There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... EJ informs Victor on the phone today is fine. They meet in an hour. Kate asks EJ where Sami is. Took the children to school and by the way he and Sami opted against the European deal. Kate demands her co-CEO call her. EJ asks when she packs her bags! Kate turns. SHE is moving out? He snaps he made it clear already. She counters she has a right to be here in the mansion legally, unlike him! She suggests he and Sami will be short lived not to mention he is facing tax evasion charges the company will not cover. She would never sign an agreement to save him with the funds. Dangerous music plays. EJ refers to her happily playing with Johnny whilst plotting against him. She thinks those children are better off without him anyway. He wonders why the animosity. She hisses because he is his father! He begs to differ. Ominous music plays as Kate scoffs he is equally callous and egotistical. EJ threatens to call a board meeting against her. Kate coos she had access to the books and will advise the board how much he and Stefano skimmed over the years. He will be OUT! EJ has no answer to that. To add insult to injury, she throws in he has two weeks to find another place to live and waltzes out. EJ grimaces. At the house of Kiriakis, Hope sits somberly with Victor and Maggie and turns down the coffee offer. She wanted to share something before she tells Ciara. Victor suspects it is serious. Hope gasps she is divorcing Bo! All she got was a note that his mission might take years. Victor and Maggie are sympathetic. Hope admits she also met Aiden. She wrote a dear Bo letter to her husband’s last return address and accused him of desertion. Ring ring! AA sponsor Maggie is on call and humbly steps away. Victor stops Hope from leaving and wants to talk. Aiden was a good attorney for JJ but all that matters is what Hope thinks. She thanks him and admits Caroline was not so easily convinced. Hope now gets choked up and excuses herself to the station but first says thanks. The Greek grins and invites her for dinner on the weekend. Maggie will be in touch. Once she goes, he curses. Nicole smiles as Chase approaches his dad at the square. Nicole is sitting with coffee so Chase wonders whether she is his big date! Aiden chuckles and Chase gets back to his friend. Nicole teases Aiden and suggests they catch up at the pub. He is not so sure. She teases him and notices Hope standing there, then smiles in understanding, wishing the pair a nice date. When she walks away, Aiden assures her no one is in the know. She whispers she has to tell Ciara soon. Aide wants to discuss them cos it gives him something to smile about. Hope flashes a wide smile, her eyes shining. Anne and Theresa dine at the pub and HR Anne notes she should be nervous about John and the big wake up! Theresa plays it cool and chows down. She feels the situation is under control as he has no memory of that night. Madame Milbauer warns the mortal memory can change on a Salem dime. Friends and family will be there to help fill in the blanks as well. Not a good scenario for her ... Dr. Dan gets a call from eager Kristen about John’s state. Dan blows her off for she is not family. Eric enters the medicine man's office and wonders what the she devil wanted to say or know about John. No one should speak to Kristen! Dan flashes back to Kristen’s claim that Theresa was the cause of John’s coma. Meanwhile John is slowing waking up from the sedative as Brady and Marlena peer at him in his room. John gasps and Brady asks what he recalls. John gives him an intense look. He remembers they argued … He also remembers Marlena was miffed at him when he returned to Salem. His main question is how and why is he in this hospital bed? Brady blinks. He wants a word alone. Marlena gushes she is glad to have him back and gives them their privacy. Brady sits at his side and confesses they fought and he knocked him out in his drunken high stupor. The choice of weapon was a poker. John slowly shakes his handsome head. YOU DIDN’T DO THAT! His boy would never do such a thing! Brady laments alas he did and is sooooo sorry … Meanwhile Marlena sweeps into Dan’s office, with the wonderful news of John’s amazing awakening. She and Eric embrace … Dr. Dan arrives at the Salem patient’s private room and Brady sighs John does not believe he was his attacker. Dan asks to check the patient and walks Brady to the door. He suggests he cut back on the confession talk about what he thinks happened. Brady sniffles and goes. The doctor checks his eyes and the Salem patient asks him to enlighten him on what happened that night they brought him in. He is after answers to his fuzzy memories … Theresa approaches guilt-ridden Brady at the nurse’s station. He sadly states his dad woke up so he told him the truth. He seems to have no memory. Theresa the terrible hugs him in relief and plays the role of the concerned consoling friend and lover … Back in his room, Dan informs John he was hit by a poker at