Mel is feeling nostalgic at home when Brady calls from the hospital, anxious to see her. She feels she should not be there. No matter. Then Brady will bring his bountiful love to her. He has the ring ready ... Outside the club Sonny wants Paul to stop. Paul points out he has been sincere with Sonny and deserves the same. Will interrupts the almost moment. Needless to say, the son of Sami is not amused ... Still with his son, Stefano slyly suggests he is not out of love with the fair Abigail. Chad is a tad amused, noting he has not answered his question about his motives. Father insists he wants his son happy no more no less. Chad senses something but lets the matter slide ... Abigail makes her mother tell her the tale of how when and why she hid JJ's secret. She has issues with the fact that she lied to protect JJ with no consideration for Paige. Abigail's image of Jen the good has been somewhat tarnished by the time she steps out for some fresh air ... Eve is numb and nervous when Theresa calls her to the hospital to see the feeding of baby Tate. Eve gasps she cannot go and tells Theresa to be mature, do the right thing for her son and hold onto him ... At the park Paige rages and screams at JJ to speak the truth. He agrees and woefully calls it complicated. She scoffs. The fallen Romeo remembers it started when he felt he had lost her forever ...Will is angry about finding Paul with Sonny again. Sonny states he simply was explaining. Will calls anything Paul may have said lies all lies. Sonny wishes he would stop the outburst ... Madame Milbauer victoriously visits the mother of the year. What a lucky baby, who happens to be a billionaire Kiriakis heir. Theresa cackles along with her. Brady arrives and Annie exits. Theresa assumes he is here to attend the feeding. Brady shows her a picture he snapped of their son and states he has somewhere to be but not work. Theresa appears irate ... JJ paints a picture of the high pressure day when he was drunk and went to the apartment to find Paige. Eve was home alone and had just heard she would never sing again. JJ was inconsolable over losing Paige. She snaps they had s-e-x more than once though and how many times was it? The raging girl refers to Eve as her own mommy dearest ... Maxine finds Mel home alone. She is here to call her a hero for saving the day and Brady's baby but why the tears? Mel cries she cannot get over her past misdeeds and wonders whether it would have been different with her parents raising her together, Maxine gives her a pep talk about her present deeds making up for the past and gets going. Brady arrives and kisses Mel passionately, murmuring how much he missed her ... Eve is desperate to find her daughter before JJ lies his way out of what she overheard him say. She knows exactly where to go ... JJ now explains how he believed he had lost Paige for good again when Eve informed him she was gone to California and would not be returning. He hated her for threatening to expose him. Paige stops him and slams him for claiming to hate Eve yet he slept with her again and again and again ... Will accuses Paul of wanting to get Sonny back. Paul does not deny he wants Sonny more than ever. An employee emerges and requests Sonny's help with their computer system glitch. Sonny suggests Paul not stay but Will insists he must for they are not finished! Petulant Paul agrees. Sonny sighs to keep the noise level down and disappears into the club. Paul now lets Will know he was not talking about him. However, he had asked Sonny whether he still loved HIM. Will sticks his chin out like a mini-Sami ... As Paige screams, JJ agrees he screwed up but he loves her. She sighs she believes him but ...Theresa and Anne are discussing Brady's whereabouts when mama Kim makes her grand entrance. Theresa is less than thrilled to see her. Kim assures her she and papa Shane are on her side. Theresa notes he is not here, though. Kim gushes he is getting her legal problems taken care of so she can come home to California. Shane and Kim want to take care of Tate and Theresa. Theresa is stunned... Will asks why Paul is doing this. Paul replies Will mentioning John and Marlena's past made him realize hiding one's feelings is not the way to go. He now warns the son of Sami that if he provokes him again, he is going to tell Sonny how he blackmailed him to leave town before. Will stops him from storming off ... Chad follows forlorn Abigail all the way to the park. He perceives the upset on her fair face and offers to be her rock ... Eve heads to Horton house. Jen hisses to get out cos she knows how she had someone plant drugs on her son. Eve implores her to tell her where her daughter is ...Back at the park, Paige has no doubt JJ loves her but she has no interest in his brand of love. He lied and hid the truth from her, which is not real love ... Eve wants to know what happened at Horton house. Jen tells Eve she ruined everything ... Will admits Paul has been right about his lying. However, he was worried he would lose Sonny and his love to the flashy famous former sports star. Paul points out Sonny is not so shallow and if Will thinks he is, then he really doesn't know him. With that, he goes on his way ... Abigail is tormented by the fact that she realized she holds people to a higher standard than herself, yet she is no saint. She makes mistakes. Chad muses her only mistake was EJ and it was understandable. Abigail gasps her being hard on her mother made her see she sometimes makes unfair snap judgments like with HIM. Their eyes lock ... Jen snaps Eve has lost. She knows not where Paige is, though. Eve thinks it is unfair that her old rival did not lose her child in the mess like her. She angrily assumes JJ put all the blame on her and leaves. Outside the door, she vows this is far from over. Jenny will pay ... Paige cries she was such a romantic fool. He mumbles he was the one who was wrong and wants to make things right. Livid Paige lists her new rules. No communication of any kind and stay the hell away from her from now on. JJ laments he cannot live without her. She hisses he can go back to Bev or Roxanne, write his sad story in a song to attract girls, or find some beech like Eve! In the end, he will be alone anyway. JJ refuses to let his dream girl go ... Brady gallantly gets on his knee after gushing how much he loves Mel. She is much moved and knows what comes next ... When Sonny returns, Will is smooth and sorry, admitting he was wrong about Paul. Sonny is relieved. Will promises to be home after he does some work on his next story. Until tonight! Sonny smiles after his kiss, then slowly shakes his head ... Stefano has his mysterious Abigail envelope and mutters his son still has time to win her ... Paige is finished with JJ despite his best attempts. She hisses he should have done the right thing and stayed away from her after his affair with her mother! Then she walks away ... Brady has stars in his eyes when he asks Melanie Jonas to marry him and happily holds out the ring. Mel is overwhelmed by the magical moment ... THE END!
