Roman, Kayla and Kim have flowers for Bo as they remember him at his grave. Sad times. Big brother Roman vows to watch over his family. He, Rafe and Shawn are committed to getting Hope out of the dangerous prison she does not deserve to be locked away in ... Meanwhile Ciara and Shawn visit mama Hope on this one year marking Bo's death. Ciara presents the prisoner with a leaf from the tree she and Bo planted together prior to his death. The kids declare they will take care of their tree so that generations of family will be able to play underneath in peace. Hope is touched. Shawn adds they plan on bringing her home as soon as possible ... At the pub the preparations are underway for the family Thanksgiving. Claire works with Joey, who steps out back to assist Steve. Enter excited Jade. Claire snaps she is not invited to the family gathering. Joey comes to stand at her side and Jade smugly smiles they are pregnant ... Mama Jen has a Thanksgiving meal on a tray for attic Abigail and a picture of her with infant Thomas. She suggests she come on down cos Chad and Thomas are coming to give thanks. The timing for a happy reunion would be perfect. Abigail admits she dared to approach Chad at the square but then Gabi appeared and interrupted their almost moment ... Meanwhile downstairs JJ opens the door to Chad and Thomas. JJ takes the baby as Chad wants him put down ... Ding dong! No one is in the living room so Chad opens the door to Gabi and Arianna in a ribbon. Chad is somewhat surprised to see her. Gabi is all smiles to see him. Ari is here to give Thomas his birthday present. Chad muses he missed Ari and she says her too ... Hope receives a family picture of herself with her two kids and cannot help but get tragic tears in her eyes. They hold hands in a show of unity. All of a sudden a strange alarm sounds and the lady guard arrives to escort the prisoner out of the room. Shawn is suspicious ... Claire calls Jade a liar. Joey laments it is no lie. Jade haughtily holds her head high. Steve steps up to praise Joey for doing the right thing. He asks Claire to tell no one here today but Jade disagrees, as she already believes herself to be family. Claire is horrified. Kayla quietly adds they have not yet received the test results but before she can continue the first guests come through the friendly pub door. They include the Carvers, Val and more Bradys, with Roman and Kim ... Theo is annoyed Val came and acts it. She offers to help Abe with the potatoes. Theo makes a face ... At Horton house JJ joins the gang in the living room. He kisses Gabi and takes Arianna to the kitchen to be his little helper. Chad diverts his gaze. When Gabi wonders, he admits Andre is not into the holidays and headed for drinks at the Salem Inn, while bff Sonny seems to be busy refereeing for Adrienne, who is torn between two lovers. Gabi babbles about a woman loving more than one man. She also brings up their spark and acts like it was nothing as he already stated. Chad agrees she is right, assuming she has feelings for JJ which is why she went back to him. She quips she loves that JJ loves her. Julie arrives with dapper Doug and the glam one grimaces. She gives Gabi the evil eye and accuses her of making her lose her appetite ... Outside the pub, Kim ends a call with Shane, who could not confirm anything about Theresa except that she was in Mexico with Mateo. Kim cannot help but worry for the report was very vague . Roman joins her outside. Depressed Ciara and Shawn now arrive ... Rafe visits Hope and the lady guard cannot stop their hug! He is here for her. She wants him to move on without her ... Chad defends Gabi to Julie. Doug wants no conflict today either. JJ appears and announces they are almost ready but he needs Jen to help with the Horton gravy. Alas Jen is in attic. Chad offers to go get her ... At the Brady pub Roman begins the giving thanks. He praises the blessings of his sisters and gives the floor to Kim, who mentions being thankful for Theresa, her eyes filled with worry. Now it is Kayla's turn. She gushes she is thankful for family, for her hubby and two kids. She praises Steve for never giving up. He is thankful for her looooove and their upcoming wedding. Jade wistfully sighs ... Abraham is thankful for Theo and his new lease on life, for which he credits Dr. Val. She grins she is thankful for family and old