They need to have a conversation. She recalls JJ’s reveal that Abigail accused Gabi of drugging her. Stefan appears, angry the good doctor allowed Jen in the baby’s room. Kayla blasts him for setting up Steve to be arrested for spying when the only real spy is HIM ... Kate ends a call with Chad assuring him he did the right thing for Stefan is at fault. Now she needs a drink. Roman arrives at her room. She assumes it is about Rex. He joins her for the drink. They are thankful Rex at least got them a new granddaughter. Roman came to discuss a plan to bring down Stefan DiMera ... Outside the club Hope cannot believe Ted just came up behind her and she knocked him to the ground ... Sonny and Will are stunned to see Leo alive at the door. He drawls they must have missed him and watzes in. Will and Sonny look like they have seen a soap ghost. Leo helps himself to pie. The guys wonder why he is there. Leo sarcastically states he is thankful to be alive and cackles. He gleefully reminds Sonny he murdered him ... Ted implores Hope to help him. His life is at risk! He will explain elsewhere. Hope is intrigued. He wants police protection. Hope believes it is from Ben, the client ... Ben is sorry about Tripp. Ciara cannot believe he set poor Ben up! She sighs he was not to be trusted. But neither wanted to get Tripp in trouble in the end ... Stefan and Kayla take it to her office. He notes she has no proof but she is at her wits end and updates him on Steve’s arrest for spying with remote control of his eye. She points the finger at Stefan ... Kate warns Roman that Stefan is dangerous and denies she has any dirt. Roman senses Stefan has something on her ... Sonny snaps what does Leo want now! Will wonders how he even survived. Leo lies Susan took him to Rolf and then laughs the truth is he was alive when they left him ... Ben tells Ciara he would have called the cops if Claire had not reminded him Tripp would get hard time. Ciara thinks that was big of Ben, to let it go. Ben does not want to play the payback game. Ciara agrees. Ben also wants his own second chance ... Ted informs Hope he speaks not of Ben but of that madman Stefan DiMera ... Roman now hears how Ted was relocated by Stefan for Kate. She sips her drink. Roman wants to know why she had Ted relocated. She admits he was blackmailing her ... Kayla trashes Stefan for turning Steve’s miracle sight into his own evil weapon. Stefan tries to explain but Kayla rages on ... Leo had heard about Susan and Rolf from Sonny at pillow talk. He taunts Will dumped him for Paul. Sonny reminds him his so-called death was an accident. Leo notes it was the night before the trial! Will asks where the hell he has been all this time. Leo praises the pinot he enjoys and explains he was recovering from the head wound Sonny gave him with his attack. Sonny snaps he was strangling Will. Furthermore, he set him up and was scamming the Kiriakis clan over their bogus connection. Leo reminds him they did have a fling. Sonny states one time only. Will has more questions. Leo admits he has been around observing for a while and taunts both bad boys ... Roman waits for the blackmail details. Kate pauses. He asks why Ted blackmailed her. She flashes back to the fact that he was blackmailing Will for killing his client Leo. However she only reveals to Roman that Ted was aware she used Leo to sue Sonny for sexual harassment. In the end she tells Roman that Ted used her ... Ted gasps to Hope about the island Stefan’s goons dragged him to. Once Stefan realizes he is gone he is as good as dead. Hope suspiciously asks why Stefan ordered his abduction ... Stefan ends a call with his security man and promises Kayla he will find the one who used Steve for spying. Kayla questions his motivation ... Ben boldly states he would want to protect Ciara from a guy with his sordid history too. Ciara feels badly she believed he was the bad guy and confesses that was why she slept with Tripp. Ben the hopeful heart realizes what she is really revealing ... Stefan denies being a monster. Kayla snaps he made her do his bidding to save Steve’s sight. He counters Kate murdered his mother so it was a tough time ... Leo sits and sarcastically refers to Paul’s fall, the fact that Will and Sonny’s reunion was not meant to last. Sonny snaps to get out. Leo calls himself their curve ball ... Ted updates suspicious Hope that someone got Stefan to remove him. He remembers Kate being mad he was blackmailing Will. Pause. Hope demands a straight answer. Ted sighs and confesses Stefan got rid of him for Kate DiMera ... Kate informs Roman she made the mistake of getting involved with Ted, who turned out to be a blackmailer most foul ... Ciara sighs she and Tripp slept together because of a lie and then Tripp believed he was her second choice. She denies it was true. Ben wonders whether he was just the safe choice. Ciara is at a loss. Ben promises not to push and adds he still feels the same way about her. He urges her to be honest with herself about her real feelings ... for him. Ciara stammers and alludes to an attraction but she is confused! Tripp seemed the solid selection but Ben ... Ben is the one everyone warns her against. He looks deeply into her eyes and then touches her face, noting she is still here ... Kayla cares not about Stefan’s grief and points out Vivian would be proud of what he did. He adds she would have loved Charlotte and laments Kate cost him his daughter’s doting grandmother forever ... Roman teases Kate for her bad choices in men and promises to bring Stefan down ... Hope had no idea Ted and Kate were acquainted. He will only say he did some legal work for her. Hope knows there is more to the story since there is no love lost between Stefan and Kate. She demands the rest. Ted admits he blackmailed Will ... Will wants to know what Leo wants. He speaks in circles. Sonny wishes he really were dead. Leo dares him to do it right here right now ... Stefan laments he was just after justice for what Kate did and apologizes to Kayla for being extreme. He also wants to apologize to Steve and promises to right his wrong. Kayla urges him to be the kind of dad his daughter can be proud of ... Roman promises Kate he will protect her. She admits Stefan has more on her than she mentioned. Roman suggests they wait with that story. Today he only asks her to trust him and answer his questions as they proceed. That is the only way he can keep her safe. Kate considers ... Sonny insists it was an accident. Will thinks Leo should leave. So does Sonny who threatens to throw him out. Leo smirks he simply wants to pick up where they left off. Sonny agreed to marry him and he intends to hold him to it ... Ted will not tell Hope the details of his blackmail of Will and Sonny so Hope starts to walk away. He begs. She asks why she should ignore proper police procedure so Ted dangles evidence he has - evidence she could use to lock up Ben ... Ciara gets nervous and is sorry. Ben pulls her back. He praises her as the bravest girl in the world. She giggles when he gushes her fighting spirit is even bigger than a bag of bobcats. He gently notes they are not too broken to love and refuses to let her give up. Their lips meet in a tender kiss and she drops her helmet to the ground along with her hesitation. STAY TUNED!
