There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At Horton house, Jen complains to colorful Julie about JJ’s woes. She realizes Eve impressed Julie with her singing way back in the day. She asks her to speak some sense into Eve and convince her JJ is a good guy. New improved Julie suggests her yoga class for some Zen. Jen suggests words instead. Julie gushes she is great at words and goes to get to it … Bitter Bev taunts Paige at the town square café about bad boy JJ’s cheating ways! Paige primly defends him. Bev notes JJ is a chick magnet so there will be more such problems and haughtily departs … JJ sits with Kayla at the pub for a chat. She wonders. He remembers what Paige overheard and gets serious. He starts to stammer about Paige so Kayla points out she has no issues with her despite the fact that evil Eve is her mother. Paige is a sweet girl, in her mind. JJ stammers and stares and loses his nerve to jump into what Jack did. He takes off in a tizzy … Woman in red Sami sweetly summons Chad to the town gate. She hopes to chat about his brother with him. Chad refuses. Sami stops him from leaving and rehashes their history, how Chad took a bullet for him. Chad points out how different things would have been had he not taken that bullet. She assures him she is sorry for his pain. He quips was that why she emailed him the article Will wrote?! He is relieved she did, though. It made Chad realize what kind of a chump EJ was. Sami is sympathetic and claims to comprehend. Chad snaps EJ showed him his gratitude by sleeping with the woman he loved. Sami grows impatient and snaps back EJ forgave Chad so why oh why can’t he forgive him! Chad leers he has not known EJ for long and would not even miss him for a Salem second if he vanished forever. He storms off and Sami sighs. EJ calls Stefano from the mansion and lets fatha know that Victor enlightened him. The phoenix growls he will DESTROY him once and for all! EJ talks Sami and Kate but Stefano is enraged mainly by his son’s brazen betrayal! EJ denies any betrayal on his part. Stefano snaps no more lies. HE knows everrrrrything he did! It is his fault he is a fugitive! EJ blames Rafe for finding the evidence. Stefano chuckles he knows for a fact that HE handed it over! EJ stands in the sunlight cascading down on the open DiMera garden door and reasons he had no choice for fatha threatened Samantha! Stefano rages he sold him down the river for his HO! EJ will not tolerate such talk of his beloved. Stefano taunts the adulterer for his own immoral ways ... Marlena is at the club with Brady, insisting he steer clear of Kristen, not thank her as he has suddenly suggested! She reasons the she devil had ulterior motives and really just wants Brady back. He quietly replies he already knows. She blinks in bewilderment. Does he want to get back together with her as well? Brady the love addict insists he is disgusted by her but still he should do the right thing, which would be to thank her ... At his apartment, Dan confirms to Kristen he suspects Theresa, since she acted guilty as sin and threatened him. Kristen leers they should team up to destroy her with a vengeance! Dan exclaims there is a lack of proof. Therefore they can do nothing. Kristen declares she is a doer, unlike him and his armchair attitude. She thanks him for the intel but he stops her from leaving in order to lay down the law of Daniel Jonas. If she concocts some crazy story without proof, even against Theresa, he will expose her! Kristen now gets a text from her amazing attorney about all her charges being dismissed. She feels like she is on a roll of good fortune … The sitter returns with Parker, who got star of the week at school. Dan lifts him up and tickles him. Pumped Parker giggles. Kristen is a touched. She calls Dan a lucky dad, Parker precious, and excuses herself. Dan loves his little man to pieces and kisses him silly. Out in the hall, Kristen gets a call from Brady, who wants to meet her alooooooooone. Her cat eyes narrow … JJ later shows up at Dan’s place. He made Paige a copy of the key as the medicine man suggested too but something is bothering him … Paige meets Kayla at the pub and asks her about how she got into medicine. Jack - JJ’s father – was a patient who suggested she make the leap from private nursing to medicine. Paige would love to hear all about Jack. She assumes he was just like JJ. Kayla gets uncomfortable until duty calls. An accident gives her the excuse she needs to cut the conversation short and get back to work. Paige has no idea … John has just remembered THERESA DID IT! He gasps and presses the button for nurse Maxine. He seeks to distinguish between his memories and his imagination. He has