BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS: As they dine at the swanky Marton House, Shawn and Belle lecture Claire about luckily getting off with community service. They eat and Claire appraises as they act like a giggly couple. Claire could not help but notice Belle touch dad's arm and gushes they must have spent the night together. All the signs are there ... At the station Lani has rescheduled to have the night off. Rafe teases her and she tells him she has big plans ... Theo texts Ciara asking about the hearing, hoping to see her. She is at the park and lets him know she wants to be alone. Hope comes and is sorry. Ciara is especially upset her mother spoke to Aiden. She wishes her hero father Bo was alive and Aiden was the one who was dead! Hope promises to protect her. Ciara lets her know she intends to get Chase before he hurts her, should he be released. Hope tries to make her feel safe by insisting she, Roman and Rafe will not let Chase near. She broaches the subject of Ciara needing help to heal her mind - the kind of help Marlena the emotional healer happens to be best at. Ciara cries in agreement and Hope calls Marlena at home. Marlena gently agrees to speak with Ciara at three today. After the call, Ciara protests she needs to be there for Thomas. THEY would be upset. Hope senses she is referring to Chad but Ciara denies crushing on the young master of DiMera mansion ... Shawn laughs he and Belle are busted. Belle tells Claire not to have high hopes. But Claire is over the moon! She gets a text and has to run, though she gives them each a happy kiss first. Phillip spies the pair and their flirty body language. He senses he has lost again ... Belle reminds Shawn one night only does not solve their problems but he thinks they are on the same page about parenting too. It was a deep connection they shared last night, much more than the physical. She notes she was drunk. He states his case, pleased she let her guard down. She thinks he likes her frail. No just real. Phil holds his phone close to his face but he is FUMING ... Shawn notes Belle was different before and she believed self-centered Phillip was her escape. She agrees he is right about Phillip being a less than noble guy ... Claire runs into Theo at the square and he asks how it went in court. Theo thinks Ciara was blowing him off before ... Rafe is working at the station on helping Steve and John find Joey. Hope comes with update on Ciara in his room. She assumes Aiden is starting to get that Chase did do what he was accused of. Rafe is surprised she even spoke to him ... Meanwhile Aiden is on his phone at the Edge demanding something be made available to help him with his case. He is clearly full steam ahead ... At DiMera mansion Ciara has instructions for Claire, who is covering for her with Thomas. Chad apparently went to see Abigail this afternoon. Ciara admits she has a session. Claire finds it unfair that Ciara is still stressed, and innocently asks if that is why she has been avoiding Theo ... At the square Phillip flashes back to being with Belle in his bed. A stylish woman appears and apologizes for being late ... At the station Shawn presses Belle to come to a BBQ tonight. She asks about Lani. He wants a start over with Belle! She smiles she will consider and walks away. Shawn smiles and sits down ... Phil is interviewing a sexy marketer for the music biz. He suavely suggests they discuss her career over lunch or dinner. She likes his ideas but is only interested in a job. Phillip states he is sorry if she misunderstood and she departs. Belle comes by and spies his bloody Mary. He sighs he has work to do and snaps say what you wanted to say ... Claire wonders why Ciara does not wish to see Theo. She admits she does not want to hurt him ... Rafe rages Aiden could be playing Hope! Hope is at a loss and admits she did not like playing on Aiden's feelings for her to keep Chase locked up. However it was all she could do. Rafe questions whether Aiden is different than before and reminds her he attracted Stefano as well as Clyde cos there was something sinister about him ... Aiden is pleased to get confirmation that what he was after is ready and goes on his way ... Phillip is sorry he was rude and is glad to hear that Claire got off. He lies he is also glad Belle is moving on with Shawn. He senses she took his earlier advice. He coolly claims he wants her happy. She knows and softly says thanks. She walks away and Phil looks depressed ... Ciara is now at the townhouse with Marlena, confiding how mad she feels to stop the crying inside, ever so worried that Chase will get out of prison and permeate her daily life. Marlena thinks he will not get out, but does she fear he would hurt her? No but she knows she will hurt him! Ciara admits she liked Chase's dark side, hence her staying away from Theo the good ... Hope agrees with Rafe. He hates her having to deal with Aiden. She does too and notes she has no choice. Her lunch delivery now arrives. Two cheese burgers with fries. Rafe grins and they chow down together, leaning over the table for a kiss ... Theo heads to DiMera mansion but Ciara is not there, only Claire. He complains he suspects Ciara is avoiding him but they were close before. Claire suggests Ciara just wants to be friend with him now ... Ciara's session continues. She is too tormented to be involved now and tells Marlena she can only imagine being with an unpredictable guy. Marlena assumes she means Bo the hero. Ciara admits she also fears she could lose her guy like her dad. Belle arrives, unaware there is a session taking place. But both Marlena and Ciara are finished for today. Ciara politely leaves and Marlena smiles with encouragement. Belle is sorry she interrupted, and is relieved the teens got off with community service. Marlena had heard. Belle now mentions Shawn. Both Belle and Shawn are concerned about Claire. Marlena notes the teen's life was torn apart. Belle thinks she means because she divorced Shawn. Indeed ... Hope wants Rafe to know how much she cares as she leans in to kiss him ... Enter cocky attorney Aiden, hoping he is not interrupting anything ... Phillip is drowning his lonely sorrows at the Edge. The cute girl bartender working at the counter catches his eye ... Belle wants Marlena to know something about her divorce but before she can continue Marlena has to take a call. She asks Belle to hold that thought and steps into the other room. Belle looks around at the family photos. She now phones Shawn and agrees to dinner. He will pick her up around 7. Lani is lurking nearby at the station and gathers he has plans. He admits he does, with Belle ... Ciara comes back to DiMera mansion, where Theo is waiting with Claire. Claire goes to check on the baby. Ciara is sorry for being beechy toward Theo but she is not ready for romance with him and hopes he understands. Theo does not believe her. He cries when she sadly states he is not what she is looking for. She cries too. Claire comes back and Theo takes off in tears. Claire supports her friend for being honest but believes she just broke his heart ... Hope quietly asks what Aiden wants. To talk over lunch about what she and Ciara have been going through. Rafe snaps they already ate. Aiden apologies and excuses himself. Rafe is enraged. He points out to Hope that Aiden was just letting her know he is not giving up on getting her back! Hope does not deny it, and her eyes are haunted. She senses something sinister is just around the corner ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Chase is assaulted and hospitalized. |
