There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At Kiriakis house, Theresa finds out her worst fear could come true. John could wake up from the coma courtesy of Kristen! She is shocked. Kristen smells a rat and demands she explain her strange reaction to the good news. Theresa gets shrill about not wanting John to wake up. Kristen watches her hyperventilate and wonders why the upset. Theresa is close to collapse ... Dangerous drums play at the dark park as EJ snaps why should he deal with or let Clyde live! Clyde does not do threats. EJ leers no games, or the consequences will be deadly! Clyde assures him he is on the level. He is in Salem for his kids. EJ notes they both hate him (EJ) so why would he wont to work for him? … Someone unseen sneaks into DiMera house and heads upstairs … then downstairs … then approaches the brazen portrait of Kate and Sami which recently replaced the portrait of Stefano … Nicole spies Eric from the pub window and goes inside. She would like some answers about John and the happenings at the hospital. Eric looks up from the photos he has been sorting through at his table. He is in no mood to talk … Brady and Marlena wait and watch at John’s hospital bed. The machine beeps a little differently. Brady hopes he is waking up. Dan warns there will be these brief reactions, though the process is sloooow. Brady is impatient. Dan decides to take him elsewhere for a coffee and conversation. Outside the room, Brady horrifies him by declaring Kristen’s return to Salem might have been the best thing! Meanwhile Marlena leans over the man she loves and vows not to let him go! She starts to send a text … Roman arrives and Marlena explains their son Eric made a major sacrifice. She feels he needs his da now. Done. Reliable Roman is en route to the pub … Eric states he knows not what Nicole means. She tells him what she knows. John was not transferred and there is some top secret activity going on. The fallen father reminds her he no longer confides in her and gives her the cold shoulder. She laments so be it, she will get her story from someone and tweet it to the world! Eric’s phone rings and he bids her sit down. She assures him she will not write unkindly of his clan. Eric will only say there could be good news, though it is too soon. She accuses him of not wanting to tell her and it makes her even more suspicious. Why she likes John too! Eric refuses to divulge and gets back to the photos he was sorting through. Nicole feels the frost and storms out as Roman enters. Papa Roman wonders what that selfless thing Marlena mentioned was. Eric’s eyes are filled with torment. Maggie is less than thrilled to see Madame Milbauer of hospital HR fame at the square. Anne stops her and starts to grill her about the hush hush hospital activity swirling around John Black. The redhead knows not and adds it is not their business. She waltzes off. Anne curses but refuses to give up on her investigation … Nurse Maxine assures Dr. Dan that she will text him if there is any change in the still sleeping Salem patient. Dan insists Brady come with him for a candid conversation. He intends to get through to him about Kristen the she devil and her less than altruistic agenda! Theresa screams Kristen is deceitful and came to prey on Brady, in one final frantic act of desperation. Kristen sarcastically asks why would she do such a thing? Theresa hisses she found out that Brady came to HER for comfort and they made love after he saw his almost bride. Eerie music plays. Kristen looks ready to pounce … Marlena notes to Maxine so far no change as John sleeps. Maxine points out medicine is one thing, love and faith are equally powerful. Marlena smiles knowingly. She then walks out of the room, only to be confronted by Nicole, who demands facts or else she will settle for rumors. The blonde ushers her off to discuss. Anne, now back at the hospital, sees her opening, and steals into John’s room … Dan takes Brady back to his place to enlighten him. Kristen is using John’s coma to benefit herself and get him back. She wants to save John and neutralize Eric in the same breath. Brady realizes for John to live, the case must die. He is appalled when Dan concludes Kristen will go free and will also be free to make moves on Brady. He feels terrible about Eric being the one who suffers because of Kristen all over again! He holds himself responsible and leaves to reach out to his beloved brother … Kristen is in denial. Theresa taunts Brady came back to her, the one he likes better and they almost set the sheets on fire! Hellcat Kristen rages she is a beech and starts to strangle her! Maggie rushes in and pulls her off … Kristen regains her composure and sees herself out. Maggie seeks