friends. She agrees to stay on hospital staff as long as Kayla needs her. That means at least a month ... Jade steps forward and boasts she is thankful for having a baby with wonderful Joey. Shock ensues. Roman goes pale ... Up in the elegant attic Abigail is with Jen marveling over the old birthdays. She laughs she found her stuffed elephant too. Jen smiles Jack drove miles to find Lulu for his little girl. Abigail now asks Jen to give it to Thomas. Jen wants her to do it. All of a sudden Chad is heard approaching calling for Jen. The two females freeze ... The long Brady table is set and the guests make merry. Jade rubs in eating for two at the meal and Kayla is clearly not pleased. Steve tries to help. Kim follows Kayla to the counter and notes there is nothing like a new life. Kayla is sorry about Theresa leaving and the sisters embrace ... Jen and Lulu the purple elephant go downstairs with Chad. Jen suggests he give it to his son for she knows Abigail would want him to have the sentimental stuffed animal. She is now surprised to see Gabi and is happy for JJ, who gushes she gave him a second chance. The meal is ready but first Julie has an announcement. She apologizes for her conduct and gives thanks for all the wonderful people in her world. Doug gets a roguish glint in his eye. Julie now prays for Hope's safety. Doug gets emotional with her ... Rafe insists he will never stop loving Hope and never stop trying to get her out! He asks about the visit from Ciara and Shawn. Hope happily reaches for the family photo they gave her but the picture has been cut up. Rafe lowers his voice as he lets her know he has Shawn is working on the appeal and advises her to watch her back. Sinister music is heard in the background ... Jade tries to get pity from Joey and excuses herself to get sick. Ciara and Claire cry not to marry her but he accepts the consequences and goes out for air. Steve goes after him and points out he is proud of his good man ... Up in the Horton attic Abigail gets her nerve and slowly walks out ... Thomas is sitting with Chad and they watch while his Arianna present is opened revealing a soccer ball! It was Gabi's idea. Doug and Julie go for the cake. Thomas sees Abigail standing on the staircase. She disappears lest Chad see her as well ... However when the cake is brought in she sneaks another peak around the corner. Chad looks up but now no one is there. He felt something ... Abe is ready to leave with Val and Theo agrees to go with them. Ciara complains Theo was supposed to spend time with her. He mutters he must protect his father from his date. Val senses the tension and tells Abe she will take a taxi home instead. They hug and he heads back to tell Theo. Ciara is sitting sadly at the counter and watches while Val calls her FAVORITE SON. She gushes about the good times with her old friend ... At Horton house the gang are having cake and Jen gets Chad to come back from the bottom of the staircase. He asks about anyone being there and she denies it ... JJ kisses Gabi, who sighs Arianna seems glum about not getting anything to play with like Thomas. The dutiful boyfriend heads to the attic to get toys for Ari to play with ... Outside Joey is standing with Jade and acting protective. She complains about the discomfort of being on her friend's couch. Kayla tries not to show her fury that the girl told the whole family about her condition. Steve hands her her phone, which has just received the test results from the lab. They confirm Jade is indeed with child. Joey wants her to stay with them. Steve waits for sweetness to respond. She clears her throat and offers the guestroom for her alone ... Back inside the pub, hawkish Roman is all ears as Rafe urges him and Shawn to get Hope out fast. The clock is ticking. This time it was the photograph, next time it could be her ... Meanwhile in the prison the lady guard makes Hope get moving ... Upstairs in the attic Abigail is alone again. Downstairs Gabi touches Chad's hand when he sighs he misses Abigail ... Upstairs Abigail woefully sighs she can never return to her family. Enter JJ. He looks like he has seen a ghost and gasps his sister's name. She speaks his name right back and returns his soap stare ... END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Jen bears witness to a moment. Brady is in a bad way sooo ... Ed and Kate connect. |
