There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Violins play in the background as Sami and EJ emotionally embrace after his sweet kiss. She cries and clutches him. Their wedding rings sparkle. Enter zebra print Kate, who hisses she hopes this changes nothing! Sami pretends it was about the kids. Kate brings up what EJ did. EJ acts innocent. Kate doubts Rafe was able to get that evidence against Stefano on his own. The timing was too convenient! EJ solemnly states fatha will return after a while and then they will have to deal with his rage! Sami suggests they think of a way to handle him. EJ supports her and steps away for a call. That is when Kate flies at Sami for almost sleeping with the enemy. She cannot believe it! Sami is sheepish. Kate accuses her of letting EJ manipulate her. She gets vulgar. Sami would rather not remember Abigail. Kate urges her not to forgive! Sami states at least she would be happy, not alone and miserable like HER! Outside the closed living room doors, EJ is on his phone getting the facts on Clyde. He learns he is legit and decides on a meeting. He intends to show him who is in charge! Dangerous music plays. EJ now calls fatha to inform him Raphael got that evidence on his own and unfortunately it is solid. Stefano knows. EJ thinks now would not be the right time to return to Salem. The phoenix chuckles knowingly. How very convenient for Katarrrina and Samantha! Hope is still daydreaming of Aiden’s kiss on the church steps when someone interrupts. Tis Kayla, who offers to talk. Hope gets down from the stony steps and flounces off with her confidant … Aiden notices Nicole the devil with the blue dress at the square, on the move like a woman on a mission. She has an interview and he knows it is with Mark Newman, his client whom he already warned to avoid her! Nicole is livid to hear it. Aiden points out he is his client now and questions her. Nicole the reporter acts indignant. Aiden is amused. The attorney is aware she intended to link Newman to an oil story – at least try and make a connection between him and the oil story. There is no link! Nicole confesses the producer put her up to it. They are both in a lousy mood and she impulsively invites him for a drink. Aiden admits he acts idiotic when he drinks so no alcohol. She laughs even when he does not drink his behavior is idiotic ... Jen daydreams of smooching up a storm with Dan at his door. But reality bites and the reality when she gets to his door is that he wonders why she is even there! He had assumed they would meet at the club. She was hoping to see Parker but Dan will not comply. The girl in the white dress gives him a woeful look. He explains it would be best to go slow and keep his boy out of it. Jen is hurt that her kids get to see Parker when they babysit but not her! Dan explains Parker could get confused. They know not how things will go and his boy loves her. Jen gets paged to the hospital. Dan is sorry. She is too and walks away. She claims she will call him later for that coffee but he has his doubts. At the pub, JJ pushes for the party. Paige agrees and tells him not to be mean when he bashes Mary Beth the buzzkill. Paige suspects a lot of college girls will have their eye on her guy and says so. JJ suavely states if it is a dull party, they can leave together. Mary Beth and Rory come by and Mary Beth decides to join the gang at the party. JJ says NO WAY! Paige the all American nice girl is aghast. Mary Beth stares him down. JJ wants a word with his girl. Miffed Mary Beth steps away and Rory teases her for stirring things up. She calls that a drug metaphor. Rory thinks that’s pretty cool. Meanwhile, Paige wants JJ to give her good friend a chance. JJ numbly agrees. She kisses him and goes to class, breezily assuring Mary Beth they will talk soon. JJ now demands to know the real reason Mary Beth wishes to attend. She dares him to GUESS. Eve advises the working girl to pose as a college student for one night and go after JJ at the party! The pretty girl is ready to play. And so the game of seduction is planned. At least that is what blondie believes. Eve warns her the lad is in love, which makes him a tough target. She blackmails blondie to do her mysterious bidding and blondie starts to worry she might actually expect her to hurt JJ ... At the square, Nicole enjoys her wine and makes a joke about Aiden’s non alcohol. She unburdens her soul about her trust problem with Eric. He wonders whether they were meant to be. She quips that is Marlena talk. Aiden sighs sometimes two hearts are not right for one another. She knows he is referring to Hope! Aiden drinks up … At the club, Hope updates Kayla on Aiden’s