After he got out of the trunk he spent months getting well but lived in fear they would have the Greek godfather finish him off. The guys warn he would not be believed so he threatens to go to the tabloids. Then both “prettyboys” would go down in flames with Titan ... Ciara assures raging Rafe she is alright. He warns Ben to watch it. Now he must find Hope. Ciara hopes he won’t ... Rafe growls there could be consequences of being with Ben! The fire was suspicious and madman Ben was off his meds. Ben interrupts so Rafe silences him. He lists Ben’s crimes and reasons he is unreasonable. Ciara believes Marlena. Ben is not the same guy. Rafe reminds her sweet Abigail fell apart and attacked Gabi so how safe is she in Ben’s arms? He leaves her to consider ... JJ apologizes for giving Gabi a hard time. She swears she wants his sister to get better and asks how the baby fares. JJ sighs Stefan will not let anyone in but he wants to see the new niece. She accompanies him to hospital to see Kayla ... Stefan has a moment alone with baby Charlotte. He proceeds to tell her a story about Princess Charlotte. Kate appears and he attempts to kick her out for she still has Viv’s blood on her hands! Kate supports him locking Abigail away and attempts to make nice but the beautiful cobra has something up her sleeve ... JJ heads to the gift shop for Charlotte. Gabi approaches Kayla, who recounts Abigail’s accusation that she set her up and drugged her. Gabi calls the girl delusional. Kayla solemnly states Gabi asked her for the sedatives refill recently and demands to know whether she drugged her niece ... Kate brings up Ted. Stefan is suspicious. Kate claims people are asking her about his disappearance. Stefan states he is being watched. They both would have something to lose it he escaped and talked. Kate wonders whether he would have him shot. Stefan replies he would do what he had to ... Hope gets mad when Ted tries to prevent her from taking a call from Rafe. She suggests they could keep him in police protection. He scoffs Stefan’s goons would have him dead before sunrise. Meanwhile Rafe leaves a message ... Sonny exclaims he hates Leo, who refers to them as star crossed lovers. Sonny is done with the gold digger! Leo offers to apologize and get back together with Sonny, in wedded bliss. Sonny declines. Leo warns if not Sonny and Will end up broke and in jail. Either way he will never be with Will. Will watches with worry ... Kate questions Stefan on his word. JJ appears. Exit Kate. JJ refuses to go. Stefan the new family man has changed his no visitation policy for family. JJ gazes down at Abigail’s daughter and wishes she were here. Stefan asks how his sister fares. Not well. Stefan sighs he had to have her committed for Charlotte’s sake ... Gabi assures Kayla the sedatives are for her sleepless nights. Kayla implies she could be a good person doing bad things. It happens ... Madame Commissioner claims she cannot bend any more rules and decides to call Rafe with the truth. Ted turns away in exasperation ... Ben sighs wait until Hope finds out. All of Salem hates him. After all he is an unemployed convicted killer. Ciara adds and she is a rape survivor. The past is the past. However, if they are to have a relationship he has to look her in the eye and swear he did not start that fire. It is the first and last time she will ever ask him to do so ... Gabi denies drugging Abigail. Kayla explains she just had concerns. Gabi warns her medication history is confidential. The good doctor stares suspiciously ... Stefan thanks JJ for the thoughtful stuffed bear for Charlotte. Both hope baby will see mama soon ... Leo lets Sonny and Will discuss while he walks off to find more pie and a spare room for his greedy self. Will suggests to flabbergasted Sonny that attorney Ted must be Leo’s accomplice ... Before phone Hope can complain about Ted, phone Rafe reveals he caught Ciara kissing big bad Ben ... Ben gazes into Ciara’s eyes and swears he would never hurt her. She listens to her heart and whispers she knows ... Gabi complains to Kayla that Abigail attacked her when she went to see her. JJ approaches and they head off together ... Ben holds Ciara and wonders where they go from here. She muses her life is a mess and she is not ready for a new relationship. He adds he has to get his act together, get a job and a place. Would she then consider going on a dinner date? Yes ... Hope gasps Ciara said she and Ben were not romantically involved! Rafe wants to meet her now. She will see him at home after she takes care of a case. Click. Ted wonders why she did not reveal his presence to Rafe. Now driven by desperation, she agrees to keep him safe from sinister Stefan. Time to take him to a hiding place ... Stefan gets a call in the baby’s room. Boom. Ted Laurent has escaped ... Kate strolls through the square, stops and listens to the recording of her earlier conversation with Stefan, who stated Ted could implicate them both in big crimes ... Sonny panics. They assumed Kate had taken care of terrible Ted! Will is going to talk to her and vows nothing will come between him and Sonny after all they have overcome.
