There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... JJ is uncertain how to reply and Paige is sorry that he did not know! He stammers he actually knew and asks how she came to know about the assault on Kayla. She confesses to hearing Kayla’s candid conversation with a patient. JJ worries what she heard. The brunette with the braid replies that she stated she was a survivor. JJ realizes no name was mentioned. Paige wonders why he is so anxious about it. Kayla calls. JJ grimaces. Paige urges him to pick up and so he does. Aunt Kayla calls his girl a star. He agrees. She praises Paige for wanting to help others. She is nothing like Eve! JJ jokes no kidding! Kayla asks him to let her know she can come to her with anything at the hospital while she interns. JJ smiles and appreciates it. She says not to be a stranger. JJ now updates Paige, who continues to feel uneasy about what she overheard. She wants to come clean to the good doctor but JJ talks her out of it. Paige is touched he seems to want to protect his auntie and the pair embrace. JJ is terribly tense, fearful of Paige finding out what papa Jack did all those years ago … EJ charmingly returns to the mansion, asking about motha. Sami frowns she fled. EJ is exasperated. Sami is fuming. He tries to find out where oh where motha went, only to receive a text from Susan about the vampires with a promise to help him from afar. She warns him to proceed with caution, for evil abounds! EJ knows not what set her off. Sami clears her throat. EJ wonts her to look him in the eye. Wot happened? Sami sighs Kristen must have spooked Susan cos she was here when she came home, no Susan in sight. EJ is appalled to learn she was gloating. Sami brings up what she did to her brother. EJ wonders wot she said. That he knew what Kristen had done to Eric and exactly how he reacted. According to Kristen, he approved of what she had done! EJ pauses. She asks if it is true he laughed. He does not think he did. Sami suspects he did say what Kristen claimed about Eric coming off his pedestal. EJ explains he saw what a noble man he was after he made the crack and did regret those words. He adds Kristen failed to mention how he let her have it for wot she did. Sami wipes a tear from her eye as EJ accuses Kristen of trying to stirring up trouble. She is not sure what to think. He implores her not to let his sordid sister succeed in causing mischief. Clyde smugly thanks Rafe at the square – for introducing him to diva Kate! She is a rare breed indeed and they were laughin all night at dinner. Rafe gives him the evil eye and forces a smile. They had dinner? Clyde thanks him for getting them off the ground and offers to help him with Jordan. Rafe politely turns him down and stares with worry when he departs. There is something about that Clyyyyyde … Chad meets Kate at the pub with an update on Stefano flying off to Frankfurt. Kate checks her itinerary and calls him a bastardo! Board member George is already there and she suspects Stefano wants her to assume they are conspiring together and he wants her to cause trouble, thus looking unprofessional. Chad wonders what her next step will be. Kate pauses. She will do what Stefano thinks she will do. She will give up her pawn and take another hit and another to let him believe he is in the lead. Chad concludes he will let his guard down. Kate warns even Chad should tread with caution for DiMeras do tend to fall from grace when they are overly confident. Bemused Chad the betrayer sips his coffee. Sonny greets Jordan at the club, explaining Ben is busy with Abi so he is done for the day. Jordan smiles knowingly. She wants to talk and Sonny assumes it is about the accusation Chad hurled at Ben regarding his money. He feels Chadman is probably jealous of Ben, who is now Abigail’s boyfriend. But Chad did apologize. He asks whether Jordan has met Chad. A few times and he was nice but he probably knew not Ben is her brother. Chad enters and puts his arm around Sonny, asking if he needs any help. Sonny shakes his head and steps away so Jordan can enlighten him. She now lets the DiMera heir know that Ben is her brother. Sonny’s baby blues widen in surprise. Abi looks around the romantic room and Ben starts to say he is sorry if he overstepped. The strained girl calls the idea sweet. He thinks she feels different due to running into EJ. Abi gives him a look. She denies it has anything to do with EJ and explains this is their place. She smells