Xander arrives at the office and is not impressed either ... Kate stops Jake from kissing her. He wonders why ... Chad and JJ are astounded Abigail gave them all the slip but not Gwen ... At the park, Jack awaits Jen’s reply to his plea for forgiveness and gets slapped across his handsome face. She refuses to cut him slack for sleeping with Kate, the same hussy who broke up her own parents’ marriage once upon a time ... Kate stops the kiss before it happens. She is not lonely! Jake sincerely wants the stunner. She talks age difference but that does not deter him ... Xander probes. Abigail exclaims Jack cheated! He exclaims she told the whole world! Jen did not need to know. Abigail counters he wrote all about it in a letter. Jack argues he and Kate agreed it was one mistake that no one would ever know. But then Abigail crashed their party as well as their lives ... Jen woefully weeps to JJ that Jack confessed to the affair with Kate ... After the lovin, stylish Kate is in her robe, shirtless Jake reposing in her bed with a goofy grin. They both feel wooooooonderful. Kate announces that was the first and last time ... Xander puts a report on his desk and informs Charlie that getting together with the Greek tycoon’s daughter could prove useful. But he must make a bold move and make her happy. He succeeded with the fair Sarah Horton but refuses to divulge details. He hands him the flowers from Phillip’s desk and sends him off to woo the woman of his dreams. Grateful Charlie gets going ... Theo heard all about Claire’s memorial planning and wonderful song for Ciara. Abe said it was great, so he asks to hear said song now. Claire is happy to oblige ... Jen updates disappointed JJ on his dad getting close to Kate while she was in her coma. One night they wound up in her room. JJ regrets he was not here to be Jack's confidant ... Jake grins about the great romp. Kate gets close and claims they cannot be together cos Chad cannot stand him. She cares what he thinks ... Gwen lies it was Abigail who wanted to drink after Chad left and she was determined to deliver her blow at the bash. She assures Chad she tried to help, and he seems to buy it ... Abigail blows up at Jack the cheater. He shouts he made one mistake only and rages about the letter. She should have forewarned him instead of publicly socking it to him and her mother in one swoop. He is sure as hell not proud of his daughter the snoop now! Abigail soap stares with angst ... JJ stands up with a sigh. Jen blames only Jack. JJ notes this time it was not the amnesia so how to explain his actions? Jen deduces he was in despair. JJ notes that is no excuse and his mom agrees ... Jack steps away, stands by some flowers, and Abigail apologizes. He wonders what came over her tonight. She admits she had a lot of champagne and it made her sort of snap. He blasts her for mixing meds and alcohol and can see is not herself. He orders her to head home for he cannot stand the sight of this version of herself ... Kate cannot risk making Chad mad. It took a while to build back his trust. Jake agrees and suggests they see one another in secret. Kate starts to smile ... Back at the Titan office Xander discovers a deception in the numbers. Phillip mysteriously transferred some funds ... Theo thought the song for Ciara was beautiful. Claire gushes in gratitude. He knows Ciara would have loved it. She loves he came just when she needed him most and kisses him. He kisses her back as Charlie appears holding the flowers. The smile fades from his face ... JJ insists mama Jen spend the night with him and they walk away from the rustic pub together ... Jack goes back to the now empty dark party where his dreams were dashed. He slides to the floor with a sigh, alone again ... Gwen speaks to Stefano’s portrait. She boasts Jack and Jen’s marriage got blown up. She toasts to the perfect plan. Abigail returns and she wonders where she went. She had to get away and saw Jack, who blamed her for ruining everything. Gwen pretends to be sympathetic ...
