There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Aiden summons Hope to the club for a tea and tete-a-tete. The kids are busy with play practice and he wants to make up for the other night. If only Hope could get off work! Nicole appears in her foxy little black dress and exclaims Aiden is the answer to her prayers! She has been assigned to do a piece on professionals who have relocated to Salem and gushes he is so photogenic. Aiden is not interested. In fact, he is peeved. Nicole wants to make a pitch and points out they are pals. Hope is amused. Glam Nicole is not giving up. This could be a free ad for his law firm. Aiden protests a tad too much. Detective Hope’s antennae go on high alert … Once Nicole has left their table, she mentions his reluctance to discuss Portland, like when she saw him with Bree. Aiden worriedly wonders if she has seen her again. Hope casually sips her tea. No, why? He makes light of his casual question. Hope now excuses herself, her demeanor distant. Aiden sits down with a sigh. Nicole comes back and teases Aiden to tell her his scandalous story. The one he is obviously hiding … Abi is at the hospital bright eyed and bushy tailed, eager to get back to work. Kayla lets her know there is no need to deal with HR Anne for now, She also feels badly about her and Ben fighting. Abi sighs he thinks Chad is manipulating her. Is he? Kayla alludes to his history. Perhaps Chad wants to make things up to her or perhaps … Abi finishes he might be trying to cause trouble for her and boyfriend Ben. He makes Ben see red! Kayla points out Ben is a working guy who is doing his best but Chad is his rich boss who was Abi’s first love, so who could blame Ben for his insecurity? Abigail gets it. Outside the pub, Sonny is pleased to run into Ben, Ben grumbles Chad went and got Abi rehired. Sonny explains how unfair they all thought it was that she lost her job from being with EJ. Sonny suspects Chad was righting a wrong. Ben does not buy it. Sonny states Ben has had issues with Chad being around Abigail and his sister too. Which girl is he really worried about?! He thought Chad and Ben had worked things out. Ben admits to feeling insecure. Sonny assures him Abi wants him so there is no competition He now escorts him somewhere to show him something he knows will put the smile back on his face ... At the park, Jordan and Chad are locking lips. Rafe emerges and is shocked by the sight! Even more so when he hears Jordan admit she made the first move. Chad plays the part of the good guy to perfection. He is always here if she needs to talk. Jordan gushes she is grateful but will work this out on her own and leaves for work, her cheeks aglow. Chad gushes he hopes to see her soooon. Once he is alone, cowboy Rafe comes out and gives him the evil eye. He knows what he is up to! Chad innocently asks why he would be up to anything. Cos he always is. Rafe is still smarting about the role he feels Chad played in the downfall of his sister. Chad haughtily claims the DiMera name is cleaner than the name Hernandez, given he had two sisters in the slammer! Rafe is finding it hard to show restraint. But he is aware that Chad plays a game of provoking. He leers he had better not hurt Jordan. Chad scoffs Rafe set the standards bar low by climbing in bed with his ex. Unlike Rafe, he has no intention of hurting Jordan. Rafe mutters to himself and exercises self-control as the one he considers a s.o.b sweeps past ... At the house of Kiriakis, Brady is speechless. Theresa repeats she is with child – HIS. Brady starts to laugh and laugh and laugh. She swears it is true. But Brady does not believe anything, especially something she swears on. Besides, the last thing he would want is a baby with the likes of her. She sighs that is hurtful. He rages she played him while he was high and isolated him from loved ones. Then she lied about Liam, endangering her friends, and attacked his father! Theresa cries that was then, this is now and now she is pregnant. She can prove it too! PR Abigail is introduced to new patient Paul by Kayla. She thanks him for the generous donation. Kayla exits. Abi asks about his shoulder injury and assumes he was playing ball as a hobby. Paul finds her naiveté refreshing, even more so when she wonders why he made the donation an anonymous one. After the meeting, Abi discusses the secret patient with Jordan, who was also required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Jordan is elated her pal has her job back. Abi asks about Ben’s whereabouts. She needs to clear something up with him. Jordan has not spoken with him. She soon walks into Paul’s room and