At the hotel, Justin suggests next time Adrienne and Lucas lock lips with the door closed! They break apart. Adrienne is anxious. Lucas stares with defiance, Justin waltzes into the room and sarcastically states he has something to say to his wife,Lucas is welcome to stay and hear it as well ... John and Tori meet at the pretty San Francisco park. She has had a change of heart, noting she notices much of John's strong character in their son. So she wants them to have a relationship and intends to tell Paul. John praises her as a good parent and later touches her cheek as she sheds tears ... Back in Salem Sonny is friendly as he answers Paul's call. He admits he had him on his mind as it is baseball season. Paul updates him on John trying to reach out to him and following him to San Francisco. Sonny thinks he should give him a chance. Paul points out that would mean moving back to Salem ... Stefano solemnly speaks with Chad from his long flight. He laments this must be done! After the call, Chad has an unexpected visit from Kate. The stylish one states she knows all about DiMera owning Sonix ... Will opens his door to Clyde the monster. Clyde admires the little girl in worried Will's arms and adds how tragic her mama is in a dangerous prison where anything can happen. He now wants to come inside ... Lucas thinks they can all be grownups. Justin gets even more sarcastic the way smart attorneys do ... Kate deduces that Stefano masterminded the Sonix acquisition. Chad does not hide his disinterest in anything she has to say ... Arianna recoils as crooked Clyde coos what a shame it would be for her to lose her daddy. Will hastily puts his daughter down in the other room. When he returns, Clyde is grinning at a displayed photo of Will, Sonny, and Arianna and gushes about their happy little family. The son of Sami states as it turns out, he has no time to write the story of Clyde, as asked by his editor. But Clyde now wants him to do his article ... Chad accuses Kate of games. She accuses him of trying to hide the fact that he is tragically sad ... On his flight to Italia, Stefano listens to a loud hymn. The phoenix fights back the tears ... Paul pours out his thoughts on John to Sonny. Sonny goes silent. Paul wonders why. Sonny sighs he was waiting for him to tell him that HIS father paid him a visit in San Francisco ... Paul does not deny it and deduces Sonny is already away of what they discussed, Sonny knows Justin suggested Paul come back to Salem ... Justin lectures Lucas for hiding key facts from him, like how Will cheated on Sonny and Lucas went after his wife. He talks coarsely and Lucas threatens to get physical. The accusations fly until Adrienne explains she should speak with Justin alone. Lucas doesn't like it but respects her wishes and leaves. Justin and Adrienne take their heated discussion back to the Kiriakis mansion ... Caroline is back at the pub. She assures Roman that Sami fares well and wishes she could say the same thing about Will. It is as though he is doomed to repeat his mother's old mistakes ... Sonny lets Paul know his position. He is putting his relationship with Will back together but if he wants to be in Salem to know his father, he is fine with that. Paul realizes he can expect nothing as he had hoped and promises to let Sonny know his final decision ... Chad refuses to reveal his thoughts to kate. She tells him to lie low and stay out of the battle between bad guys Stefano and Victor. He notes she made no mention of Clyde ... Clyde would rather Will write his article instead of the next guy. Will protests. He gets a call and Clyde orders him to take it. Tis Zoe, wanting the story fast so Will must agree to go to Poplar Bluff today ... Chad is not impressed Clyde the bottom feeder sent his girlfriend on his behalf. Kate assures Chad she is here of her own accord. She reminds him she is not his enemy and exits ... Adrienne accuses Justin of going to San Francisco to see Elsa the tramp. He clarifies he went to see Paul, so he would come back to Salem for Sonny! Adrienne disagrees, explaining Will is with Sonny. Justin snaps he cheated ... Will has to pack and then he is off to Poplar Bluff interviews. He asks for some contacts. Clyde gives him none and reminds him he knows exactly where to find his daughter if he ever wants to. Point taken. After crooked Clyde is gone, Will woefully holds the photo and glances back at his daughter's bedroom ... By the time Sonny gets home Will is packed. Sonny is exasperated and angry at his about-face. Meanwhile in San Francisco Paul meets his mother to attend an exhibition. He is rather curt with John, who has been singing his son's praises to Tori. Tori emotionally urges Paul to give papa a chance and get to know him ... Adrienne accuses Justin of being suddenly against the son of Lucas ...At DiMera mansion Chad has a contract ready. Lucas reacts with suspicion when Chad offers him the plum position of head of Countess Wilhelmina of DiMera Enterprises ... Stefano is furious at the castle window where his daughter fell to her death ... Justin insists his only issue is that Will cheated on his son ... Chad informs Lucas this was his idea not his father's and sweetens the high power big money deal by declaring he would also be able to get revenge on Kate ... Kate meets Clyde at the club and updates him on Stefano ordering the article not Chad. Clyde updates her on asking Will to write his article as he wants him to and assures anxious Kate he would never threaten any member of her family. Kate kisses him wildly ... Paul agrees to fly to Salem with John. John gets choked up and tenderly thanks Tori for being such a good parent ...Paul texts Sonny he is Salem bound. Sonny blows off Will's attempt at a goodbye kiss and Will woefully walks out with his bags, insisting he is doing this for them. Sonny scoffs ... Adrienne thinks Justin is no different for he too cheated. She walks away to ask Henderson to arrange separate bedrooms ... A frown creases Lucas' brow as Chad awaits his reply. Lucas mulls over the revenge part of his new position and nods slightly ... Back in Italia, Stefano is King of the Castle and the Italian government rep he has summoned steps in uncertainly. Father phoenix holds up a photograph and asks for confirmation that this was the woman responsible for the demise of his beloved Kristen. A soft YES in Italian is spoken. Stefano tears up the picture of his target and lets the pieces flutter to the floor. This means WAR! THE END! Ahead on Days: Nicole is in over her head. Dan and Jen have different ideas of the truth. Romeo JJ and Juliet Paige anticipate forever. But Cole and Eve are counting on never! |
