There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... In a dream JJ looooves Paige and they kiss in his bed. She stops him and suggests he could be like Jack the rapist! JJ wakes up in a sweat alone in bed. Meanwhile Paige pouts at the club, clumsily spilling her coffee. Mary Beth approaches and she sighs things are not the same .. JJ goes out … Paige laments things changed after the night JJ was with that other girl. She suspects Mary Beth knows something. Paige points out she claimed to have hurt her arm and took off. Mary Beth reminds Paige she believed JJ’s story and got herself birth control so why this unending upset? Paige complains that her guy turned her down! Mary Beth quips does he have a pulse? They pinpoint his apparent lack of libido to the night of the party and the pics of him and Jill surfacing. Meanwhile JJ meets Rory at the park but Rory does not believe the pics were untrue. He even told Paige JJ was a player … Jill the other woman appears on Eve’s doorstep and wants to talk. The haughty ho demands MO money. Otherwise precious Paige hears the truth! Eve patiently explains she already paid her but Jill the tart tells her she will expose her. Eve thinks she can win since she was once just like her! A working girl who got out of the racket. And to think she helped her! But she never agreed to the drugs. She threatens to expose her for drugging the boy. Paige would eventually forgive her. Jill, however, would go to jail for the felony. She decides to check with Commander Carver. Jill jumps up. Eve is on hold. Jill stammers she would settle for $500 and sighs she is down to her last $20. Eve agrees but this is the last time. If she sees her face in Salem ever again, she will report her to Abe. She advises her not to try and play a player again and gets the money. At DiMera mansion, Chad wants a word with worried Kate and Sami. What in the world is going on? Perhaps he could help! Kate claims they can figure this out without him. Chad addresses Sami. He refuses to let her go to prison after what happened to his brother. He will not stand by. Ring ring! He asks father how he fares. Stefano stares at EJ’s photo and sadly states his son is dead. How does he think he is! And what is happening with Samantha and Katarina? Chad asks him to hold on and suggests to a stunned Sami and Kate that he enlist Stefano’s assistance to save Sami! Sami glares, arms folded in fury. Kate does not approve! Chad gets back to father, who asks about the children. He wants him to set up a video chat. Chad agrees and adds he wants him to know something is going on with Sami! Sami whispers to stop already, she will tell Chad what he wants to know. Stefano wonders what his son meant. What is going on with Samantha? Chad lies he was referring to the fact that she is no pushover and politely promises to do whatever he wants. Naturally the phoenix has new orders. He wants him to pass on to unsuspecting Katarrrrina that he is buying 300,000 shares of Cane industries. He cackles the last tip he passed on should cost her immensely. And this bad deal will put the next nail in Katarrrrrrina’s designer coffin. Chad calmly ends the call with father and Sami calls him a true DiMera, a son of a bitch! Rafe hugs Nicole at the pub. He wanted to see how she is coping. Nicole tries to be a trooper but the truth is she is torn and feels terrible about EJ losing his life in spite of their lousy history. Is it true he was murdered by a drug addict? Rafe drawls it appears to be a mugging gone bad. He, however, always assumed he would die the dramatic death of DiMera. Nicole thinks the story of the mugging is crazy. Rafe agrees! They both feel for the children. Rafe reminds her she knew the kids well and advises her to pay a visit to check on them, as Chad already suggested. She sips her coffee and demurely disagrees. He suspects the reason for her refusal is Sami. Nicole notes she did not want her near the kids before and that would still stand. Rafe thinks differently. She eventually decides to try in case it could do some good. He asks how she herself is really doing and is met with silence … At the park, Jordan calls Clyde a bastard and insists she NEVER hurt her mother as he claimed. He is lying! Clyde threatens to tell Ben that he knows she caused the so-called accident on purpose. Jordan cries she did not, she never would have wanted to hurt mama! Clyde drawls mama was dead on the passenger side and Jordan was driving, but remained unharmed! Did she tell Ben that? She cries she did not kill mama. Clyde claims she was crying she DID kill her when he found them and he covered to the sheriff cos she was too young to drive. He stands up and says he has been protecting her all this time. She accuses him of blackmail, making her do dreadful things, and raises her hand to strike him. He grabs her wrist. Rory righteously warns JJ that if he does not watch it, he might lose Paige. JJ insists he loves her. Rory suggests he go talk to the girl before someone