food. Ben has the swanky cart ready with wine as well and she is overwhelmed. No man has ever tried to make it so special. Ben is her gem, everything she could possibly desire. They proceed to kiss passionately as the sweet music plays. She calls this a kind of picnic. He kisses her again and announces they have all the time in the world … Their phones ring in unison. Ben turns his off but suggests she leave hers on in case it is a job opportunity calling. She sips her red wine and asks what his dream job would be. To serve coffee, he jokes. He then admits he hopes to further his education. He has no subjects selected just yet but wants to learn something that would make a difference in the world. Abigail is impressed and squeezes his hand. They kiss again. Rafe summons Kate to the town square café and admits it might not be his biz but he blames himself. Come on now, Kate and Clyde?! She cocks her head. It was only dinner and she owes Rafe no explanation but Clyde was quite charming. Rafe stares with his dark eyes. Kate suspects this is really about Jordan! Meanwhile Clyde meets his mountain man in the park and orders him to double the load cos they are now doubling their territory! The mountain man feels it is too much but Clyde thinks and talks big … Chad the cad asks Jordan about her relationship with Ben and apologizes for being an ass with her brother. He hopes he did not blow it. She replies Ben is an understanding sort and starts to go. Ben hopes he did not screw up THEIR friendship. She smiles a flirty smile, states he did not blow it, and waltzes out. Chad is relieved … Rafe insists to Kate that Jordan felt the threat of step daddy Clyde. Something is off with his story of coming to town to make amends. Rafe senses as much. Kate assures him altruistic Clyde wants him and Jordan to get back together. She laughs Rafe must be jealous. Rafe laughs and denies it. But he worries about Kate getting close to another villain. He touches her hand and adds he is looking out for his friend. Jordan appears and unhappily observes the body language. Crafty Clyde confirms to his mountain man that he intends to take on one isolated DiMera – EJ- and he knows just how to handle him … Sami reaches out to EJ and he places his strong arms around her. She lists all the stresses of their day, the last of which was Kristen’s mouth. EJ thinks his family has mastered the art of crazy and lethal. Sami suggests they run away together. He drawls he has aliases. She admits they gave them all to the cops. He kisses her hand and assures her he would happily leave with her and their family in a heartbeat, never looking back. She caresses his face, still on his lap, as he declares all he needs is her. They kiss, deeply in love … JJ loves Paige and kisses her again and again. She gasps they should go upstairs. JJ suddenly pulls away and buttons up his shirt. The girl does not get what is bothering her hot and cold boyfriend … The mountain man wonders what kind of solution Clyde would want with EJ. Problems in a family are fast forgotten when something happens that brings them all together, a force to be reckoned with … EJ and Sami promise each other they will not let anyone get to them. They will be here for each other. Always. They seal the deal with another heartfelt kiss… Ben calls Abi beautiful and himself a lucky guy. They kiss again on the big bed … Chad admits to Sonny how hard it was being unlucky in love. That article really got to him. He is sorry he was unable to shake it off. Sonny is sympathetic but hopes his business partner will be alright with all the patrons, including Abi and Ben. Chad teases Sonny he sounds like security. He promises he is good and suggests they change how certain things are done around the establishment. Sonny gets a bad feeling … Rafe wants Kate to be careful with Clyde the creepy clown. She thanks him for caring and he walks off. Kate now spies Jordan and notes she just missed Rafe. Jordan gasps she saw them. Kate insists she misunderstood. Rafe was merely bothered by her date with Jordan’s dad! Jordan cannot conceal her shock … The kids interrupt Ejami kissing, home from school. Daddy starts to play tickle monster with Sydney against Johnny, who made fun of her kindergarten class … Clyde refuses to let the mountain man ruin his mood. One way or another he knows EJ DiMera is gonna play his way… The tickling continues as the family now tickles EJ and he laughs out loud. Ominous music plays.
