There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Kristen eavesdrops on Eve telling Theresa she is onto her. Brady enters and catches her off guard. He blinks. She stares in surprise. He asks who she is listening to after she puts away the earphone. She fibs she was helping father with unfinished business. Brady feels badly for him losing a son but he is here to see her. Kristen purrs, pleased he came just as she asked ... Marlena and the nurse accompany John back in his room. He is in fine form after his physical therapy. Marlena sits and seeks to know how he really feels. He drawls it is gonna depend on HER. She notes it depends on THEM for much has transpired. John drawls he is clear headed and things are gonna change. They need to discuss their future, the two of them! The blonde blinks. He can remember things were not great between them and wonders what changed. The love of his life emotionally admits when she felt him slipping away, she realized in her heart she could not be without him! John tenderly takes her hand, moved to tears ... Crafty Clyde catches up with Ben at the square and smiles he has decided not to give him a dime! Ben bitterly believes his original offer to help was bull. Clyyyyyyde claims he has more to give than cash - an actual education! Ben is baffled. Clyde claims he would rather give him that college education instead of cash. Ben can use his savings for himself and he will foot the college bill. It would make him mighty proud! He begs his boy to let him make up for the past by making his future bright. Jordan comes to see Abi at the apartment where she is babysitting to talk CHAD! Abi hopes he has not pulled another sinister stunt Jordan explains he has asked her on a date. Abi quips he is not really in mourning over EJ. Jordan blushes and gushes the date invite occurred before but she came to check with her BFF now. Abigail is annoyed she is even considering and has given up on Rafe! Drums play ... Chad enters the pub as Kate complains on her phone about Sami being in big trouble. The junior DiMera takes a seat and scoffs what trouble this time? She gets sarcastic about Stefano and the fact that he would want to report the sordid details directly to him. He denies being in cahoots with the DiMera king … The two men and a woman in business attire introduce themselves to Sami. This cannot wait! They are ready to move as they have done their reading. Sami panics and steps outside to place a call, her heart racing, her breath ragged. She calls Kate to come save her cos the feds are about to cart her off! Kate whispers she will call her attorney. Meantime stay strong and say nothing! Sami gets back to the business group, who want to talk about options regarding what Will wrote, what they already looked into … She insists they wait for her attorney to be present. They wait and then ask to at least be permitted to present and facilitate. Sami flies at them for not respecting the rights of a recent widow. Kate comes sweeping into the mansion. Butler Harold hands her the card of the visitors. He had been busy attending to a kitchen fire. Kate realizes Sami was wrong. She walks in and silences Sami. She shows her the card … Abigail wonders whether Jordan has bothered to spill the beans to Ben about wanting to date Chad. Negative. Abi suggests she do it sooner rather than later, given he has to work for Chad and they are not exactly bffs. Jordan wonders how she feels about it. Abigail warns her of the dark mystique of Chad. He is just like EJ! Jordan tells her to take it easy. They are only having a dinner. Abigail agrees with a forced smile. She then arranges to see Chad at the square and demands to know what he is up to with Jordan. His attempt to make her jealous will not work! He denies the charge. She reminds him he had a bogus brain tumor so he is capable of anything. He reminds her she bedded his brother and chuckles about Benny Boy’s reaction to his wanting to date his sister. She might have to turn him down anyway. Angry Abigail is unable to stop him from leaving their table after that comment … At the club, things are not going well. Ben updates Jordan on Clyde’s offer. She gasps the bastard is actually out to buy him! Ben thinks Clyde and his biz are very real. He refuses to live with hatred. Jordan is furious he is forgiving Clyde for his evil! But Ben wants a better life. Jordan departs, feeling all is lost. Baristo Ben sulks. Theresa gets shrill with Eve, who warns her that Kristen holds her responsible for Brady’s boozing and drugs and told her she tricked him into marrying her. She suspects Theresa is guilty of that attack on John. Theresa scoffs she has nothing. Eve is exasperated she would underestimate a dangerous DiMera. Theresa hopes she did not tip her off but Eve insists she knows nothing, nor does she seem to want to. Theresa has a very bad feeling and goes on her way. Brady makes Kristen an earnest offer, to repay her for the miracle medicine. Kristen is highly offended. She gave John his miracle to show how much she loooooves Brady and was hoping for a new beginning. Brady coldly reminds her she blew her two chances so she should move on. He certainly has. When he walks out on her, she explodes, shrieking he will not get his happily ever after with Theresa the terrible! She will see to it! Sami’s three visitors are from Universal Pictures. The film people are fascinated by the Sami story. And they want IN! They want a movie or maybe a miniseries or reality show. Kate gets sarcastic. Sami is overwhelmed. The Hollywood heavies now drop a bombshell, asking her to relocate to Los Angeles. Kate calls the timing insensitive but they insist America wants more Sami! Sami stammers she is flattered. The gang leave her with their written offer of a 6 month commitment. They will be staying at the Salem Inn tonight, awaiting her response. Sami reads, riveted. Kate is appalled. Anne has summoned Theresa to the hospital and is elated to share her marvelous meeting with Kristen. Theresa pulls her away for privacy ... John and Marlena sweetly hold hands. She suggests it sounds so unlike him to have attacked Brady in any way. He gasps "doc" and seems ready to tell her the truth … until Brady walks in … He hopes he is not interrupting. John grins he is not. Brady asks if it is alright for him to bring Theresa around sometime. They are casually dating. John suggests they discuss later. Marlena worriedly wonders whether he has spoken with Kristen. Brady admits he just came from a face to face meeting with her. John waits for him to continue … Jordan summons Clyde to the park and warns him she will not let him do this. He tells Tammy Sue to watch her tongue. He could expose her secret to Ben, that she murdered his mama! In her room, obsessed Kristen gets worked into a frenzy about Theresa. She gets back to her eavesdropping on Eve, who knocks over the lamp after taking a call from her doctor about the papers he emailed her. Kristen shakes her shaggy head. Eve steps on the bug which fell to the floor. Game over. Kristen curses and decides to make us of Madame Milbauer, to listen in on her purse. She is quite a talker … Meanwhile Theresa has taken Anne to the park, hissing Kristen is trying to bring her down. Anne is enamored of her offer, however, and is already making big plans. Theresa demands she tell her what else she told the DiMera devil woman ... Abigail joins Ben at work. He is decidedly down about his dire discussion with Jordan. Kate snaps at Sami to stop dreaming of her Hollywood life. The time has come to fix the mess she made before it is too late! Enter Chad, announcing the time has come for the three of them to have a talk … Brady assures John he merely wanted to reimburse Kristen for the costly miracle drug. Marlena gets summoned to a patient and smiles when John says see ya round Doc! He confirms to Brady that things seem good between them. Brady tries to put his mind at ease about Kristen’s influence. He suspects she will be leaving Salem soon. John casually thanks him for stopping by. Once alone, he drawls first he deals with Kristen, then Theresa ... Anne thinks Theresa should consider herself lucky as John supported her story. As long as he does not remember, she will be fine. Theresa whispers he does remember. He remembers she is the one who attacked him but for some strange reason did not say ... Kristen the recording spy has reason to rejoice in her room. She now has the confession she was waiting for.