does what he did to him… At that very moment, Mary Beth and Page try to figure out what is eating JJ. Mary Beth deduces he could be hiding that he has a std. Paige has heard enough and says so. She is standing alone at the counter when JJ calls. He asks to meet at his house. She has her doubts. He announces he wants to explain everything … Clyde accuses Jordan of attempting to rewrite history as herstory. He taunts her new name was supposed to help her forget what she did as Tammy Sue! He heard her insulting her mama. Jordan exclaims she wanted to get through to her so she would come to her senses and leave him. Clyde cackles she is a liar for acting like he was at fault for she is the one who killed mama and abducted his boy Ben! Jordan accuses him of drinking and beating them black and blue. She had to save Ben. Clyde rages the real reason she ran was cos she was guilty as sin and they both know it! Sami flies at Chad for chatting about her children with sinister Stefano, forcing her to agree to talk to him before things got worse. Kate steps up and states she can trust Chad. Chad now calmly asks what kind of trouble she is in … Kate updates him on Sami’s stock fraud. Victor is already helping. Chad drawls he can help too given he is a major shareholder in DiMera Enterprises. The Greek could use that. Sami half smiles it seems he really is a good guy. Kate ushers him away for the next meeting with Victor. Sami raises her eyes to the heavens and says thank you ... At the hospital, Eve hands a nurse the signed papers for her new doctor, only to come face to face with Kayla, the chief of staff. Envious Eve explains she is having nodes removed from her vocal chords. Kayla is surprised she is still interested in singing and smiles she and Paige have gotten to know each other. She must be proud of her daughter. Eve thanks her and boasts she was accepted to Stanford but opted to stay in Salem … Kayla assumes it was for JJ and gushes they are crazy for each other. Eve grimaces that she has been encouraging their association! Nicole now unburdens her soul to Rafe over losing Eric. Rafe can relate as he blew it with Jordan. He teases they can have a pity party one of these days. She agrees to check on the DiMera kids and he drawls he will see her soon, paying the pub coffee bill ... Working girl Jill is at the pretty park, walking, texting. Rory spies the one that got away and is in hot pursuit ...! At Horton house, JJ politely invites prim Paige in to sit down on the sofa. She does. He wants to discuss last night. She reminds him of his rude response, the embarrassment it caused her ... Clyde threatens to tell brother Ben what Tammy Sue did if she tries to come between father and son. Jordan bitterly recounts what he used to say. That one woman in the family was going to obey him! Clyde pauses, points out she has more than mama’s blood on her hands, and leaves her in a state … At the square, Chad wonders how Kate feels about their meeting with Victor that just ended. She thinks it went well and Chad has proven useful. However, she questions the dangerous game he has been playing with Stefano. Perhaps now he will stop pretending to use Stefano against them. He quips he is not playing any games … They get interrupted by Clyde, who greets Kate, grinning that things are going his way on this fine day. At DiMera mansion, Sydney has made a family picture. Sami sees daddy and her and Johnny and Ali and Will with baby. All those who love her .. and who is this one? Sydney smiles to send her picture to daddy in heaven. Sami promises to find out how online. Knock knock! Mother and daughter open the front door. Sydney is elated to see mommy Nicole and throws her arms around her. Sami rolls her eyes. Romeo Rory has tailed Jill to the pub and calls her name. She speeds up and vanishes from view. But still he goes after his dream girl … Kayla suggests Paige and JJ are a great match. Eve quips he has a record. Kayla thinks she should know that lots of teens get in trouble. Eve leers she sees lots of Jack in JJ and Kayla knows better than anyone what that means! Kayla diverts her gaze. Eve walks away … JJ admits something did happen and he is now going to tell Paige … Chad excuses himself. Kate wonders about Clyde’s good mood. He gushes about feeling good cos he finally set things straight … Jordan cries her heart out alone in the park. Chad comes across the damsel in distress and takes her in his arms … Nicole admires the picture that Syd made and wishes EJ could see it too. She assures her her mommy can tell her all about her daddy and how much he loves her. The picture of the person watching over everyone is Nicole. So says Sydney. Nicole breaks down. Sami sweetly sends Syd to get an envelope they will mail daddy in heaven. Nicole is sorry. Sami says it is okay. Nicole cries it is not okay and she is so sorry. Sami lets out a whimper and they share an emotional embrace, the two passionate women who loved the same man once upon a time … THE END |
