Paul innocently greets Will,who has arrived home. Will stares at the sight of his daughter in his rival's arms and controls his rage with a smile for Arianna's sake. He smiles to get away from his child and calmly takes her away. Paul thinks he should go but Will makes him stay and puts Arianna in her room. Then the son of Sami steps back to do battle ... Zan knows someone has been looking at his phone photo gallery in his hotel room. Serena is in a state. He remembers Nicole and tries to make light of it, until Serena complains about Nicole and her questions ... At the club, Nicole considers her options out loud in her usual manner. She regrets Dan's distance and tells herself as soon as she can expose Zander and Serena's secret, she will explain to Dan that she was investigating Zan. She sighs Dan will understand. There stands mama Maggie with a shopping bag. She suspiciously wonders what Dan is supposed to understand this time ... Jenny is in decorating mode at Horton house as she prepares for Paige's surprise birthday party. She overdoes the flowers in an attempt to hide how she is feeling in front of herself. There is nothing pretty about the mess Eve made ... JJ films Eve at the park and laughs it was him all along but she implicated herself in her messages to Cole and he has them all. Eve tries to grab the phone away ... Paul pleasantly explains the sitter could not stay and he happened to be here to drop off Sonny's shirt. He borrowed it yesterday as he got chocolate milk spilled on his. Will grimaces about him going to the apartment two days in a row. He accuses him of attempting to steal Sonny ... JJ threatens to show Roman everything. Eve wants him to wait ... Paul notes he is now in town to get to know his father. Will leers he is like him and rants about the time Roman's wife Marlena was seduced by John. He suggests Paul is the same as his parents and raises his voice. Paul raises his voice right back. His parents in plural??? Will accuses his mom of ho-ing around. Paul snaps and punches him in the face. Will is knocked to the ground! Sonny has just opened the door and gasps WILL! He runs to him and yells at Paul to get out. Paul tries to explain. Sonny helps Will sit up and thunders to get out. Paul departs nursing his swollen red knuckles and his wounded pride ... Nicole smiles she and Dan had a spat and she is giving him space. She suddenly asks Maggie to let her into the apartment as she forgot something. The redhead refuses and goes on her way to Horton house ... Nicole mutters Mel is not picking up and decides to call Eric, playing on his chivalry as she acts like she needs his help. The former father and friend agrees to join her for a drink at the club ... Eve and JJ takes their conversation to her apartment. They lay all their cards on the table, assuming they are alone. Perhaps they are assuming too much ... JJ insists Eve leave him be with Paige - or else he passes on the proof he has that she had Cole plant drugs and she goes to prison, where she will never see Paige. Eve counters he has nothing really. JJ claims Cole would turn on her to save himself. Eve realizes he is right. Cole going rogue has cost her dearly. However, if JJ exposes her she will expose him right back and tell Paige about their affair ... Nicole smiles sweetly at Eric across their club table and broaches the subject of Serena. She regrets they argued and wants to make things right. She wonders whether there was one elephant statue or two,one of the silly things they argued over. Eric grins there were two they got in Africa. They have little monetary value, and are merely sentimental. Serena lost hers and then he gave his to Dan. Nicole fibs she wanted to find Serena a replacement for the one she lost. Eric thinks that is impossible as the folk figurine was found in a remote village in the Congo ... At Horton house, Jen updates Maggie on JJ and Paige planning to move to California. She nervously notes that way at least Eve will not be able to undermine her son and gets a worried look in her eye ... Eve accuses JJ of seducing her when she had hit a low point. Then Paige came home. He remembers, though his version is that the volatile mother made moves on him. He says it sickened him after. She quips but he came back for more again and again ... Sonny holds woozy Will and tends to him ... Paul pouts at the square with his swollen knuckles ... Will assures Sonny he needs no hospital. Sonny holds up three fingers. Will counts them all. Will laments he is ashamed about being flattened and would not want word to get out. Sonny states anyone would be flattened for Paul was a pro athlete. He wonders what led to the fight. Will admits it was Sonny. He wonders what would have happened had he come home later. Sonny assures him nothing. He asks for details. Will wickedly obliges. He leaves his insults out of his story and paints a picture of Paul as a hot head who refused to withdraw. Sonny goes to check on Arianna. Just then his phone rings with a call from Paul. Will picks up, says Sonny is busy, and leave them alone! Paul apologizes ... Sonny returns and Will makes no mention of the call from Paul ... Nicole pretends she will get Serena a different peace offering present. Besumed Eric thanks her for the drink and departs ... Nicole is desperate to sneak a peek at the elephant and calls Dan's building superintendent Lou. She convinces him she needs to get into the apartment to pick up something she left chez Dan and the medicine man is in surgery so he cannot be interrupted. She acts jovial about the matter so as not to sound suspicious ... Zander and Serena speak about Nicole getting closer. Serena admits she accidentally let it slip to Dan that Nicole was in his room. Zander loses his patience. He will deal with Nicole. He will also have those diamond numbers today after which Serene must get out of Salem for good. Serena knows a threat when she hears one and summons Eric to meet at the park. This is her last chance ... JJ and Eve have repeated the tale of their tawdry affair, including the fact that he used Roxanne as his cover. JJ reasons incriminated Eve would not be believed by Paige. He would deny they had ever slept together and Paige would believe him so it ends right here right now! From now on, she must leave him alone to be with Paige. Eve knows when she is cornered but consoles herself by warning JJ he will lose her daughter, who is too good for him. She taunts she will be far away at Stanford. He taunts right back he is going with her and leaves. Eve drowns her sorrows with a big glass of wine ... Sonny and Will get comfy on the couch. Sonny has ice for his face. Will explains he warned Paul he was onto him and that seemed to set him off. He makes no mention of the fact that he provoked him by hurling insults at his parents ... Serena meets Eric at the park, stammering about finishing her project, wanting to plan the future. He warmly lets her know he wants to be with her and they embrace. But when she tries to talk him into heading to Hawaii now, the once priest pauses. She reasons the deadline has arrived and she intends to accept ... Will wants to keep volatile violent Paul away from his daughter. Sonny sympathetically agrees. Will softly states he missed Sonny and kisses him. One thing leads to another, knock on the head be damned ... Nicole is outside Dan's door when the elevator opens. She gushes she is glad to see ... Her face falls when Zander emerges and he is not in the least bit amused, his eyes reflecting his rage ... JJ heads home to Horton house, feeling the taste of victory. He admires the pretty setting and says Paige sure will be surprised ... Eve senses something so she turns around. There stands Paige, who has opened the door of the room she was in during Eve and JJ's dramatic drawn out fight. She gives her a mother a dirty dirty look ... ! THE END!
