Paige stares down Eve and demands to know whom she heard her speaking to while she was sleeping. Eve covers, claiming the noise was the network news. Paige thinks not. Eve explains a deliveryman had the wrong door. Paige thinks not. She heard JJ ... Lucas is feeling fine in his hotel room as he flashes back to Adrienne. He sends her a text about missing her. She gets it at the Kiriakis mansion, then overhears Justin having his own secret communication on the phone. "Me too!" Adrienne demands to know how Elsa is after he ends the call which he wants her to believe was business ... Nicole lies to suspicious Zan that she left some stuff chez Dan. He questions whether they are over. She insists they are ... The party cups and balloons are in abundance at Horton house for Paige's surprise party. Jen believes Eve will be in attendance. JJ does not but does not elaborate ... At the nurse's station cute Kayla and Dan discuss the surprise party to which they were invited. He intends to stop off at home first ... Abigail and Maggie go to the kitchen to complete the decorating of the birthday cake. Jen questions JJ about his new phone. He will only say his Eve problems are over at long last ... Back at the apartment, Paige rages she heard every word... Zan informs nosy Nicole that he came by to see Dan and suddenly decides to tell him the truth about them dating. The color drains from Eve's face. Then she tries to regain control of the situation and wants to explain ... Lucas is on a business call about his victory against Mad World, snagging their top retailer. He gets off the phone when Adrienne arrives. She is here to tell him she missed him too and they kiss like lovers ... Dan arrives at his apartment, only to be informed by the super that Nicole stopped by for something. Dan scoffs with suspicion ... Zan enters Nicole's office to apologize ... Kayla joins the party people at Horton house. JJ makes the rounds. He assures Rory he dealt with a certain beech, then gushes to Kayla how grateful he is for her helping Paige ... Eve insists what Paige thinks she heard was a nightmare. The deceived daughter declares the nightmare is REAL ... She demands her mother speak the truth if she loves her at all. Eve's voice cracks as she admits she did do as accused, she did sleep with JJ but she loves her daughter heart and soul. Eve insists they hated what happened. Paige rages but it was more than once. They made a mockery of her cos all along Eve was his secret lover ... Tattoo Lucas and Adrienne bask in the afterglow in his bed. He asks where they are headed. Adrienne is all smiles. He loves her sexy smile ... Nicole feigns frustration over Zander not believing she is done with Dan. He invites her out for dinner. She accepts, teasing her tastes are expensive. He grins and gets going. The date is for eight. No more deception ... At Horton house JJ has a word with Dan. He plans to pursue his happily ever after with Paige. Dan has a dire warning about his scandalous secret coming back to haunt him. JJ refuses to confess. The son of Jack feels he has the situation under control ... Paige rages at Eve for ruining her relationship with the boy who was her first love. She bitch slaps her hard .. Adrienne tenderly touches Lucas' face and agrees it might be best to go public. Lucas laughs and they kiss in bliss However, her ring remains on her finger ... At the square solemn Justin is on a long distance call. He hopes to catch the last flight back to Dubai ... Murderous Zan meets his exotic female flunky at the park. He hands her a photo of Dan and a photo of Nicole. He orders her to tail Nicole and tell him if she has any contact with Dan. Dan must be spared though Nicole might need to disappear if she gets too close ... Eve gasps she is sorry. Paige dramatically denounces her and departs. Alone again, Eve weeps, clutching the gift bag and the framed photo of her newborn girl from long ago ... Paige heads to Horton house to confront JJ. She nervously knocks and JJ and a group of well wishers appear at the now open door. SURPRISE! Paige blinks. But the birthday party does not deter her.
