She informs surprised Hope they did not see Ciara at Thanksgiving. Hope wonders. She said she would celebrate with Doug and Julie ... Ciara heads home and finds Tripp packing. He pouts he is moving out ... Ben is harsh with smug server Claire, but she points out he must pounce since Ciara is finally free ... Will gushes Sonny is hoooome. Sonny asks if everything is alright ... Eric sighs to Sarah that Holly has been asking after Nicole. She wants mommy. Sarah suggests he wait until the right time. He told her mommy cannot be here but there are many who love her. Then he sang her to sleep with the same lullaby Nicole sang. He wishes Nicole were here! Sarah listens. He regrets Holly will never share any more moments with her mom. Sarah the sage notes he is the next best thing. Back at the park Will informs Sonny he is surprised Victor summoned him. He adds this is all about them ... Hope cannot reach her daughter by phone and heads to the loft. She wants Rafe to wait and promises to be back for pie. They kiss in bliss. Rafe sits with Julie, who is glad things are going well. She suggests he not screw up ... Ciara has something to say. Tripp told her they were through. Tripp sadly states she implied it and is upset she believed he framed Ben to get her in bed. He was trying to protect her and gets mad when she defends Ben the killer again cos she would rather trust him. Ciara soap stares with tears in her doe eyes. Before he leaves she laments she really loved him and is sorry things ended this way. Tripp is too and walks out of her life ... Ben believes Ciara still cares for Tripp. Claire tells him to go to her and help her figure out how she feels. Ben has decided to let destiny take its course. Claire thinks he should give it a push and vows to win Tripp. She bitterly recounts their pasts and states they are still standing and deserve what they want. However, they might have to work a wee harder to get the ones they want. Ben takes in all her spin ... Hope wakes up Ciara, who fell asleep on her bed alone in the apartment. She wonders why she missed Julie and Doug’s Thanksgiving. Ciara admits she wanted to be alone and avoid the questions cos she and Tripp broke up. Hope is so sorry until she hears the reason was Ben. She raises an eyebrow ... Ben suggests sneaky Claire leave him out of her schemes. She tries to stop him from leaving. Tripp comes and taunts she did nothing for HE framed him. Ben takes out his phone and threatens to call the cops ... Sarah and Eric discuss who could raise Holly. She sweetly suggests he is the best candidate. Eric admits he was already planning to raise her with Nicole but now he is alone. She gushes she and Maggie will help. Holly will have all their love. Eric is committed to making Holly happy. Sarah refers to him as Holly’s rock. He must become her legal guardian ... Sonny gasps he and Will agreed not to break Paul’s noble heart. Will laments but he broke Sonny’s. Besides Paul left Salem after finding out the truth ... about them ... Rafe declares he has done nothing to mess up with Hope. Julie is relieved and refers to his dalliance. He already said this to Doug – he will never betray Hope ever again and urges Julie to believe. She suggests Hope needs to believe. Rafe is hopelessly devoted to his wife and is thankful. Julie pours the bubbly and they toast to second chances, gratitude and love. Rafe drinks up and grins. Meanwhile Hope is horrified to hear Ciara has feelings for Ben. Ciara would rather have sympathy over the end of her relationship. Hope is truly sorry about Tripp. Ciara repeats her irritation that no one is giving new improved Ben a fair shot. Hope quips he gave none of his victims a fair shot and warns her it would be unwise to get involved ... Claire stands between Tripp and angry Ben and assures Ben he is sorry. Tripp snaps he is not. Claire begs Ben not to call the cops cos Tripp would go straight to the slammer. She pleads to do the right thing. Tripp drawls no favors so Claire brings up karma. Now is the time to prove he is a new man! Ben agrees. Claire thanks him. Tripp turns away. Claire thanks him a million times. Ben admits he wants his second chance. Claire smiles she is getting her chance with Tripp. He means much to her. Ben wishes her luck and warns her their association is over. He tightens her work tie a tad, leers to leave him alone and goes on his way ... Hope argues with Ciara that a man like Ben will never change! She starts to say if Bo were here and her voice trails off. In exasperation she exclaims Ben killed people in cold blood! Claire insists he was ill and is better. Hope compares it to Abigail, whom they assume is unwell again. The mother uses the p word. Protection. Ciara pouts she is not romantically involved with Ben anyway and storms out ... Back at the house Eric and Sarah agree they are getting along. She shares that the hospital in Chicago wants her back at work. He senses her hesitation. She admits breaking up with Rex changed her mind about being happy there. Eric suggests she stay in Salem ... On a park bench Will updates Sonny, who wishes Brady had not blabbed. Will believes he did them all a favor. Paul took it like the class act he is. He did not wish to stand in the way of Will and Sonny, who are destined to be together. Sonny is at the same time happy but sad for Paul. Will points out the program will help him walk. Sonny is pleased about that. Will admits he feared he would never see Sonny again. Sonny notes he was always on his mind. Even the miles could not come between their love. Will makes him promise not to leave again. He does and they romantically kiss on the park bench ... Tripp clears a table. Claire waits for him to thank her and then warns him not to make Ben change his mind. Tripp declares he is done with Ben and Ciara and announces he is moving out. Claire cannot accept it ... Sarah explains her life is still in Chicago but she will skype. Eric agrees to get the paperwork started on becoming Holly’s official guardian. They assume Maggie will be on board ... Sonny suggests he and Will head someplace private. Matter of fact he decides to take him straight home to his bed ... Tripp believes it is best he leave the loft. Claire disagrees. She would miss his friendship. Before he gets back to work she makes him agree to reconsider. Then she tells herself she is not letting go ... Outside the pub smitten smiling Ben helps smitten smiling Ciara pick up what she dropped. Their eyes lock ... As Hope approaches Doug’s Place a man in a black leather jacket creeps up behind her. She punches him out with a war cry and looks confused ... Will and Sonny kiss inside the Kiriakis mansion again and again. But before they can sneak upstairs the doorbell sounds. There stands Lothario Leo and he is alive!
