At the station Hope has questions for Kate, whose story has holes! Kate already explained her story of a struggle to Rafe. Hope notes it is not entirely true ... Leo gets Sonny’s phone from his desk. Sonny arrives and asks what he is doing ... At the infirmary Abigail wants to apologize to Gabi, who snaps she should be sorry. She blames her for almost getting herself killed ... At DiMera mansion Chad informs Stefan that Abigail would rather avoid him and he is here for some things. Stefan questions her really wanting to stay away. Chad growls if he goes near his wife again he will kill him. He starts upstairs. Stefan announces he is not welcome here. He already tossed Kate out as well. Chad asks why he is even in Salem since he has no one here. Stefan leers all he lives for now is REVENGE ... Gabi accuses Abigail of killing Andre and setting her up. Abigail attempts to explain it was not that simple ... Leo lies he was tidying Sonny's desk and adds he had his shirt dry cleaned as well. He suggests they work through dinner and offers to arrange it. Sonny would rather get pick up from the pub, sorts his papers, and realizes his cell phone has vanished ... Hope and Rafe now have the report which indicates KATE was holding the gun when it went off. Hope reasons she must have remembered wrong, her voice oozing sarcasm ... Stefan leers to Chad he is not leaving the town or the company. The company belongs to him! He repeats how he vowed to avenge Vivian’s death. Chad calls Kate family. Stefan sneers she is his enemy so that is one strike against him. Strike two is that he stole Gabby! Chad thunders there is no real Gabby! Stefan insists Gabby is still inside Abigail and smugly states they slept together. Chad punches him in the face and he lets out a groan ... Abigail updates her friend on the alters but Gabi fumes she put the final nail in for her when she lied on the stand ... Sonny is desperately seeking his phone. Leo suggests he got get dinner and let him look. He also offers to handle his west coast call if the phone rings. Sonny smiles thank you when Leo repeats he is here for him and straightens his tie. Exit Sonny. Leo closes the door and stops the recording by the plant. He deletes himself stealing Sonny’s phone and returns to the scene where he took his shirt off. Then he sits at Sonny's computer ... As per the forensics report Viv was not even shot at as close range as Kate claimed. Hope wants to know the real reason for their fight. Kate protests. Hope warns it will look like she is covering if she does not share every detail. So be it. Kate states she will spill every sordid detail ... Jeff the bartender greets Sonny at the pub. His order will be ready soon so he suggests they have a drink. Sonny asks for a beer. Jeff asks for an update on the cute guy on the dating app. Sonny sadly lists his good qualities and admits he had to end things as he now works for him ... Back at the office Leo uses Sonny’s cell to send scandalous messages to him about working shirtless, and how badly he wanted to kiss him. He deletes them from Sonny’s cell once he has them on his own phone. After all, he has to make the new boss happy ... Rafe assumes Kate was angry. She was and was going to expose Vivian and Stefan to the Salem PD and the board. She now blasts the cops for not caring. She hates being haunted by Viv’s memory. Hope eyes her wondering what she is hiding. Kate reminds them she is free to go and does just that ... Abigail suddenly remembers what Laura said on the stand and apologizes to Gabi. Gabi rages she planted evidence as well, which they found in her daughter’s overnight bag! Abigail now remembers Stefan telling Gabby he had planted the proof. She informs Gabi that Stefan planted it but why? Gabi points out he wanted to protect Gabby. She blurts out that alter even slept with him! Stefan taunts Chad for walking in when he was with his wife and her body which she used so well! Chad grimaces. Stefan points out Gabby is passionate. Who knew that side of Abigail! Chad angrily grabs a letter opener and holds it to Stefan’s throat ... Hope and Rafe wonder what Kate is hiding. Hope will keep an eye on her. Rafe wishes the annulment papers were not in the picture and agrees to sign so Hope will be free. He sits. She turns away. He says he is sorry. She watches and gasps to wait ... Kate gets a phone update from Lothario Leo about Sonny. She tells him to sleep with him next. Leo lets her know it might take long so Kate gets an idea ... Jeff the Brady pub bartender listens to Sonny’s story about his two exes getting closer. Jeff suggests he have some fun even though Leo works for him. He could keep it a secret. Sonny fears a possible lawsuit. Jeff tells him to make his own rules. Sonny considers, having loosened up from the beer ... Abigail is horrified to hear that Chad caught her in the sack with Stefan. She now remembers his face and gasps how Stefan could do it to her! Gabi hisses how could she do it to Chad ... Stefan dares Chad to kill him. Chad lets out a war cry. Stefan would rather die anyway as he lost all he has loved and leers he was with his wife. Chad yells again and pulls away. Stefan calls him a coward. Chad would rather see him suffer from his loneliness. Gabby is as dead as his mother and he has been left with nothing. Stefan goes silent as Chad turns away ... Abigail is aghast she cheated on Chad with that monster Stefan! Gabi assumed she was already aware of it. She exclaims Chad did not tell her! Perhaps he wanted to protect her. Gabi quips or perhaps he could not handle his beloved wife sleeping with his own brother ... Hope admits to Rafe that she is confused. He stands up and assumes she is having second thoughts. She points out Abe praised their teamwork and John and Marlena are wedding planning. It made her remember their romantic wedding at the cabin. Rafe thinks of it a lot as well. She gasps she wanted to get away because of what happened with Sami but she still loves him. Rafe smiles it seems she is giving them another chance ... Rafe is over the moon. Hope stammers she is still uncertain. But she knows she loves him. Rafe gushes then there is a chance. She agrees. He emotionally states he never stopped loving her and is sorry for the screwup. She has him as long as she wants him. Hope smiles a beautiful smile ... At DiMera mansion Chad adds insult to injury by quitting. He is done with the house and the company for all he needs he has, meaning the fair Abigail. Furthermore, he will make it his life’s work to destroy Stefan! He leaves as Stefan tends to the graze on his neck ... Abigail vows to fix things for Gabi. In the morning she will plead guilty to killing Andre and make sure Gabi can go home to Ari. She feels beyond forgiveness and exits ... Sonny gets back to the office with the food. Leo hands him his phone and their hands touch. Sonny babbles about business. Leo claims he knows he wants him and he wants him too. Sonny sighs there are rules ... Leo offers to resign starting now and notes now they can act on their feelings. Right here right now! Sonny protests and then grabs him in a passionate kiss. Their love in the afternoon is recorded ... Hope tosses the annulment papers in the trash and tells Rafe not to sign. She is not ready to say goodbye ... Gabi grumbles what Abigail did was unforgivable. Chad appears and asks what she means ... Back at DiMera mansion downtrodden Stefan remembers losing Gabby. All of a sudden Abigail walks in and their eyes lock ... STAY TUNED! |
