There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Eve opens her humble door to Kristen, who sweetly introduces herself. She gushes she wants to get to know her! Eve pauses. Kristen steps inside, condescendingly calls her apartment cozy, and gets right down to business. She knows all about Theresa ... Theresa comes running to HR Anne at work and stammers she slept with Brady. She finds out he is with John and starts to worry. Madame Milbauer, who has other matters on her mind, reminds her John did support her story and steps away. Theresa the terrible wonders whether he will keep the secret from Brady and stops the billionaire heir as he emerges. Anything new to report? Nothing new but her name did come up. Theresa gasps and Brady takes her to the pub to talk … At the club, baristo Ben is almost ready for that help crafty Clyde has been offering. Eerie music plays. Clyde praises the lord for his trucking company, which has been a successful source of income. He can manage biz from his computer here in Salem and wonders whether Ben wants to go back to Poplar Bluff. Ben is staying in Salem. Clyde teases he wants to be near Abigail. Ben remains guarded. Clyde insists he owes him. Busy Ben stops slicing his lemon and confesses he has been saving for college, but his rented room is not enough. Papa Clyde wants to make the past up to him and promises to keep his financial assistance a secret. Ben does not want secrets from Jordan but Clyde suspects she would not approve. Ben understands. Clyde tells him to do some thinking and goes. Ben gets online and finds a luxury ad for a pad T later admires too … Abi is at the Wilson apartment to watch Ari. Sonny is concerned about her state, given what happened. She assures him she is alright. And Will? Sonny replies he has been busy helping Sami and the kids though he knows not where he presently is! However, he is more concerned about her. Abigail admits it was not easy seeing Chad. She has regrets about being so hard on EJ lately and cries about the harsh words she spoke that she did not mean. She appears haunted by it. She now asks Sonny to pass on to Will how sorry she is for what he and Sami are going through. Sonny does not deny it has been a stressful time. He assumes the article Will was writing about Chad is now a no-go. Abigail is visibly relieved and gushes Sonny should go find his hubby and spend some time with him. Sonny smiles that is a great idea … Cardigan Will visits Victor with a reminder he had said he could come to him for help. Now he needs his help cos Sami is in big trouble! The Greek is listening and starts to chuckle. Will shares what he overheard, that Sami is facing prison unless she gets a miracle! The Greek grimaces ... Sami has visitors – two agents who arrest her! Ali screams for mommy. Sami wakes up from her nightmare about the men in black. Kate brings coffee to the couch where she slept all night. Sami snaps she cannot go to prison. Colorful Kate doubts she can avoid it. She should have known she was breaking the law! Sami admits she was not careful with her creativity when dumping the company. Kate is determined to help the kids and dramatically declares they already lost their father so they cannot lose their mother too … Chad walks woefully thru the square when T stops him to say he is sorry about EJ. He recalls New Year’s Eve, when he bore witness to helpful EJ waiting tables. He was a nice guy helping out. Chad stares. Others mentioned EJ’s good side, which he believed in as well, at least until … T thinks things got complicated and Chad agrees. When Abi’s name comes up, he asks how she fares, his eyes filled with interest. T only knows she is babysitting for Will and Sonny and excuses himself. Chad is on his way! Victor demands to know every scandalous word Will heard. He needs the whole story! Meanwhile at the mansion, Sami is having another meltdown about losing it all. She cries on sympathetic Kate’s shoulder as she consoles the girl. Then they catch themselves and break away. Sami wipes away a tear and wonders why the altruism from her adversary … At the pub, Brady and Theresa catch up over coffee. He drawls John only said he wanted to know her better. She anxiously asks if he regrets their love making. No, but they need to move slowly and carefully. Theresa thinks it is because of Kristen … At Eve’s apartment. Kristen calls Theresa Brady’s enabler, who took him to a terrible place with his drug addiction and tricked him into a Vegas quickie wedding. But the marriage was annulled. John found out and then came the fight that almost killed him! Eve is in denial but Kristen accuses her of knowing more. Eve pauses to answer her phone and turns away. Within seconds Kristen has planted a bug inside a lampshade. Eve hangs up on the telemarketer and kicks Kristen the criminal out! Kristen cackles and goes on her wicked way, warning this is far from over. Outside the door, she checks her device, elated the bug is in place. Mission accomplished! Abigail is feeling maternal as she warmly bounces Ari on her knee and wonders about the little girl she will have one day. Chad arrives. He pretends to be seeking Will and she stammers he is out with Sonny. She invites him