an explanation. Theresa gasps about Kristen still being after Brady. She is a loooon and was lying about the miracle drug. She chants it cannot be! She now realizes Maggie thinks the mafia princess spoke the truth for once. She stammers it cannot be and continues to hyperventilate. Maggie offers to have Brady call her. She sees her to the door and hands her her glittery purse. Outside, Theresa gets a text from Anne, who orders her to meet at town square. She bears big NEWS. Theresa gets a sinking feeling … Maggie now calls Dan and asks about the new drug rumor. Dr. Dan cannot discuss a patient. Maggie manages to let him know she will help Brady get through this troubling time if it is true the miracle drug came from Kristen. Dan thinks that would be wise. She is proud and tells him so. He, however, feels it could still be premature … Roman has heard Eric’s story and disagrees with his decision. There must be justice! Eric insists this is what he wants so Roman must reluctantly accept it. He now asks about the photos. Eric explains he hopes to launch a website with his world travel photos for sale. Roman remains angered that Kristen robbed him of the priesthood and departs. Brady now arrives and praises Eric for the sacrifice he made to save John. He thanks him profusely and they emotionally embrace. Clyde points out EJ had a fling with Ben’s new girlfriend, not to mention his big sis is protective of her little brother. That would explain the hostility of his keeeds toward him. He, on the other hand, is not a man who mixes business with family. EJ stares coldly. Clyde reasons he knows he had him checked out and must know by now that he is far removed from law enforcement. He seeked him out cos he is successful at what he does. As the competition, though, he could be steppin on EJ’s toes. Clyde cackles. EJ stares darkly. After Marlena has enlightened her about John’s possible return from the land of the eternal sleep, Nicole wonders why the long face. Cos said drug came from Kristen DiMera ... Knock knock! Dan opens his apartment door to Kristen, who rages about the repulsive lying tramp and storms inside. Dan tries to kick her out. She yells did he give John the drug?? He did. Does Brady know? Yes, he does, and Dan also made him understand how she used it to make Eric withdraw his testimony. She primly powders her nose and gets back to the topic of Theresa, who had the audacity to claim she was sleeping with Brady. Dan slowly shakes his head. Horror of horrors, Kristen now knows it to be TRUE! At the dark park, EJ gives Clyde one week to prove his worth. If he sees a substantial profit, he might consider working with him. However, he warns him not to try and contact him directly again. Country Clyde drawls that is fair. EJ quips there is nothing fair about him and saunters off into the darkness. Clyde’s snake eyes narrow … At the square, Anne eats ice cream and updates Theresa on John’s miracle drug. Theresa takes off in a tizzy … Nicole is stunned by the sacrifice Eric felt compelled to make. Brady will be pursued by Kristen all over again and poor Eric will have lost yet again! Nicole suggests she and Marlena join forces to bring Kristen down. Marlena coldly informs her they will NEVER work together. Nicole gets it. She hid the proof from Eric. The blonde lets her know that is it exactly. And she and Eric are both officially done with her! Exit indignant Marlena. Outside the pub, Brady assures his brother he is done with Kristen the psycho. Eric is relieved. Brady is heading home for a photo album that might jog John’s memory. The brothers agree to meet at the hospital. Brady repeats how much he hates Kristen for what she did to him. EJ is at the dark DiMera front door as he muses to Miguel on his phone that Clyde must be tailed for the entire week. He enters and notices a note on lilac paper but before he can read it, someone punches him in the jaw. EJ groans and topples to the side. He knows who that is. CHAD. Little brother announces he is home with a wicked grin. Nicole unhappily leaves the hospital as Marlena hugs unhappy Eric ... Theresa returns to the house of Kiriakis. Brady is busy and tries to blow her off. She gasps there is something he has got to know ... Kristen is incensed. Dan taunts it seems Brady really has moved on. Kristen considers herself the lesser of two evils, for Theresa dragged him back to his addictions. And that’s not all! She was utterly terrified at the thought of John waking up, never mind how John or Brady felt about the matter. It now dawns on her what really happened. It was her! Dan breaths what the hell … The she devil dramatically declares it was not Brady who put John in his coma, it was Theresa the terrible ...! THE END |
