Serena suggests Dan ask Nicole about Zan.She saw them at his hotel room just moments ago. A frown creases his brow ... Nicole wonders why the Eric elephant is on Zander's phone ... Cole greets Paige at college. She confronts him cos she figured it out! ... Eve gets home and finds a note to text a certain number. She assumes it is Cole but it is really JJ, who has the new phone for that purpose - to play her with his game of deception ... JJ accidentally drops the phone details when Jen arrives home to Horton house, pumped about the surprise party they are planning for Paige ... Sonny speaks with father Justin at the club. Justin assures him he will figure things out with his mother and asks about his situation with Will. He wonders whether Will approves of Paul being back in town and winces with worry when Sonny admits Will knows not for now he is out of town ... At the square John enjoys his time with Paul, who is sorry about the other night. No apology needed. Paul feels badly about leading Theresa on before. John sighs he owes the trouble making Theresa nothing. Paul drops his bag and Sonny's cleaned shirt falls out. Paul stammers he is not seeing Sonny ... Paige accuses Cole of trying to have JJ arrested ... Eve crumples the note screaming she told Cole not to contact her. Bait taken ... JJ now tells his unsuspecting mom he has a last paper to turn in. She wants to help. There is something she can do for him ... Serena corrects herself. Nicole is working, doing background on Brady. Dan has his doubts. She babbles the story is about Greece and Brady is the side story. Dan laughs and his doubt grows ... Nicole puts back the telephone as Zander returns,concerned about her ankle. He notices she is rattled. She really is though she admits to nothing a la nicole ... Serena begs Dan to promise not to repeat what she is about to share ... Nicole airily admits she tried to walk and it was tough. Zan the man and his hands get to work and he seductively rubs her ankle. Nicole is not unaffected ... Sonny explains Will had to do interviews for his next story. Justin is judgmental about Sonny coming after another article. He senses his son's malaise and teases he has seen Paul, no? ... Paul points out he wanted a word with Sonny and Will to ease the tension. Will was not present but he saw Sonny and respects where he stands. John says good. Paul intends to drop off the shirt. John wants him to open up. Paul laments he and Sonny still have a connection and that frustrates him. He now asks when he can meet the new nephew and apologize to Brady, even Theresa. John will pass it on and must now head to the station. Father and son are in a good place in their new found relationship ... Paige accuses Cole of planting drugs. He denies it. She scoffs he hates JJ. But he does not deny that much ... JJ would appreciate it if Jen could reach out and invite Eve to the birthday party he wants to surprise Paige with in person, to include her. He asks her to do so prior to any party decorating. Ponytail Jen flounces out. Now alone, JJ gets back to his mischief ... Sonny suggests Justin stop smiling and stop hoping for the end of his marriage. Justin claims concern. Sonny refuses to listen to anything against his hubby and must leave to meet a distributor. Justin talks traffic due to construction. Sonny wishes he would stop pushing him about Will and walks out ... Paul comes to the apartment and the sitter laments she must take Arianna to the hospital. Paul gets worried ... Serena looks scared when she speaks the name of Zander. Dan senses her terror. Serena does not wish to make Zan mad. Dan shuts the door and wants to know all. He assures her it will not leave this room. Serena whispers Zander is different from his pleasant public persona ... Back in his hotel room, Zan muses there is no swelling on the ankle so Nicole feigns pain. He keeps massaging and flirts. She meets his gaze and wonders ... Cole thinks Paige is talking crazy. She threatens to tell the cops ... Eve is interrupted from reading a card when undercover JJ texts her as Cole. He hopes she will believe he is having problems ... Eve ignores him ... Paige gets a call from her mother, who asks why she sounds stressed. She snaps she is speaking with someone. She hears Eve's doorbell and says they can talk later. Click. Eve opens her door to Jen, who sweetly suggests she answer that buzzing phone. Eve gasps and looks from Jen to the phone, which could be Cole hounding her again ... The sitter complains she has to show her sister's insurance card at the hospital cos sis broke her arm. She was unable to reach Sonny. Paul promises to notify Sonny and stay with Arianna, so she can go ... Serena implies Zander is a cad with women, who turns on them too. Dan deduces she speaks from experience. She warns Nicole will experience what she did ... Nicole ends up standing in Zander's arms. She feels the heat ... Paige accuses Cole of breaking in while they were at the movies. Cole sarcastically states so she thinks he hid upstairs until he could sneak out. Paige snaps he said too much already... JJ expects Eve is a wreck now with Jen present as he texts pretending to be Cole ... Jen tells Eve to take the call. Eve has a look at her phone. The texter warns not to dismiss him. They know what they did. He announces he is coming over now. Eve panics and texts back to COLE she will do what he wants. JJ is elated. He has the enemy exactly where he wants her ... Paul gets through to Sonny on his cell. He is stuck in traffic,on his way. The sitter is grateful and gives new sitter Paul little Arianna. He grins it is just the two of them now. The little princess pouts ... Dan drawls Nicole knows how to handle many kinds of men. Serena thinks that is good with a man like Zan. Dan has a patient but politely thanks her. Once alone, he glowers ... Serena steps out and calls Zan, who is about to kiss flustered Nicole. She tells him to take his call. He does and growls it is not a good time. Serena insists she must see him now. He apologizes to Nicole but business calls. He hopes to see her soon. Secretly, of course. She agrees and slinks out .... Eve text argues with fake Cole and Jen asks what is the matter. Fake Cole texts that Paige is onto them ... Eve acts busy but agrees to go to Paige's party. So ends Jen's visit ... Fake Cole now demands money. $1000 to be exact so he can leave town or else he tells all to Paige ... Paige demands to know why Cole did it. He is ready to talk ... Nicole is back at her desk, guessing what the elephant photo on the phone of Zan means. She needs another look at the elephant Dan has in his possession ... Cole sighs Paige is an amazing girl with an awful guy. She deserves ... She demands he shut up. They are through as friends and he had better stay away from both her and JJ. She storms off ... JJ, still pretending to be Cole, makes Eve meet him at the south side of the park with the money. She would rather not be seen together. They arrange for her to drop it in an envelope on a certain park bench. He promises he will be gone for good after... JJ gets his bag and goes .... Eve gets her bag and goes. She reminds herself not to trust creepy Cole ... Zan opens his door to Serena. WOT is so bloody urgent! He gets distracted by a business call ... Nicole shows up at Dan's doorstep. He leers she must have just left Zander's hotel room. The medicine man is mad with jealousy and questions her interview claim. She admits there is something more. Dan knows it and says SEE YA, slamming the door in her face .. After his biz call, Zan asks Serena where the fire is, then realizes someone must have looked at a photo of their elephant on his phone recently. Serena freezes ... John and Justin discuss Paul as they walk through the square. John is thrilled his son wants to know him. He adds he is staying far from the Will and Sonny minefield. Justin seems to want him to jump right in ... Paul seems to have won over new playmate Arianna. He hears someone at the door and stands up with her in his arms, ready to greet daddy Sonny. The door opens. Will enters and stares at the sight ... Jen has a visitor at Horton house. Paige is seeking JJ. Jen suggests calling for he will be back in an hour or two. She knows the young lovers have a lunch date. Paige will try calling. She leaves. Jen is relieved she has no idea they are planning a surprise birthday party in her honor ... Eve is in a black dress with black sunglasses at the park with the envelope. She glances around, dropping it on the bench. Ring ring! Real Cole calling. She calls him an ape, having done as he wanted. Cole is confused. All of a sudden, JJ jumps before her with his phone camera in her face ... GOTCHA! Eve removes her sunglasses and hyperventilates in horror ... THE END! |
