There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the apartment, writer Will is ready to listen to Chad, who gets a beer from the fridge and prepares for the hours ahead. He tells woeful Will he should not have expected more than discord from Sami about the article. He teases him about mommy. Will suspects EJ will have a similar reaction. Chad has plenty to say about Sami making the mistake of taking EJ back! Will notes her love is her business and wishes Chad would not refer to her as stupid. He suggests Chad roll with his mom’s outlandish comments as well. That is what he does. Chad, however, refuses to ever forgive EJ. He hates him more than anyone! Will points out he is still his brother. Chad gets bitter and sarcastic. He would NOT take a bullet for that guy again. In fact, nowadays no one would! Will does not want to report on Chad’s uncensored anger and repeats EJ is still his brother. Irate Chad insists he have his say. If Will does not write what he says, then someone else will! He suggests he get back to him with his decision and arrogantly departs ... Caroline enters the mansion and requests a word alone with Sami. Sami shuts the living room doors, leaving EJ and Eric out. Caroline demands to know what is going on. Sami pauses. She had not known Eric would blab about her and EJ. Woman in red Caroline wants woman in red Sami to share her reasons for the reconciliation. Sami emotionally explains they are deeply in love. Yes he cheated and people know and they also know of her revenge but he gets it. They promised each other a new start. Caroline notes DiMeras make maaaaany promises. Sami argues EJ earned his forgiveness and she could not fight the feeling. She loves him. Caroline comprehends. Sami gushes they are gonna make this work. Caroline reminds her of all the pain he caused. Sami cries her love got covered by her rage. But the time came to let go. Then the love came flowing forth and they talked. He never stopped loving her and was sorry for his indiscretion. He would even take it back if he could. Caroline screams you cannot take it back and she should know! Sami reminds her grandpa Shawn forgave her for her indiscretion. Caroline sits at the table and sighs she spoke to Victor recently. He advised her not to be so judgmental about the happiness of others. She weeps she will pray for both EJ and Sami, then smiles EJ can spend his life making this up to her. They share a happy highly emotional embrace. Outside, EJ thanks Eric, who explains he is only supporting them for sister Sami. EJ now thanks him for wot he did for HIS sista. It is a bold comment. He acknowledges she put him thru hell but then he made the selfless move to get John well again and let things be. Eric accuses him of pretending to turn over a new leaf to get Sami back. EJ assures him he is sincere. Eric doubts that. Besides, he only came to the house to bring his grandmother and he will be back again to see his sister and the kids sometimes. All he cares is how EJ treats his twin and he had better treat her right. EJ agrees wholeheartedly. Clyde and his mountain man confer at the park. They have an arranged meeting with Miguel, who works for EJ. Clyde orders Jeremiah the mountain man mafia to hand him a bag of cash. Miguel sees the money and is astounded they went against the wishes of the DiMera mafia. Theresa the terrible runs into Dr. Dan at the hospital and he flashes back to Kristen’s offer to team up to take her down. Theresa snaps she spoke to John and they are good so he had better not make her mad by theorizing! Inside his room, John announces he remembers well what happened. Brady wonders if he is ready. Marlena stands up and asks Kristen to leave but John says she stays. Kristen is riveted. John murmurs he must ... be sure ... Marlena offers to find a doctor. He thinks that would be wise in case there are questions. She will get Daniel. He adds another name to his list … Marlena now opens the door of his private room and informs Dan as well as Theresa that John wants to see them both! Theresa freezes in fear. Dan steps in and soap stares. John explains he asked Kristen to stay. Brady joins Marlena in trying to get Theresa to enter the room. She gasps no. Dan admits he does not get John’s reasoning. John explains this would not have been possible without Kristen. He also asked Dan here so there will be no questions about his state of mind … Theresa stammers but Marlena insists she come and join John, who wants to talk about that fateful night. Brady presses her too and so she follows him inside. Kristen flashes her a sarcastic smile. Theresa gets a sinking feeling. She