a favor to ask of Maxine … Meanwhile Eve meets Theresa at the hospital in a dress of the same pattern and wonders what irks her now. Horror of horrors. John is getting his memory back! Eve urges her to breathe cos John has not indicated knowing anything. Theresa catches her breath and feels better – until Maxine appears and announces John Black is asking for her! Eve assures her sis it might not be so bad. At least she will learn how much the former father-in-law recalls. The guilty girl gingerly goes into his room. The Salem patient soap stares from his bed. Dangerous drums play. She stammers he looks well. He feels good and wants to tell her about his memories. He recalls … certain details about that fateful night! For example, he knows she was present when Brady … errrr … hit him. She admits she was there and adds they got an annulment. John solemnly states she was aware of what happened She insists she would have stopped the fight had she seen it from the start and would do anything to erase that night! He murmurs he is sure of that! Ominous music plays. He thanks her for filling in the blanks but now he must rest. She stands up and gets a pillow. She wishes she could suffocate him but places it behind his head instead, noting it would be nice for them to get along. John gasps he only has concern for his son. She gasps she gets it and leaves so he can rest. Outside his room, she tells herself he knows nothing! But inside John throws her pillow to the floor. He now knows for a fact it was Theresa who attacked him …! Marlena eventually enters and he implores her to get Brady here fast. His memory of what happened that night is back and he has got to tell him! Marlena thinks first there is something she should tell John … Kristen coyly opens her door to Brady and bids him enter. He is here to apologize. His father is awake and he owes her much. She gave them both their lives back and for that he thanks her. She gushes the pleasure was hers but she wonders what exactly John remembers ... JJ starts to unburden his soul to Dan. There were lots of ladies in his London days but Paige is different. Dan senses trouble. But he gets paged to the hospital due to the accident. Once alone, JJ sighs it will never be the right time to talk to Dan or even Paige about what Jack did … Julie appears at Eve’s apartment, gushing she is back in Salem! Eve calls her timeless and wonders to what she owes the pleasure. Julie asks if she is getting back to singing as her voice is a veritable gift. She has no more club but offers her any help. Eve appreciates it and will need to pay for her daughter’s Stanford tuition. Julie gets catty about all the money she got from suing Jen. At least singing again would give her less time to cause trouble for young lovers Paige and JJ! Eve has had enough and wants her to go. Julie warns her not to try and thwart young love but Eve begs to differ. Their fantasy will fizzle fast … Jen runs into Theresa at the nurse’s station and is suspicious of her sudden good mood. Theresa wants to talk Kristen DiMera! She knows they were once friends and complains she has been causing trouble for her on account of Brady. Jen muses she is no match for that one and walks away. Theresa tells herself Kristen has nothing on her. Neither does John … Chad refuses to ever forgive his brother in spite of Sami’s heartfelt plea. He dramatically declares EJ is DEAD to him! He walks away. Sami is dismayed … Meanwhile Stefano states at least Chad is his loyal son. EJ wonders wot that means. It means he is no longerrrr his son! Mafia music plays. Click! EJ now stands alone. Isolated … Until Chad saunters in, Then he calls him a son of a bitch! Chad appears amused. Marlena has something to tell John. It concerns Kristen … Brady believes John does not remember much about that night. But if he never sees her again, thanks. Kristen urges him to wait. He stops and observes her with his cool blue eyes … Paige shows up at Dan’s place and accuses JJ of not telling her about Jack’s connection to his aunt. JJ assumes the worst … Theresa leaves Brady a voice mail, wondering when the billionaire heir is coming back to the hospital to see John. Meanwhile Dan asks Maxine to have another doc cover his rounds. He agrees it is great news that John is getting his memory back, although … Marlena informs John that Kristen is back in town and Brady is meeting with her as they speak. John gasps in horror … Kristen coos it is not too late for her and Brady because they both made mistakes. She knows how his heart feels and moves in for the kill. Brady the love addict tries to fight the feeling … THE END! AHEAD ON DAYS: Sami cannot agree with Will's article! Paige feels shut out |
