There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... JJ tells the girl of his dreams he is not lying. Paige gets righteous about him drinking. JJ calls it chilling. She sighs she knows he had more than that one! He makes light of his day with Rory and the beers. Paige decides she does not know him. JJ senses something more. Why the upset? She holds up the pictures of his playeresque flirtation in the woods. The lad in love assures her it was … nothing. He does not even know the names of those girls. Paige blurts out she knows his secret too! That his dad assaulted Aunt Kayla! JJ is mortified … Clyde catches sight of Chad walking by and glances back down at the magazine article he has seen. Tammy Sue could do worse than that fella! He steps outside, approaches and praises Chad for his exciting life. He is sorry about what went down with his brother, the fact that they were not on good terms when he passed. Chad eyes his new fan, manages to get his name and casually states he will see him around. Then he goes. Clyde is smug as a bug. Jordan is at the hospital, pouring hot coffee, flashing back to Clyde's cruel accusation she murdered mama and then some! She spills the coffee. Marlena the emotional healer asks if she is alright. She replies she is just having a hard time. Marlena can relate and hopes both their days will improve. Jordan asks about the return of repressed memories, pretending it is presently happening to a patient. Marlena points out how powerfully upsetting it is for any patient to experience such a thing. Tormented Jordan and elegant Marlena walk and talk. As per studies, the brain compartmentalizes the most painful memories but they can return via talk therapy or hypnotherapy. She graciously offers to help the unnamed patient in need. Jordan promises to pass it on, careful not to let on that she was referring to herself … Ben is with a real estate agent at the park and thanks her for this opportunity. The landlord liked him and if all goes well he could move in by tomorrow … Abi catches up with Sonny at the club while waiting for Ben to get back. She gushes she has a gift to give Ari when she comes over. Sonny sadly states Will took her out of town for 6 months. Hollywood happened. Abi is sympathetic about the distance between them. Sonny notes he can still visit and explains they wanted Will to write the screenplay of Sami. He is officially on a leave of absence. Meanwhile the Chad article is OUT. He shows it to Abigail and the smiles fades from her fair face fast. She is flabbergasted Chad actually called EJ an arrogant ass. Chad appears and quips he called EJ an arrogant ass because he was one. The ponytail girl is not sure she should keep reading. Chad smoothly explains how and why her name was not included. He and Will agreed on it. She is grateful. Chad seeks a moment with Sonny to go over the new club proposal so they step away to their own table. Baristo Ben bounces in and kisses his girl, gushing he has the greatest news! Meanwhile Sonny is on a roll, having spent hours on preparing the paperwork. Chad suggests the stressed entrepreneur take a breather, he can run the show for a while. Chad soon takes a call and identifies himself as one of the club owners. He watches Ben and Abi chatting and naughtily agrees to answer away! The doctor cannot do the surgery for Eve EVER! There is a problem with her laryngeal nerve which would be forever damaged. She could lose her whole voice! She is up for the risk but Chung turns her down. She wants another opinion. He explains his colleagues concur and shows her the report. No one would risk damaging the nerve. Eve cries she cannot give up on her career. Chung will not change his mind, so Eve stomps out sobbing. Deep in the park, Theresa glows and gushes she is having Brady’s baby. Kristen’s eyes dart around and she picks up a rock in rage. Theresa is in seventh heaven. It will be Brady’s dream come true all thanks to her! Kristen feels even more sorry for her barren self and drops the rock. Theresa jumps. Anne thinks she is too anxious and wants to treat little mama to a nonalcoholic beverage. They smile and make for the pub. Kristen the cat comes out from behind the trees. She sends the trash can flying, screaming that the bitch cannot be! She unleashes her full fury on the trash, which does not fight back … Chad gets going as Ben gushes to Abi about this great new place he wants to share with her. More kissing … Soulful Sonny is aIone at the dark park, leaving a tender phone message for Will. It is a hello and he will talk to him later. I LOVE YOU. Marlena appears with a smile. Sonny confides he is missing Will and the baby. She notes their ceremony was the first and last she will ever perform. There is so much love between Will and Sonny. She just