the Kiriakis mansion, slipped into a coma, and was out for 3 months. Memory loss is normal in such situations. John says yeah right … Marlena and Eric find Theresa consoling Brady, who complains about John being in denial that he attacked him. Marlena suggests they not get ahead of themselves. Theresa agrees and overdoes her insistence they accept his memory will not be perfect despite the miracle. Dr. Dan emerges and announces he will get the patient a Physical therapist for tomorrow. His full physical recovery is expected, though the memory remains a mystery. Marlena flounces back to her fella. Dan grins one visitor at a time and informs Brady and Eric he will be in his office. Theresa makes a face. Brady sits and gets emotional to Eric about his da loving him no matter what he did. He is such a better man than he is! Eric urges him to … Brady knows he means he should forgive himself. No can do! Victor gets to the pub to talk to Caroline, who cries over Hope giving up on Bo. He argues he abandoned her. But what if he returns? Then they will handle it. But they need to support Hope ... Kristen obsesses over Theresa’s strange behavior and her own warning to Daniel, who agreed she might be right that she was John’s attacker. She storms off to get justice … Marlena sits alone with John and tenderly takes his hand. Their eyes lock dreamily until he pulls his hand away and implies she might be there out of pity, since they had not patched things up prior to his attack. He muses it must have been a miracle drug that woke him up. Marlena has much to share but that can wait. She is so grateful to have him back and told Eric. A frown creases John’s brow as he gets a fuzzy memory about seeing Eric. He wants to speak with him … Dan gets off a happy call with Parker when Theresa the terrible marches into his office yelling insults and accusations. She knows what he is up to! Dan takes it all in stride and gives her a disinterested look from his desk. He suggests she is under the influence again. Theresa sneers she will sue him if he even implies to others she attacked John. He quips if she is innocent, there is nothing to worry about and warns her John will probably remember. He talks Statesville. The hell cat hisses she would ruin him in retaliation! Aiden asks Hope to an art fundraiser. She suggests they lower it to a lunch. He touches her hand and flirts all he wants is to be in her company. She gushes she likes the idea too, then gets a call from Caroline, who summons her to the pub pronto. Hope heads to the pub to apologize but waiting Caroline wants to apologize instead. She was wrong! Life is short so she respects her desire to move on … EJ gets a hefty check from Victor at the park, as per their agreement regarding EJ’s intel on some of those companies Kate and Sami were getting rid of. The Greek quips he might need that cash. EJ drawls things have changed as he and Samantha have reconciled. All is well personally and professionally. Vic informs him he was not referring to those pesky tax evasion charges, he was referring to STEFANO! Drums play. Word on the street is Stefano is out to get EJ. He is cutting off all credit to EJ from anyone and has put the word out. The royal showdown cometh! Marlena suggests she and Brady head to the pub when Eric walks into John’s room. They agree to keep the fact that Eric dropped the charges against Kristen in exchange for the miracle drug a secret for the moment, to lessen John’s stress load … John explains to Eric he seeks clarification about a memory. They day he was hospitalized, did he and Eric see each other somewhere? Eric confirms they did meet and he was troubled about Brady. John asks whether he mentioned Theresa too. Eric gasps yes and wants to get the doctor. John drawls he is fine and needs only to rest. He thanks him for coming. Once alone, he takes a deep breath and gets to thinking … Theresa rants and raves and threatens to ruin Dan’s reputation all over the internet. Parker will see! It will never end if he accuses her of anything! The good doctor pours himself some coffee and she reminds him again he has much more to lose … At the club, Brady complains to Marlena it could be too late for him and his da to make amends. She marvels it is not too late. They were lucky. Brady laments luck had nothing to do with it and decides to thanks Kristen, much to Marlena’s dismay … Kristen bangs on Dan’s apartment door to demand what John remembers. Theresa cannot triumph! Dan agrees she should not … Eric gets the assurance of the nurse that John will not be disturbed. Theresa steps up and gets spooked when he confirms the Salem patient is already remembering that night. Inside his room, John’s flashbacks about that fateful night are coming more clearly. Theresa the terrible tried to extort money from him and then hit him from behind when he refused and threatened to expose her. She came at him from behind and then he was out cold. John suddenly sits up. IT WAS THERESA! He considers what to do next … THE END! |
