There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the hospital, a nosy nurse has a gift box for Jordan that arrived from Chad. Jordan is both bemused and moved by the homemade walkie talkie inside. The sweet note states he is ready to talk if she is. She flashes back to his sincere kiss, then dismisses the nurse’s comment about the post op player (ball player) also having a crush on her. Jordan gushes she is not into games and flounces off to find her new beau … At the club, busy blue suited slick Chad gets off his phone with busy Sonny and then confirms to Ben that his partner is on board with him being full time at the new club. Ben fumes. Chad dismisses him, telling him to take it up with Sonny if he opposes. Chad now steps outside to answer a call from faraway suited Stefano, who announces IT IS TIME! Chad the trusted son retorts for what exactly. Stefano chuckles when his latest paramour Simone brings him another drink. He asks for a moment and sips it smugly. Then he states it is time to take down Katarrrrrrina, who has taken the bait and is ripe for ruin! The name of the game is International Energy Futures. He orders Chad to lie to Katarina that he has no interest in that company, which is supposed to be a secret. Chad is intrigued. It sounds BIG. Stefano talks down to him, telling him to be a good boy, and Chad plays along. The phoenix cannot wait to reclaim his throne! Harold the dutiful DiMera butler has an announcement for Kate at the mansion. Mista Weston is here. Clyde walks on in and Kate asks the butler to shut the door. Henderson and his ruffled feathers do just that. Within seconds Clyde grabs Kate in a passionate kiss. She seductively states it was uninvited. He, however, makes no apologies and offers to leave if she does not liiiiiike the attention. She invites him for a drink instead. Clyde enjoys his whiskey. She purrs he plays up that accent and has no restraint. He roguishly offers to stop. She flirts she is not sure she should mix biz with pleasure and he did hand her that hefty check to invest. Clyde likes a woman who knows her mind and kisses her again. In walks Chad! He is not in the least bit amused. Out of all the rooms in the house … Casual tired Dan is on the phone, explaining patient Paul is expected to sleep the rest of the day. He is off but available should anything come up. Nicole arrives in her workout wear and declares this is a day of fun for him to relax! He questions that. She promises peace and serenity. Time for some yoga but Dan does not do yoga. Nicole is unable to change his mind. She notes his shoulders are tense and starts to massage. He groans and is grateful for that, then suddenly decides to try yoga instead. Dan does not seem to want to get carried away with his old flame. Fit Nicole rolls out the mats. She performs the triangle pose with ease but Dan is a petrified pretzel as she tries to stretch him. She pushes and he groans he is done! Dan the man prefers football. He throws her his football though she fears her manicure could be at risk. Dan drawls he can show her to throw in a way that would not hurt her girl nails. Nicole the nail diva agrees and they make for the park … At the house of Kiriakis, Brady is reading a memo with a grimace. Victor assures him he earned this promotion. Brady scowls he is a screw-up. The Greek disagrees. He is mighty proud he faced his demons and his work has been great. Brady alludes to wicked women being his downfall. Victor points out Kristen has left the building. Brady broods. He meant Theresa! Victor makes light of him misjudging the hellcat. Brady blurts out she was almost pregnant with the next heir! The Greek stares darkly … Theresa is a wreck when she appears at Eve’s apartment. They are both having a tough time. The sad sisters have a glass of wine and share their stories. Theresa feels sorry for her sister’s singing dreams being dashed. Eve admits the night was baaaad but she got through. Theresa wants a name! Who did she get through it with? Eve vehemently denies using someone to forget her sorrow. Theresa stammers she is sorry and asks about things with Paige. Eve gets choked up about her helping her. Theresa asks if she now approves of JJ. Eve will only say that boy will not come between her and her daughter, then changes the subject to her sister’s latest drama. Theresa cries she had a false pregnancy and now looks like a fool to Brady. She drinks up and gets irate how he doubted he was her baby daddy. In the end she was utterly humiliated. Eve agrees he is a sob. Buuuuuut she did almost kill his father and blame it on Brady. That would explain the trust issues. Eve cackles about the blood test she took but Theresa is still hurting. Eve thinks she should have double checked the home pregnancy test. Theresa gets a splitting