docks now. He turns, only to find himself face to face with Eve, who gasps she wishes he had never been born. Then her Paige would be alive. JJ walks out without a word. Eve comes across D.A. Justin, who takes her into a private room. He sits her down and states he has a suspect. An arrest is imminent tough he cannot reveal a name. Eve implores him to stay with her a while. He is sorry and offers a referral to a grief counselor. Eve departs, downtrodden, alone in the world ... Steve cannot condone Kayla helping Stefano despite the fact that it is part of her job to help all patients but he praises her as an amazing woman, one with great caring. He likes the fact they could compromise over Joe's classes. Kayla, however, still believes he is dead wrong about Bo, who abandoned Hope ... Detective Rafe has questions for the Salem patient. Stefano sternly states from his bed that neither he nor his son did anything, they did not kill those women. Rafe thinks he would do anything for his son. Stefano gasps blood is blood! Rafe gets sarcastic and Stefano's machines go haywire. The nurse comes in and kicks Rafe out. Chad awaits outside the room and insists he is being set up. Rafe suggests they speak elsewhere and takes him to the park ... Jump Street JJ meets with big boss Clyde down at the dangerous docks. Crazy Clyde demands to know what he was doing at the station. JJ covers, claiming he was asking for an update on the case of his murdered ex-girlfriend, as one would expect. He insists he now knows Clyde did not do it on account of the evidence implicating Chad. Clyde growls they have got work to do, forget about Paige. Sad things happen in the world ... Rafe warns Chad that an arrest seems soon since the evidence is piling up. They now have a witness who saw him outside Paige's dorm and what was he doing there anyway? Silence. Chad states he is innocent. Rafe suggests he hurry up and figure out who the fiend framing him is. He will not be able to do much once he is behind bars ... Ciara returns to Hope and Aiden the charmer. Chase is presently playing a video game. Aiden assures Hope he will meet her at the hospital following the physicals ... Steve has no intention of giving up on the closest friend he ever had, who was closer to him than his own brother. Those letters were not from Bo and the fact that he ignored Hope's goodbye letter without a reply also makes him suspect foul play. Therefore, he feels the need to retrace Bo's steps ... Aiden wants a word with the Salem patient and convinces the nurse he needs to, as Chad's attorney ... Kayla exclaims he cannot be serious but Steve has never been more serious ... Clyde hands JJ a new burner and tells him this is their only method of communication effective immediately. The code is that he is calling about the cat. That is what JJ must always say. JJ agrees like a flunky. Clyde orders him to keep away from the station and the cops and departs. JJ's eyes are filled with determination ... Eve cradles her dead daughter's picture, smells her scarf,and then shrieks and trashes her apartment. She sobs she was her babbbbbyyyy and collapses to the floor, holding her picture close to her heart ... Abigail lets Ben hold her in bed but her eyes and the tears in them reflect her sorrow over not being able to see Chad anymore. She feels even worse when he shows her the keys to the house Clyde bought them but forces a smile. Ben gushes about the great life they will have as a family. Abigail. however, stares sadly into space ... Chad feels he has no way out. So he does what any cornered DiMera would do. At the quiet DiMera mansion, he opens his briefcase and moves books away from the safe hidden behind the bookshelves. He opens it with ease and gets out cash for his briefcase along with a passport ... Kayla loses her cool with Steve and accuses him of using Bo's absence as an excuse to go on another adventure! Enter the Hope, who has overheard ... Aiden looks down at sleeping Stefano and leers he had better not die until he has completed his mission and gets his money! Stefano opens his eyes and gives him a dark dark stare ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Abigail prevents Chad's great escape. Steve has something to explain. John looks into his history |