in and he shyly accepts. She is happy to see him and asks how he fares. Fine. She points out his brother perished. She assures him EJ cared for him but he would rather not get into it. The baby rests her head on her shoulder. She cuddles her and states it is okay to feel sad. Chad gushes she always knows how to make him feel better. She hands him the baby as she must get her juice. He admires her and Abi lets him give the baby her juice on the couch. But Ben arrives and the door is open. He sees the sweet scene in progress … Victor declares Will must delete their discussion from his memory forever. He can only say he will do his best. Will cannot thank him enough. The Greek quips not to write an article about it. Done! Will sighs he is never going to write about family again anyway … Kate explains she and Sami are partners even though Sami attempted to get rid of her. They are also family. Sami teases she almost sounds like she likes her. Kate cackles that word is too strong but she is the mother of two of her precious grandchildren. There is also that fierce portrait of the pair of them. Sami smiles about the painting they dared hang to replace Stefano after their infamous corporate coup … Will and Sonny find each other by the town gate, among the autumn leaves. Sonny smiles he wants to focus on him, the most important person in his life and kisses him. Will woefully admits he feels overwhelmed. Sonny asks if that was the reason he ran off as soon as the sun came up, Will shares his worries about his mom and the kids. Sonny lets him know he has his full support. Abi is concerned about him as well. Will wonders how she is doing. She harbors regrets about how things were between her and EJ and also her and Will. She is watching Ari as they speak so they can take time to enjoy lunch and a date this afternoon! Will explains he has much to do. Sonny is stunned to hear he actually intends to write his article in spite of all that happened … Victor waltzes into the mansion and gets right down to business with Sami about her mess with the SEC. Time is of the essence! He informs stunned Sami and Kate he came to help. It matters not who filled him in. Sami questions his motivation. Victor points out his nephew and her son are married so this is for family. He grumbles to start at the beginning so they can finally fix this mess. Sami is pleasantly surprised. Brady is vague about not wanting to move fast after what happened with Kristen and then leaves for the hospital to see John, who has probably finished his latest round of physical therapy. Theresa gets a call from Eve, who complains about Kristen snooping around. Meanwhile Kristen orders room service. Knock knock! She places drops in her eyes and woefully lets Anne inside. Madame Milbauer calls EJ formidable and handsome and is respectfully sorry for Ms. DiMera’s loss. Kristen coos she sent for her cos she has big plans and they include her! Will argues to Sonny that Chad wants him to be the one to tell the story cos someone is going to do it. Sonny still has concerns. Will promises to write it with respect. Sonny suspects he is after the byline but EJ got murdered! Will replies and the article is going to be even better! Sonny is speechless ... Victor lectures scared Sami, then assures her there will be no men in black cos those agents don’t wear black anymore! He orders her to get cleaned up so she looks less guilty and walks out to confer with Kate, who sighs... Chad decides the time has come to bid his niece farewell. Abi must change the baby and hopes the boys will behave. Once she has disappeared into the other room. Chad insists he has moved on and has no designs on Abigail. Ben lets him know he is sorry about his loss. Chad thanks him and exits ... At the hospital, a nurse gushes to Brady about the miracle of John’s recovery. The billionaire heir decides to go see the miracle worker … Kristen gets Anne a coffee and announces she wants to make a donation to her department for a medical internship program. The scholarship would be in EJ’s memory. Anne greedily agrees to call the hospital head. Kristen slyly slips a bug into her black purse ... Sonny cannot believe what Will is thinking! Will reasons Chad was angry with EJ but now will do some soul reaching, which is good. Sonny sarcastically snaps and the murder will help sales too. Will admits the mag business is about selling mags but Sonny is not fair to question his integrity. Sonny is sorry if he overreacted and agrees he should write the article if it is what Chad wants. Will starts to leave. Sonny is sorry for the spat. Will acts aloof and claims he has much to do. Sonny is left standing alone … Abi sits on Ben’s lap and they kiss in bliss. He yearns to be alone with his dream girl ... Sami is shocked by the sight of a couple of men in suits waiting for her when she comes downstairs in her black dress … Still on the telephone, Eve warns Theresa that Kristen is onto her. Theresa acts frazzled. She knows?! Kristen listens from her room with her headset, waiting for her to just say the words that implicate her. Knock knock! She tells room service where to leave the tray but this is no room service. There stands Brady Black ...! THE END |
