There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS: Los Angeles-bound Kayla and Fynn are forced to stop a night at a hotel. His wheels have a problem. He wants to get them burgers and fries for her sodium and will be back soon. Kayla suddenly gets a splitting headache ... John and Steve are researching scorpion tattoos from Carl's California P.I. office. John knows there are no biker gangs with scorpion tattoos. Steve still realizes Joe is in with the wrong crowd given he was the getaway driver. He blames Jade. Carl calls with confirmation that the scorpion tattoos are linked to the commune in the desert to the east. John finds a photo of the den mother online and notes her white scorpion tattoo. Steve soap stares ... Outside in their almost paradise, Jade gushes she loves belonging but Joey worries this is like the Mansons. He also hates Dirk's sucky singing in the background. Jade is flying high ... Rafe shares some dessert from mama with Hope at the station. Rory is hauled in on a drug bust. Back to work ... Aiden visits Chase, who is disgusted and says he is dead do not ask if he is okay. Aiden announces he intends to argue he was not in his right mind when he attacked Ciara. Chase scoffs he will say he is crazy. Aiden notes there is a facility nearby. Chase accuses him of really working any angle to get Hope back ... Rafe and Hope play good cop bad cop. Rafe rages Rory was caught with 5 kilos. Hope lets him have something to drink. Rory tells them he was tricked into hiding Snowball's stash and he was stoned when they left it all on his lap. Hope believes him. Rafe acts suspicious. Hope tells Rory to write their names down. He soap stares ... Kayla's head hurts and she drops her phone, picks it up to call Steve. Steve tells her they have a lead on Joey. She admits the car broke down but they will be back on the road tomorrow. She wants Joey gotten away from danger loving Jade. Steve sounds strange and ends the call ... John finds out Jade is connected to Simone. Steve assumes she is the aunt. John prints out a map but Steve suggests he go alone so as not to be noticed. John will stay in touch with his buddy at Salem PD. He gets back on his phone ... Ed visits Gabi, disappointed he just missed Ari, who is with the sitter. He asks where Gabi is going. She gushes she is going to see JJ. Ed looks intense ... Rafe and Hope reason to Roman that they need JJ to speak with his old pal Rory to get him to cooperate. The commissioner caves. JJ enters to face the former friend who was found with 5 kilos. Rory has circles under his eyes. He asks dude where his badge is. JJ explains he is off duty. Rory is bitter. JJ wants to help him - if he lets him and avoids 15 yrs. Rory sighs he was too stoned to see they were dumping stuff on him when they ran but is scared to speak. He might face those guys in the slammer anyway. JJ offers immunity in exchange for the names the cops are after ... Aiden urges Chase to fight but Chase thinks his father should just take his second chance and leave him in prison. He calls himself a psycho. Aiden suggests a shrink but Chase does not want to know more about himself. He thinks mom shot herself to death because of him too and he is rotten to the core. He cries to leave and never come back ... Steve steps into the empty commune asking Simone about his son Joe but the scorpion queen does not discuss her followers. Steve plays on her compassion and calls himself a worried parent so please tell his boy he is here ... Ed claims to have nothing against JJ buuuuuut being a cop can be dangerous also for the loved ones. Gabi is stunned he is serious. She reminds him Rafe is a cop! Besides she thinks Ed is being sexist. He feels women are vulnerable and in need of protection. She thanks papa for his concern but she will continue to date JJ the great guy and cop ... Roman yells what da hell about JJ's immunity offer and orders Rory's two buddies picked up. NO DEAL. Hope explains only the D.A. can approve immunity deals. JJ the rookie is horrified it now looks like he ratted out Rory. Rafe and Hope go to get the buddies ... Outside as Dirk sings with his guitar Joey tells Jade he feels badly about leaving his parents. Jade offers a joint. JJ lets her know he is not into it. Dirk the jerk stops singing and suggests he act like a man or else Jade will get herself one. Jealous Joe jumps him and they rumble ... Simone states Steve is too late anyway and tells him Joey and Jade went off to the beach. He should let him go. Steve is grateful and says he still wants to talk to him. He asks for a beverage and recognizes the aroma. Simone smiles to join her in the kitchen. Steve has always had a way with the ladies ... Fynn is back with the burgers and Kayla updates him. He tries to make her feel better and offers a stop by Malibu on their way home. Kayla's head hurts. Fynn has strong pain killers in his bag ... Jade breaks up the fight but both guys are bleeding. Joey storms off and Jade follows. Dirk sneers. Meanwhile Steve is serenely sipping kambouchi with Simone, telling her about his days in Nepal. The scorpion queen is impressed. He asks how she gets food for the kids and herself here in the desert. She boasts of their small garden and muses they must find ways to pitch in here. She wonders about his relationship with Joey. Steve says he is divorced and lives on the edge. Simone smiles and goes to get him a refill. Steve searches the beds and hippie mess, disappointed he has not discovered a lead ... Aiden is on a call talking about his defense options, and asks his contact to keep digging. Commissioner Roman arrives at his door. He has dire news. Chase was in a prison yard fight and got stabbed. He is critical. They take off together ... Kayla is California dreaming ... that Steve comes to her door upset he found Joe and he was too late! Their son was dead he cried. They hang onto one another in their sobs and sorrow. Kayla wakes up with a NO! ... Rafe and Hope get the two drug dealers in custody at the Edge and Rafe asks her out for dinner. OK casual, text her the time and place, she flirts ... Aiden shoves past Ed at the square. Ed gets a another text about murdering Patrick. He texts back to tell him who he is or leave him the hell alone. Ed now nervously glances around ... JJ goes into a nice room with Gabi, upset about what happened. Gabi thinks Roman should thank him cos they caught the dealers who were selling at the high school. She thinks he is sexy and they fall onto the bed kissing ... Joey declares he is leaving and goes back to the commune. Jade follows him. Steve appears and asks what happened to his face. Jade gasps to run so Joey races after her ... Aiden is a wreck at the hospital. He gets to see Chase for a second before his bleeding son is taken to surgery ... Hope gets home and leaves Ciara a message asking about her session with Marlena. Roman bangs on Hope's door with news she needs to know ... Shirtless JJ stands up and fastens his pants. He kisses his girl Gabi again. Someone knocks at the door. JJ opens it. Rory punches him to the floor, his eyes filled with fury. Gabi gasps from the bed ... Kayla cries to Fynn about her bad dream and he hugs her ... Steve shouts JOE! as the motorbike speeds away ... Hope finds upset Aiden by the bloodied hospital floor and puts her hand on his shoulder. He cries and clutches her hand cos he knows not whether his son will survive. Hope stands there with haunted eyes, her painted nails shades of light and dark ... THE END! |