wants to make sure things are alright. Sonny unhappily admits they are not really alright ... Chad heads to the hospital and runs into Jordan, who starts to stammer about him wanting to date her. He calmly clarifies he is here to let the hospital know he is taking EJ’s seat on the board but sees the girl is stressed and suggests they go for coffee. Life is too short! He praises the miracle worker, who asks for a rain check on coffee as well as dinner one day. There is something she needs to do, she has just decided. Chad gets glib about the scandalous article she will notice today and saunters off. Jordan now finds the courage to text Clyde, requesting an immediate meeting … JJ demands to know who told. Paige points out it is not important and wishes he would have confided in her. JJ fumes it was her beech Aunt Theresa or her own mother. No and Paige tells him to stop. JJ snaps she should stop! She is sorry. He refuses to discuss this now. Paige accuses him of wanting to go back to the girls at the beer bash. She does not know him but she sure knows they are through! JJ hangs his head as she slams the door behind herself ... Eve is drowning her sorrows with a glass of wine at the square. Along comes Eric, seeking Theresa. Eve gets another glass of vino and suggests he join her. The former father perceives she is troubled and wonders why. Her surgery hit a snag. He is sorry. She sniffles she shall overcome and would rather discuss HIM. She asks the holy picture taker about his career. Eric pulls his hand away and is relieved to get a call. Eve gets back to drinking alone, cries, pays the bill, and goes on her lonely way … At the pub, Theresa wonders how to tell Brady quickly. Madame Milbauer wants to know if the pregnancy is fake. Theresa replies with a resounding NO. She feels this is her miracle, her ticket to bliss… Black leather Kristen returns to her hotel room. She calls a certain someone with something specific in mind. She talks cryptic, the language of the DiMeras … Sonny explains he could never have asked Will to walk away from that wonderful chance. He understands after what she went thru, Sami needed him and Ari to be with her and the kids. Marlena sweetly suggests he go down to surprise the gang. Sonny is swamped with work but will see what he can do. Marlena the couples expert stresses the importance of close communication. That is the key. Sonny thanks his supportive mother-in-law for the advice and they share an emotional embrace. The music plays at the club. Chad walks in. Ben gets a call. The apartment is OFF! He had a bad work reference. Ben insists Sonny is on his side but the landlord spoke to Chad the cad. Ben glares at his nemesis across the room … Clyde meets Jordan at the park and drawls it warms his heart she is not coming between him and Ben. Jordan wants to discuss what he said. Clyde grins. How she murdered mama … Theresa admits to Anne she got her baby news on the phone, via her calendar app that showed she was late. That led to a pregnancy test and voila! Positive. Anne hopes she is positive it is Brady’s baby. Theresa is confident it can only be Brady’s as she was only with him these past months … JJ drowns his sorrows with more beer and places a call to Paige, who sobs and ignores it. She now calls a friend and arranges to stay at the dorm tonight. The trembling girl will be there soon … JJ leaves a desperate message about being sorry for screwing up and the big secret. He was scared he could be just like Jack, hence his withdrawal. But he knows he is no player. Someone was setting him up to look like one … I LOVE YOU. Piano music plays as he sorrowfully hangs up … At the dark park, busy business owner Sonny gets off his phone. Abigail approaches with the gift for Ari. He smiles he will give it to her directly when he visits hubby and baby. Abi now shares Ben’s big apartment news … Ben calls Chad a son of a bitch and punches him. Chad smirks … Jordan wonders what Clyde meant about the other thing he mentioned that sounded like a sin … Paige cries she needs her mother but sends a text instead, that she is staying at the dorm with Daphne tonight. Eve reads it, weeps, and plays a song, remembering the glory days. Beautiful dreamer. Eve cries her heart out as she cannot sing like a song bird anymore. Knock knock! There stands JJ... Theresa assures Anne this baby is going to make everything right. Madame Milbauer melodramatically mentions Brady could sue for full custody, send her to the slammer, and raise the baby with Kristen. Theresa insists Kristen will never be able to get her hands on her Brady baby… A DiMera thug goes to Kristen’s room and coldly confirms the job she wants can be done tonight! Kristen gets a wicked look in her eye. She has big plans …! THE END NEXT ON DAYS: Danger danger! |