admission, her silly attempt to set him up with Jennifer. Then they argued and he KISSED her! Kayla grins did she kiss him too? Hope gasps and regrets it. Kayla reminds her Bo is unreachable. She advises her to start with honesty with Aiden. It is good she knows how he feels and how does Hope feel? She is torn! Kayla tells her not to feel guilty. And now work beckons. She advises her to tell Aiden how she feels … Aiden claims he and Hope are different people. Nicole quips she is a beeech and drinks up. Aiden had no idea Nicole had such a view. Nicole calls her judgmental, one who rejoices in her failure in love and life. Aiden did not realize she was on her radar, his voice oozing sarcasm. Inebriated Nicole insists she is and slurs she thinks she is more frowny face than the fancy face her hubby calls her. Aiden laughs at Nicole’s funny drunken rant. Hope appears beside their table, her eyes filled with hurt. Aiden gulps. Nicole goes on her way. Hope says really? Frowny face? Aiden explains she was drinking. Hope accuses him of laughing at her expense. Annoyed Aiden notes she is not keeping her distance as she had said she would … JJ heads to Dan’s apartment for advice on dealing with Paige’s pal, who is against him. Dan is sympathetic and they sit down. JJ complains about Mary Beth probably monopolizing Paige at the party tonight. She only remembers the guy he once was! Dan advises him to avoid any argument with the girl. Be the big person and Paige will be impressed. JJ thanks him for the pep talk and lets him know he is all for his coffee date with his mom. He wants them to work things out in the name of happiness. Dan the man appreciates it … Dr. Kayla asks Jen why she is back at work. Cos the coffee date with Dan did not happen. He did not want her near Parker either and she understands. However, she cannot conceal her hurt. Kayla tells her there is still tonight. Parker will be sleeping over chez Maggie. The time has come to take action! Jen gasps and realizes she is right. Eve denies wanting to harm JJ. All of a sudden she hears Paige returning! Blondie is sent to the other room. Eve enjoys her wine and wonders why the early return when her daughter enters. Paige explains her prof was not teaching the first day and announces she is off to a party tonight. Mischievous mama wishes her a fun time. Exit Paige. Eve and her partner in crime toast to sparing her of the same mistakes her mama once made … At the park, Mary Beth complains to Paige about JJ, who joins them and apologizes, Rory at his side. Rory grins when JJ admits he was a jerk. Mary Beth is speechless. Rory acts interested in Mary Beth and tries to find common ground, from books to tattoos. Alas no luck. Paige pulls JJ deeper into the park to give him a passionate kiss. Stefano vows REVENGE! EJ reminds him how much the kids love their Nono in an attempt to pacify him ... Kate claims to know what Sami is really thinking. Sami argues she got her revenge so why not give love a chance again? She does not want to be another Kate! Kate exclaims Stefano the madman is out to get them. EJ comes back and warns fatha intends to come back when possible. Stefano wants to save face. Kate calls it Sami’s fault for pushing Will to write the article. Sami thinks they need to fix that. Kate declares every woman for herself and bids her partner goodbye. Sami is flabbergasted… Kayla gets the file on the miracle drug for coma John … Dan ponders phoning Jen but Kayla calls first about the lab report he has got to see! She is bringing it right over … Hope has not changed her mind, especially since she thinks Aiden likes to ridicule her. She stands up, wishes Mr. Jennings a wonderful life, and walks away, her head held high … Eve stops shopping Jen in front of the pub and wants to talk. Jen suggests they act civil for their kids’ sake. Eve plays along, praising the pair for going out to their first college party together. Jen shrugs her shoulders and keeps going … At the park, JJ kiss his girl and notes they never have enough time alooooooone. He longs to SHOW her how much he loves her. Paige’s eyes widen … Rory now meets up with blondie at the park, who flirts and poses as a cute student going to tonight’s party … Kayla stands by Dr. Dan as he reads the report. This is it. John’s last chance … Sami gasps Kate is overreacting. They were supposed to be a team. EJ takes her hand and promises to protect her from fatha. He deduces Kate tried to make her doubt his sincerity. She gasps she did indeed. However, this time she did not succeed. She gives him a heartfelt look and his eyes soften. Such is Ejami … THE END AHEAD ON DAYS OF OUR LIVES: EJ talks tough with Clyde!