headache when Eve uses the word “lucky” … At Horton house, Paige is curious about JJ’s non-lie. He flashes back to his tawdry fling with her mother. He admits to doing a bad thing. They exchange I love yous anyway though he is torn and feels terrible, He is not good enough for the girl of his dreams and says so. She wonders why. He seemed alright before. She tenderly touches his arm. He sighs and sits down, explaining he was holding a photo of Jack ... Paige implores him to confide in her but guilt ridden JJ cannot even meet her gaze. He recounts how he trashed the town square once upon a time when he learned what Jack had done. Back then he was causing trouble for Dan and Jen, doing drugs. Paige insists he has changed but JJ thinks he will never really change. When she mentioned what Jack had done, he had an angry outburst. That is why he feels unworthy. He hates being that angry guy around her. At the mansion, Chad oozes sarcasm but must speak with Kate privately. Cordial Clyde discreetly departs. Kate wonders what the problem is. Stefano. The time has come to get to work! Papa phoenix wants her to know he is NOT interested in the energy futures. Kate thinks she is one step ahead of Stefano and boasts she will finalize that acquisition deal before the markets are open! Chad drawls she feels her position at DiMera Enterprises will be solidified by the grateful board and adds he has something to share that concerns him … Jordan heads to the club and looks around. Baristo Ben deduces she is desperately seeking Chad! They sit with beverages and he questions whether she is even on his side about his apartment – the one he was able to snag after a little help from papa Clyde. Ben wants to make a deal. He offers to support her Chad association if she supports his new place. But it won’t be easy, as he fears Chad the snooty player is up to no good and will break her heart. Jordan insists Chad has been a gentleman, not a game player. Ben insists he knows the kind of cad Chad is … Clyde appears and defends the young DiMera as someone solid, a good match for Jordan! Ben thinks he is overstepping, but must get back to work. That is when Jordan flies at him for butting in. Clyde suggests Chad has issues similar to Tammy Sue and that could make for a good bond. Jordan does not give a damn and storms off, forgetting her important hospital ID on the table. Clyde sneakily pockets it and then assures suspicious Ben he only wants his sister to be happy. At the sunny park, the birds are singing as Dan teaches Nicole the art of the throw. She has already sent the football flying into a little old lady’s walker and a car window. She throws it down on the grass with a war cry. A little boy asks Dan to tie his shoe. Dan wants to teach him how to do it and hands Nicole his football again. Bad move! Victor hears Brady’s story and reasons he was right. Brady did not let the schemer play him anymore! Brady flashes back to her insistence she was pregnant, their discussion that followed. The more he considers, the more he concludes Theresa was not playing any game at all … Theresa is in tears. Eve gently explains she is just like her, believing what she wants, then having to pay the price …. JJ stammers he should not be around Paige anymore. She laments he told her he loved her. Was it not true? Ben boasts to Clyde he will be registered for college by January. Clyde has the cash ready and is excited his boy will do him proud by getting that college diploma. It is the only thing he seems sincere about. He walks out of the pub and grins at Jordan’s hospital ID. Back at the hospital, Jordan leaves an anxious message for Marlena, then stammers she will get the information on her own and ends the mysterious call … The little boy thanks Dan for his help. Nicole impatiently throws the uncooperative football at a tree. It bounces off and hits Dan in the head. He is out cold! Nicole panics. Daniel?! Brady believes Theresa is an intelligent woman. Perhaps she read the test wrong. She was convinced she was with child. The Greek grumbles it matters not, he has finally managed to shake her! Meanwhile Theresa has decided to go have a drink, feeling ever so strange. Perhaps the drug Dr. Mandrake administered has not worn off, the one she does not remember … Paige promises to let boyfriend JJ have his space as he sorts through things. She gives him a kiss and suggests they talk tomorrow. JJ hangs his head ... Stefano enjoys the expensive champagne with seductive Simone and toasts to destroying the woman who betrayed him … Kate assures Chad she will keep his name out of it but Chad bears news. He hands her some papers he had drawn up. Kate reads it and weeps. YOU BASTARD! Chad finishes his drink with a smirk. This is HIS time ... THE END Ahead on DAYS: Kate is blackmailed.
