Steve searches the room at the Salem Inn that is filled with flowers. Kayla walks in and is miffed he sent her an anonymous text to meet him here. He tells sweetness he did no such thing and shows her his own text summons. Then who? He soon spies a bottle of champagne but Kayla refuses to try the bubbly and urges him not to for it could be tampered with. Steve the risk taker would rather throw caution to the wind and make the most of the moment. After all, it is the same as the bubbly that was served at their wedding ... Rafe and Lani are at the police station. Mayor Abe arrives and muses the killer case is closed. Lani steps out with Theo to give the mayor and dedicated detective their privacy. Instead of discussing the case, Abe probes Rafe on his opinion of Lani, from a personal standpoint. Meanwhile Theo impresses Lani with his baseball stats ... Bo has come home with downtrodden Hope. Ciara is elated to see her parents together at long last and offers to make lunch. Hope sighs she is tired and goes upstairs for a rest. Ciara wishes Bo had followed her cos her parents belong together forever. Bo gets choked up and praises his mature daughter ... Alone in the bedroom Hope spies a garbage bag in the corner. Much to her horror, it contains her blood stained wedding dress ... Reliable Joey is assisting boss lady Caroline at the pub. He thinks she should take it easy instead of taking charge so soon after leaving the hospital and taking his tips. Caroline complains Pete could not come in. Joe assures her he is here to help but he will be keeping those tips ... Lani and Theo are searching for opening season tickets online ... Hope is having a breakdown upstairs, screaming as she cuts up her bloodied wedding dress to rid herself of all things Aiden. Bo the hero comes running to console her and she cries she cannot stay in this house anymore. He holds her close ... Kayla now suspects Steve simply wants one thing to lead to another now that he has her alone in this romantic room of flowers ... Abe wants a word with Theo and takes him into a room for privacy. Lani invites Rafe to a game. He smiles and suggests they keep their relationship professional. It is the right thing to do, especially now that they are short staffed without Hope here ... Meanwhile Abe drops a bombshell on autistic genius Theo - that Lani is his sister. The smiles fades from the teen's face. So his mother???? Abe explains her mother is Tamara, a woman he knew before he met Lexie. Theo tries to take it in. He does not like change and needs to process. He becomes withdrawn and excuses himself to take a walk for some fresh Salem air. Abe sighs with worry ... Hope shivers on the big bed. Bo comes back, having gotten rid of the wedding dress for good. He climbs in bed next to her and holds her. Hope laments she is tired. Bo tries to make her feel better by reminding her of the stellar support system around her. She has Doug and Julie and Shawn and ...Hope sadly sits up. And him? Of course she has him. ALWAYS. Hope does not notice the tragedy in his eyes when he tells her she is the love of his life forever. She smiles amid her tears and they tenderly kiss. One thing leads to another. Romantic music is heard as they undress and kiss, the sunlight streaming in their bedroom. There is light and beauty all around them... Steve assures his baby he would never have set this up cos he knows she is going through a tough time due to brother Bo dying. Kayla concedes he did bring him home, thank God ... Bo and Hope come together as one, their eyes filled with love, in their bed ... Hope has no idea it is their last time together ... In the afterglow Hope is sleeping like a baby but not Bo. He is experiencing sharp pains in his head and kisses his sleeping beauty, emotionally telling her he loves her. But he still has much to do so he slips out of bed, gets dressed, and heads for the station ... Steve and Kayla conclude the texts that summoned them to the romantic room were from an anonymous matchmaker. Steve points out the person who sent their threatening messages must have been a different individual altogether. One who is dangerous ... At the town square, Theo sees pal Joey and asks what it is like to have a sister. He admits he just found out Lani is his sister. Joey thinks she is a looker. Theo tells him not to talk about her that way. Material girl Ciara appears and explains this time she was shopping for her mom. She hears the latest about Theo's new sister and is very upbeat. Theo gazes at her as she assures him his friends are here if he needs to talk and gives him a hug. She flounces off and friend Joey teases him for his crush ... Hope wakes up all alone in the big bed. Alas Bo is gone. She starts to stress again ... Bo would like a word alone with Rafe at the station. He explains he is not going to be around much longer and Hope is going to have a long hard road to recovery ... Rafe hopes he is not bailing on her cos Hope needs him. Bo tells it like it is. He is dying of a brain tumor. Rafe gasps that sucks and urges him to get more than one opinion. Bo knows Kayla was right and admits the bad guys made him feel unwell, he just did not want to think about it. He now has a favor to ask ... Rafe promises he will do anything. Bo believes when the time comes, the kids will need Hope and Hope will need the support of Rafe. Rafe replies she has family. Bo agrees and announces he has seen them together. He knows Rafe is someone she can lean on who also loves her. Rafe does not deny it. Bo gets choked up that he knows Rafe would never let her down. Rafe gets choked up as well ... Hope creeps downstairs, feeling alone and afraid. She hallucinates Aiden is before her dressed in black with a back mask,and starts to panic. The apparition vanishes and frail Hope falls apart ...Bo explains he is running out of time and leaves to tell Caroline, who has already called him to the pub. Rafe feels awful ... Steve is touched that sweetness is so worried about him tasting the untested champagne. She laments she does not want to lose him. He calls her and the kids the best thing that ever happened to him and gets closer, murmuring he wants her back. Kayla can no longer deny her feelings and they share a dreamy kiss ... Bo is unsteady on his feet and struggles to deal with the sharp pain in his head as he approaches the Brady pub. He walks in ready to tell his mother he is dying, only to be greeted with a cheer of SURPRISE! The soap hero turns to face the welcome home party and breaks into a touched smile ... THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Abigail's DiMera baby will not wait! Marlena is needed for two missions. Bo's family will have to face the music. |
