Kayla, Hope, Victor and Maggie wait for a sign after Salinas gives Caroline the untried untested magical serum that could make or break her. They all hope for the best but the clock is ticking. Hope and Maggie convince dismal Kayla to take a walk for some fresh air with Maggie. Outside the room Hope calls unseen unheard Rafe and updates him. She also asks him to speak with the DiMera servants since one might be willing to make a deal in the hunt for Chad. She is grateful for Rafe’s well wishes and ends the call feeling alone, until Aiden sweeps in in his suit and gives her a heartfelt hug. He offers to do anything she needs and assures her she is not alone … Unbeknownst to Clyde, JJ is actually in the process of setting him up. He is down at the docks with his phone on as Roman listens over at the police station. JJ talks tough and talks Kyle. Between threatening to kill him and demanding they stick to business, Clyde stops short of admitting any wrongdoing where Kyle is concerned. Roman asks Officer Lani to trace the call. The docks. Roman wants the cops down there but without sirens. He takes off, intending to move in when the time is right … Steve sees a peephole in the barbaric underground prison where Bo was once held. It leads him to an office, where he sits and watches footage of Bo appearing to be stabbed and placed in a body bag, dragged away like a dead man. Steve believes what he sees and breaks down for the friend he feels was lost … But in reality prisoner Bo is at the mercy of an evil doctor who is after the formula for the secret serum. The dastardly doc declares this is the day he talks or DIES. He prepares to administer a double dose to the seemingly unconscious Bo Brady who is still strapped to a bed … Back in Salem, Victor sits at Caroline’s side and urges her to fight her way back. The previously shown scenes of Caroline being there for Kayla and Steve when their baby was born are now replaced by scenes of Caroline and dashing Victor in the old days, when Bo their son was consummated. Back to reality. The Greek gushes he loved her and is grateful for their son … Maggie and Kayla confer on a park bench surrounded by beautiful flowers. Kayla questions her decision to agree to the unconventional treatment. Maggie assures her she was right to try and save her mother. The flowers seem to grow brighter because something wonderful is in the air … JJ just will not give up and tells Clyde what he could do for him as the second in command … Aiden has been listening to a report on Chad the DiMera who disappeared on the radio. He removes his earplug and innocently asks Hope if there is anything new. Hope wonders whether Chad mentioned where he might vanish. Aiden replies no and adds Stefano fired him as his attorney too. However, he would love nothing more than to find him himself … Caroline is having memories of Bo but then has a vision of his torture as it happens. She cries his name and sits up. Salinas gives her something to calm her at Victor’s request. Hope, who has just bid Aiden goodbye, races in … At the same time of Caroline’s distress, the evil doctor holding Bo exclaims he is in cardiac arrest! Bo writhes and writhes and then does what any soap hero would do in such a situation – HE JUMPS UP AND FIGHTS BACK! JJ provokes Clyde by getting cocky so Clyde grabs him by the collar and threatens him again … Kayla and Maggie return. Kayla fears the worst. Salinas steps away to get blood tests done and confirms Caroline may have slipped into a coma. Steve soon arrives and Victor meets him outside the room. Steve gets emotional about the footage he viewed of what he believes was a very dead Bo being dragged away in a body bag. That was what he found in that underground cell at the Mexican monastery. He is so sorry. Victor gets choked up. Steve informs him the bad guys were after the serum. Victor is not surprised but never imagined his son would die saving Caroline. He asks him to say nothing to anyone just yet … Inside the room a veritable miracle has happened. Caroline is wide awake! She shares her worries about Bo, for she saw him with a heavy beard and he was shackled. She hopes he is alright. Kayla believes it was a bad dream. Steve and Victor, now inside, exchange a knowing look … Clyde has listened to JJ’s ideas on distribution for drugs and tells him he will call him. Commissioner Roman and a uniformed cop come out of the shadows as Roman shouts POLICE FREEZE! TURN AROUND! Clyde gives Jump Street JJ a murderous look and leers he set him up. Roman has Clyde cuffed and arrests him for conspiracy to sell controlled substances. JJ is silent. Clyde is still staring at him with murderous intent … Hope notices the stressed silence about Steve … Meanwhile prisoner Bo is in a rage like never before. He fights a thug and zaps him, having already overpowered the evil doctor, who cowers in the corner, beaten and bloodied. Bo approaches. The evil one claims it was only business. Bo punches him unconscious, then rages I AM GOIN HOOOOOOME! He means it too. Shirtless Bo is Salem bound … THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Will gets too close for his own good. Aiden hits back at Clyde. The DiMeras are determined to defend Chad. Chad has Abigail on the brain again! Ooooo |
