Kate stirs and teases Jake about the nightmare of his lumpy bed. He grins Happy Thanksgiving ... Shirtless Chad dreams of catching Jake in bed with the fair Abigail, then wakes up alone ... Downstairs Abigail and Gwen wish one another a Happy Thanksgiving. Abigail asks her to tell Chad she went to Jen’s early after he wakes up. She has some making up to do. Gwen agrees and gets a wicked idea ... Jen apologizes to JJ for not feeling this Thanksgiving ... Ding dong! Julie opens her Horton door to smiling Jack and his beautiful flower basket, then shuts it ... Gwen admires Chad getting his shirt on. She lies she is looking for Abigail. He knows not her whereabouts and remembers his distressing dream ... Kate coos a hotel next time, just in case. No one can know, especially not DiMera heavy Chad, who would consider her affair with his badass brother a betrayal. Kate has a Thanksgiving with Lucas arranged and complains it will be Chez Nicole. Jake just wants to show her how thankful he is. Time for more morning delight ... JJ has just heard about Jen’s slap fest with Kate. Abigail arrives with a cross around her neck and a heartfelt apology. Jen notes she did nothing wrong. It makes her see red that Jack blamed his devoted daughter. He is the man who made a mistake ... Julie re-opens the door. Jack comes inside, stating his case. She folds her arms, fuming he cheated on Jennifer Rose with that Kate! Jack grovels. He wants to attend the Horton event and apologize to Jen ... Back at DiMera mansion, Chad gets his shoes on. He admits he dreamt he found Abigail with Jake at his workshop. Gwen pretends to give him a pep talk. He has not forgotten the sight of Abigail’s head on Jake’s lap. Gwen insists she was not sober. He also found her scarf at Jake’s workshop soooooo ... Jake has enjoyed his quicky with Kate, who agrees being away from the big house is best. Jake gets frisky again ... Her hands on her hips, Gwen shares her view that Jake is a trashy womanizer who would sleep with anyone. She calls Abigail too classy to even consider him and calls Chad the love of her life. Chad thinks they are solid but why did she leave their bed and not even leave a note? They must not end up like Jack and Jen ... Jack states his case to Julie about all the days he was at Jen’s side. Once, however, he slipped from his pedestal of perfect devotion and still regrets it to this day. He longs to have a happy Thanksgiving with the family. Julie gets emotional and understands. Grateful Jack uses the f word regarding Jen. Forgive ... Abigail wonders whether her parents will make up. Jen smiles today is for her offspring. Abigail happily goes to get Chad and the kids. Until later ... Julie believes true love can overcome. Jack is about to go when Jen appears at the door. Their eyes lock ... Gwen gets the kids’ odds and ends ready for Abigail and innocently asks how it went with Jen. Good but she is still broken hearted. Gwen hears things are good between mother and daughter. Abigail now asks about Chad. Gwen tosses a mitten to the floor and wonders where it went. Abigail picks it up and the topic changes back to Thanksgiving. Abigail invites Gwen to join them. Gwen sweetly suggests she also invite lonely heart Jake the bachelor ... Kate gets dressed as she and shirtless Jake discuss Jack and Jen. Suddenly, Chad is heard calling for Abigail. Kate whips her head around and bites her lip. Jake starts to sweat. Their fling must stay a secret! By the time Chad gets inside, Kate is hiding. Jake assures him he has not seen Abigail, but Chad notices the disheveled bed ... Gwen lies it would be best for the DiMera brothers to get along and asks Abigail not to admit it was her idea. Abigail the good wife gets to thinking ... Chad grills Jake, who grins he has been working on Stefano’s old sports car. The older models like his touch! Hidden Kate rolls her bedroom eyes. Chad deduces then no desk job! Jake wants both worlds! Chad wishes him a Happy Thanksgiving and leaves. Jake hopes he enjoys the turkey. Kate emerges, cross about his comment. He calls her a classic and helps her with her stylish jacket. Then he concludes they should share their affair with Chad. Kate suspiciously wonders what his game is ... Julie asks Jen whether she would mind Jack staying for the Thanksgiving gathering ... Chad finally finds Abigail at DiMera Mansion. Friendly Gwen goes to the car. Chad enquires why his wife left no note. Abigail explains he was sleeping, and she went to see Jen. He seems satisfied until she suggests they invite brother Jake the bachelor to the Horton gathering. No way no how ... Kate is appalled to hear Gwen is aware of their affair! Jake is just relieved she did not seem interested and so far has said nothing to no one. Just you wait ... Abigail feels badly brother Jake is alone. Chad snaps he is an ass! Abigail gets her coat. Chad follows but first bares his teeth like an angry wolf ... In the Horton foyer, Jen is sorry but would rather not see Jack on this holiday. Furthermore, he was so wrong to get angry at Abigail! Jack sadly sighs and steps outside. He heads to the empty pub for a beer ... Later at Horton house, Gwen gets a tad tense when Abigail tells her funny Julie is fierce when it comes to family. Gwen asks about Jake. Abigail admits the idea made Chad angry. JJ approaches and says hello to the pretty nanny, who steps away for a drink. Abigail asks her brother to get Jen from the kitchen. Julie takes the floor for tis time for a toast! Gwen hands Abigail an open bottle of sparkling apple cider that looks like a wine bottle. Julie still believes she has seen Gwen before. Gwen flashes back to spiking Abigail’s wine at the club and acts surprised. Jen and JJ stand side by side. Abigail leans her head on Chad. Julie makes her Thanksgiving toast, loyal Doug at her side. Gwen, however, stands alone. After Doug’s heartfelt toast, she actually looks ready to cry ... Alone again, Julie thanks devoted Doug for washing all the dishes. He praises her perfect sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes. She praises his turkey dressing. He is thankful for the girl he still loves truly madly deeply forever. They kiss in bliss. Always ... Torn Jen tenderly touches the beautiful flowers from Jack and starts to soften ... Home again, Gwen thanks Chad for not inviting Jake her sinister sinful cheating ex as Abigail asked and lies she was against it. Chad soap stares ... Kate brings leftovers to Jake ...
