Tuesday, October 2, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up by early afternoon October 1 LOVE AND LUNACY - Dan has just grabbed the phone and ended Jen’s call to the DNA lab. He growls what the hell is she doing. Nothing, says she. He now grabs her list and exclaims he will not let her ruin her career by calling labs pretending to be doing so for EJ DiMera. She snaps and yet he would throw away his career for that witch Nicole! He warns her she is getting messed up in a messy situation. She thinks he has lost his mind and reminds him he is helping Nicole the deceiver. Dan argues that does not mean she should risk fraud. Jen now shares that she overheard EJ and knows for a fact that he is already targeting Daniel as they speak! The exasperated medicine man slams down the clipboard and gasps he is not her concern. He wants nothing from her. Not now and not ever! Jen stares, caught off guard by his unusually harsh reaction. - By the town square gate, Nicole approaches a friend in need. She perceives something is upsetting Rafe and demands to know what that bitch Sami has done this time! - Meanwhile, back at her apartment sofa, Sami sighs. She is admittedly uncomfortable crying on EJ’s shoulder, given how she treated him. He coos he wants to make her feel betta. She looks up at him and his face hovers. He has his hand on her back and murmurs it matters not how angry he gets, he simply cannot stand to see her cry. Their mouths get closer and closer … All of a sudden, Chad pounds on the door like a raging lunatic. EJ calmly opens it and wonders what is wrong. “What do you think!” snaps Chad. Sami appears confused. What happened to him and Melanie? She was certain they would be getting married. Chad sniffles Nick Fallon was to blame and he should have killed him! EJ hastily asks for a moment with his brotha and they take their discussion into the hallway. EJ advises him to watch his mouth in public. Chad is mad and will not listen. EJ shoves him up against the wall when he tries to take off to do some damage. He reminds him of his last name. Chad is out of control! Meanwhile, Maggie has just slipped an envelope addressed to Chad underneath his dorm room door. Bad news cometh! - Rafe and Nicole sit on a bench and he insists his sorrow was not caused by Sami. She begs to differ, calls Sami a virus, and urges him to confide in her. She wants to help him! He stands up to leave. She regrets trashing Sami but needs a friend and hopes he will not leave. He lets her know that in no uncertain terms does he wish to discuss this. She agrees and offers to buy him a martini so she can at least smell it. He does not drink martinis. She does but jokes the fumes might not be good for the baby. She now shares that Daniel has an idea. Only 3 companies are presently permitted to conduct paternity tests. Naturally they have compatible software with the hospital. Dan can use the software and would just need access. Rafe is impressed. He offers to get a buddy from the bureau to hack him in. Nicole is rather nervous about anyone in the FBI getting involved. Rafe assures her it will be fine. He now stops. EJ is not … Nicole wonders what he is thinking, as he has become uncharacteristically distant. Rafe flashes back to EJ blackmailing him and seems to hesitate. Nicole deduces he is having second thoughts. She starts to panic and blames Sami for making him hesitant to say he is the father. If they successfully fake the paternity results, then no one will doubt he is the father, including Sami. Therefore, he must ask himself if he really is through with her. Is he really through with Sami ...? - Gabi stands in front of the pub on her way to work and leaves an anxious message for big brother Rafe. She is terrified of ending up in prison. She begs him to call her if he knows anything new. - Dan assumes curious Jen wants the whole story. He quips he does not want her to wreck his life again. He gracefully walked away when she chose Jack, He accuses her of using him when she though Jack was dead. “You have no right to care for me!” He adds he has since moved on. Jen feels sickened about who he might have moved on with. She thinks he will not answer. He calls her jealous. She snaps she is not being irrational because of Jack’s death. Dan explains she is acting like a traumatized woman, out of character. Jen rages on. He tells her not to yell. She exclaims he is ruining his life and she is unable to get through to him. Dan bitterly insists it is his life with his choices. He now taunts her the person he is going for at the moment is none other than Nicole Walker. Jen calls him an idiot. He could lose his medical license for that fling. Dan repeats he is none of her business. She repeats he is making a big mistake. He is not legal and unethical but Nicole is. Dan claims their plan will keep EJ at bay and they can be together. Jen cannot believe it. He grumbles he did not believe she would walk away from happiness just because Jack was helpless without her. Jen is shocked by the comment. He is being intentionally cruel, which is not like him. She crumples the lab list and throws it at him, wishing him luck with his mess of a life. She now is convinced she made the right decision when she chose Jack over him! Jen does not realize that Dan is pushing her away for her own good, as he soon admits to someone ... - EJ assures gasping Chad he is on this situation and repeats to trust him. Chad mutters if he loses Mel, he will go straight to the cops and turn in Gabi for her involvement in Melanie’s kidnapping.
