BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS WITH DETAILS ADDED! Chad hears Hope confess. He steps back as the D.A. and Deputy Mayor decide the time has come to get statements. This is serious business! Justin announces he is Hope's attorney. He is the last one out and advises Hope to say nothing more to no one ... Meanwhile Andre confirms to Chad it is true. Chad, still clad in his Zorro costume, enters the interrogation room, protocol be damned. He is driven by his desire to find out what really happened. He suggests Hope stop playing Andre's game. She calmly insists she did it ... Steve is at the station trying to get something from the cops. He updates John on his phone that so far he has been unable to talk to Roman. Andre approaches stressed Steve and offers him a plan B ... Kayla is panicking in her coffin. Marlena believes their families will find them. Outside the death boxes Orpheus leers it will end soon. He pours gas on the coffins with glee ... Steve impatiently scoffs Andre is in no position to assist in any way shape or form. Andre quips he can make some calls for he travels in certain circles you see, and he did find clever Clyde. Andre adds Roman is too busy to be bothered at the moment for Hope has confessed to the murda of his fatha. Steve gets suspicious ... Chad seeks the truth. Hope just wants the world to know ... she believed Bo's death was Stefano's fault. She laments she lost it when Stefano laughed. Chad probes and deduces he did not have a weapon nor did he actually threaten her. It felt like provocation and Hope snapped. Chad rages she had no right to shoot Stefano in cold bold. He wonders whether he suffered much. Hope explains he laughed. Chad gets teary that he did so in the face of death and accuses her of playing God ... Cowboy Derek and fighter Paul are still in their Halloween costumes. Derek suggests Paul invite Sonny to the Halloween bash they are headed for. Sonny sees the text from Paul, and remembers the last time they spoke,what Paul told him about where they stood ... Andre bears news for Steve. According to his sources, warehouse 67 is where Marlena and Kayla are being held hostage. Steve cannot believe he is accurate but Andre assures him he has eyes everywhere ... Orpheus boasts of his bonfire plans and Marlena cries out for John. A flame comes from a lighter in hand. However, Orpheus wants to savor their emotional suffering. His pause shall be his downfall ... Steve calls Paul. Orpheus lives and he has Kayla and Marlena. He asks Paul to check out a lead on warehouse 67 but don't go there. Derek wants to be his backup boy ... Sonny sips his beer at home as he watches a game on TV and thinks about Paul. There seemed to be something there. Sonny is confused. Flashback of him finding Paul ... now Arianna calls and he teases he should take a daddy tax from her Halloween candy. Unseen unheard Gabi gets on the phone and updates him on the shocking news that Hope confessed to killing Stefano ... Back at the station Chad blasts Hope for framing Andre, killing Stefano, and what about the poor man in prison serving what should have been her sentence. She should pay! Chad tries not to cry. Hope is already in tears. Chad remembers the good Hortons and Abigail ... Hope apologizes. Chad snaps Stefano made her suffer but this is not alright! He walks out, now noticed by returning Rafe, Roman and Justin, who do not approve. Chad assures them he will not repeat what he heard. However, he now knows that the Bradys are no better than the DiMeras! He mentions living outside the law and storms off. Roman sighs to Justin he will have a hell of a time defending Hope if she keeps talking to people ... Justin confers with his culpable client. He feels Hope should fight as they can claim she was experiencing PTSD due to what happened to Bo. Hope wants him to stop. She will plead guilty cos she made a deal with devil Andre. Justin deduces she is protecting others. He finds out Rafe and Roman helped her cover up as co-conspirators ... Rafe follows Chad to the square. Chad bellows he betrayed him ...Paul and Derek pay Sonny an unannounced visit. Paul asks him to ask the men at the Kiriakis pier if they noticed anything odd down at pier 67 ... Laszlo the flunky comes back complaining that there are kids out there. Orpheus calmly steps out to get rid of them and clear the escape route ... Kayla tries to communicate with Marlena but gets no answer ... Rafe retorts Chad is in denial about Stefano's evil. He pushed and Hope snapped. How did he feel after what happened to Abigail, who was a victim of Ben? What happened to Hope with Stefano is the same ... Sonny finds out a foreman saw a truck with two coffins stopping at pier 67. Paul is really worried now that something is wrong. He calls John, who drawls he did good. John and Steve are going in and he tells Paul to contact security ... Orpheus has arranged to get away by bus. Laszlo is not in the least bit impressed. Orpheus laments they lost their millions but will make up for it with revenge. Kayla calls out for Steve one last time ... Orpheus lights the coffins on fire and watches the dancing flames like a loon ... Chad comes home to Andre at the mansion. He scathingly wonders why he did not share the proof with him before. Andre knows he would not have believed him! For so long Chad mistrusted him. Chad slyly asks how he managed to tape her confession or where he obtained it ... Back at the station Justin updates Rafe and Roman on Hope's deal with Andre. He will not go after them as long as Hope pleads guilty. They both protest. In fact, they will start their fight at the sentencing hearing ... Derek asks Sonny why he was not out this Halloween. Sonny states the great game was on. Derek laughs the Bears? He adds after John calls they should all go back to the big bash... Steve and John burst into warehouse 67. Orpheus leers they are too late. John gets to the coffins through the thick smoke. Steve deals with an attack from Laszlo, who loses, and ends up struggling with Orpheus and his gun. BANG! Orpheus has been shot and there is blood. He laughs and slides to the floor, then he goes limp like a man who has lost his life ... Kayla wakes up to Steve on a gurney where she is being given oxygen. Kayla is still scared so he soothes his baby and explains Marlena was taken to the hospital ... Paul gets the good news. Now he and Derek are in for a treat - Sonny in his old comic book costume! They both think he looks hot and when there is a touch down he jumps up to high five Paul so the outfit rips again! They laugh and opt to stay in with beer ... Steve and Kayla get confirmation that Orpheus IS dead ... Andre dances around Chad's questions. He claims all that mattas is that justice has been served. Chad becomes even more suspicious ... Back at the station, Rafe sadly tells Hope he is sorry and holds her hands. He was the one who came up with the cover up. He can still step up and not mention Roman. Hope refuses. This must end with her. Rafe accepts that for now but vows not to give up on her or on them. They emotionally exchange I love yous. They stand up to embrace and kiss. Roman now has no choice but to arrest her for the murder of Stefano DiMera. She soap stares with Rafe, both aware of the long uncertain road ahead ...