had not been expecting Kristen ... Crafty Clyde wants Miguel to understand how much more money can be made with that extra territory. Miguel argues this money was not anticipated by EJ and he did not approve it. He walks off with the cash and Clyde admits he is waiting to see what the next move will be ... Back at DiMera mansion, EJ proudly presents Caroline with a family picture by artist Johnny. Eric stands by his twin. EJ wonts to say something but Caroline would prefer to stick to safe subjects. She kisses him briefly, hugs Sami again, and exits with Eric. Sami closes the door with a smile. EJ raises his eyebrows and wonders how it went. Caroline wants her to be happy. He says the same of Eric and is grateful for the family support. Sami now gives him the bad news. Chad the cad is giving an interview to Will! She reposes on the luxurious sofa and complains. EJ pours the water. Sami is highly stressed about Chad going public and Will enabling him. Will even ordered her to mind her own business and kicked her out! EJ is amused, then steals a kiss before … he promises to be back soon and charmingly exits. Sami sighs. She waits a while and then gets going to make some noise but runs into Chad at the front door. She lets him have it and he grins. Will is not surprised to see EJ at his door. EJ praises the party decorations and wants a word before the party. Will assures him that he and Sonny are happy to have him and Sami in their home anytime. However, he cannot be told what to do by Sami. EJ agrees he should write the article as planned. He can take the hit and wants to keep the peace for Samantha’s sake. Will is stunned. EJ muses things could not be any worse anyway. However, there are conditions attached. To keep Abi’s name out of it and be mindful of his mother’s feelings. Already done! EJ now promises young Will he will never hurt his motha again and urges him not to do anything to give her grief. He exits and Will wonders. Theresa is troubled by Kristen’s presence. John drawls he asked for her to be here. This is going to be BIG. Dan confirms he is of sane mind. John suddenly decides he also needs someone from the police department present. Kristen wants to make that call! Theresa cringes. Roman is in the building! Dan is mighty impressed by John’s miraculous memory and recovery. John notes Theresa was holding back, however. He remembers how she claimed after that night she was there for Brady. She starts to stammer. Bewildered Brady asks what he means. He means a situation, something that involved Brady, him, and Theresa. Dan stands by Kristen, who takes it all in, triumphant. For a brief moment in time, she and Dan are on the same page … Roman arrives. John wants to get Theresa and Brady’s statements about that night. Roman sits at his side with his ipad, ready to share. Kristen taunts terrified Theresa about the wonders of technology ... Eric escorts Caroline back to the pub. She now wants to know how things are with the other twin and tells him not to hold back. He replies his focus is the family. She mentions Nicole and the church. Eric suggests it is too soon for him to find himself. She hopes for his happiness. He is still tormented by how he trusted Nicole and she let him down. Caroline suggests there could still be someone special out there for him. The fallen father considers … Chad gets sarcastic and pours himself a drink. Sami states Stefano’s fury is no joke. Chad brazenly berates her for falling back into bed with his big bad brother. Everything is HER fault! She set things in motion when she cornered EJ. That led him to betray Stefano, but Stefano’s revenge is going to be all her fault! Sami counters Chad put her and the kids at risk. EJ could kill him for threatening them! Chad downs his drink and denies the charge. She leers he is out of his league. Chad stands up, having had enough of stormy Sami, and opts to go for a walk to get some fresh air, clear his head … EJ arrives outside the house. That is when he gets a call from Miguel about Clyde going against his orders. The boss just needs to say the word! EJ grimaces. Clyde creeps behind Miguel at the park and dangerously observes … Roman reads aloud the statements in question. He reads that Brady only remembered coming back from Vegas with Theresa. Next he reads Theresa’s statement. She heard John attacking Brady as they argued at the house, at which time Brady grabbed the poker and hit John across his head in self-defense. Marlena slowly asks if that is the way John remembers it. John gives Theresa a hawkish look. THE END IS NEAR! AHEAD ON DAYS: The stage is set for a shocking shooting! |