is flabbergasted. She calls the famous pitcher someone she hates cos he beat her fav tem. She would love to have his autograph, however! Paul flirts he is looking forward to working together. So is she … Sonny surprises Ben by taking him to a wonderfully spacious affordable apartment which is also furnished. His friend is renting it as he had to leave town. The landlord tells excited Ben that with Sonny vouching for him, he can move in right away. Ben cannot believe his good fortune. Sonny is all smiles. He likes to spread sunshine … Theresa admits after they broke up, she stopped taking the pill. But Brady could have used protection! Bottom line is they are having a baby. When Brady blurts out it might not even be his. Theresa slaps him across the face. Her eyes mirror the hurt she is feeling. She cries unlike him, she does not sleep around. From their first moment together, there has not been another man! The billionaire heir wants a test - a trustworthy blood test taken at the hospital. She agrees and calls up Aunt Dr. Kayla, asking for an immediate pregnancy test. Brady’s eyes widen as he considers the possibilities. Aiden claims he had a bad day and offers to find Nicole another professional to interview. Nicole wants him to drop the act. It takes one to know one and she can see he has a secret! Supercop Hope must suspect as much. Meanwhile Hope is hard at work on her computer at the station. Rafe walks in her office and catches her off guard. He sits and they talk. He is sorry about her divorce and he does not want to pry buuuuut he knows she is dating Aiden Jennings. Seems like a standup guy. She is right to move on. Rafe stammers he is sorry. He spies Ciara’s framed photograph and adds it must be hard for them. Hope confides there is something troubling her, something that is not related to Bo or their divorce. Reliable Rafe is listening. At the square, Sonny congratulates Abi on the reinstatement. She admits she was hard on Ben and accused him of jealousy. She is hoping to find him. Sonny grins he is not at the club. Matter of fact, he happens to know exactly where he is! Meanwhile Ben is moving into his new apartment. If only Abigail were here with him … Theresa shows up at the hospital with Brady. Dr. Kayla deduces they did not plan this. Theresa tries to be mature and wants the test fast so Brady will believe her. Kayla takes her off to get started, not approving, but not wanting to comment. Brady says thank you and sits down with a sigh, waiting … Nicole the investigative reporter has no intention of exposing Aiden but warns him to be cautious. The bigger the secret, the bigger the regret … Hope tells Rafe that Aiden is a good man. He wonders then what. She knows someone from his Portland past and it made him nervous. Then he cut off Nicole when she wanted to run a story on him. Hope admits she was about to search online but Aiden would not approve. Rafe realizes she is concerned and offers to do the digging. She will probably be relieved after. Hope decides no, she would feel guilty so she will let it be and wait for him to tell her. Rafe can relate as he had the same situation with Jordan, but that was a bust. Hope is sorry and gives her friend a hug. Rafe drawls he is here for her. She is grateful. Once alone, Hope is reminded of what she has at stake - Ciara - and types in Aiden Jenning’s name, pausing … Sonny updates business partner Chad that the electric for the new club will be extra costly due to the new code. Chad assures him he is still in! Sonny appreciates it and lets him know he ran into Abigail. He praises Chad for getting her the job back and hopes it was for the right reason, to make her happy. She has been through so much and deserves to be happy. Ben is a good guy for her despite Chad trying to push his buttons … Abigail appears at Ben’s new place with a housewarming gift in a bag and a smile. He smiles back and they touch hands… Rafe runs into Brady waiting at the hospital. Brady calls this mistake the most colossal one he has ever made. Theresa has overheard. Rafe says to hang in there and goes. Theresa steps forward … Aiden insists Nicole knows nothing about him. She lists her own past lies, from porn star to baby snatching, to the recent Eric lie that cost her their relationship. Nicole now concludes the truth always comes out in the worst way! Aiden gets tense. She wishes him luck and leaves in her mini. Aiden is thinking … Hope is searching. She feels guilty but she continues to search online until she stumbles upon an article about Aiden Jennings being held for questioning in his wife’s death. Then she covers her mouth in horror …!
