Tripp teases her and they kiss. Claire comes out with her suitcases and a long ewwww ... Marlena marvels she and John must have the longest engagement in history. He calls her baby and she wonders why wed now. He sighs so much has happened starting with Orpheus and he wants to be official before the next disaster. "What do ya say doc, will ya marry me one last time?" Marlena lets out a girlish giggle ... Mayor Abe praises Hope at the station and states she and Rafe were quite the team. Meanwhile Rafe gives Gabi the good news that Abigail confessed so she will get out soon ... Justin meets anxious Abigail and Chad, who wants to do what he can to keep his wife out of prison. Thomas sits silently on her lap Meanwhile back at DiMera mansion Kate remembers killing Viv and snaps at Stefano’s portrait to stop staring. No one cared about Viv anyway. Furious Stefan appears and promises to make her pay! He suggests he could suffocate her one night. She counters she locked her door and has Harold to forewarn her. Stefan seethes he was out making funeral arrangements. She declares it was self-defense but Stefan disagrees ... Rafe updates Gabi on Abigail being cornered by Andre and feeling the need to defend herself. Then came the alters. According to Marlena, her brain could not cope with killing Andre. Gabi sighs the worst alter was based on her ... Justin advises Chad it does not look good that Abigail kept the truth from the police. The mental illness argument is their best bet. He goes on to suggest she was still unstable as when she had the other breakdown. Chad questions that. Justin must now meet with his client Gabi to get her to sign her papers. He will have a list of recommended lawyers for them soon and urges them to call him if he can otherwise help. Chad appreciates his advice. Abigail, however, has no intention of accepting it ... Ciara tells Claire she is in the clear. Claire laughs she is not leaving for good, she is just going to visit Theo a couple of weeks. Tripp takes some of her luggage down. Ciara asks her to stay in touch. Claire coldly agrees. Ciara hopes to restart their friendship when she comes back. Claire is more in a hurry to repair her relationship with Theo as he hated when she asked him to cheat. Besides without her being the new face of Bella, she believes there is nothing to make her want to stay here ... Glam Val joins Abe and Hope and Hope accepts their lunch invitation ... Marlena teases John she might miss her single life! He drawls he wants to make it real in front of the whole world but if she would rather not. She gushes she would love to marry him every day of her life. He waits for a yes. She gasp yes again and again and again ... Their lips meet and they make music together ... Hope, Abe and Val interrupt the loooong kiss at the square. John tells doc to share their big news. The long wait for their wedding is over! Abe wants a date. John suggests summer and Marlena wants to go BIG! John says small at the same time and more laughter ensues ... At the infirmary Justin explains to Gabi after Abigail is charged tomorrow he will file the motion to overturn her conviction. She could be free soon, Gabi cannot wait. Neither can Rafe. She hastily signs ... Abigail informs Chad she was sane when she killed Andre, she only split after. Chad is fine with a self-defense plea though she has other ideas. To plead guilty so as to avoid a trial ... Back in the DiMera living room Kate reminds Stefan that psycho Viv was the one with the loaded weapon. Stefan awaits the CSI report and the investigation of the Salem PD. She points out he himself held her and Marlena against their will! He boasts he got immunity. She taunts him about the alter he loved and lost, which could lead to a scandal. He would be wise to resign from DiMera. He sniffles and fires her on the spot instead. Kate warns him it would be a mistake. He scoffs she killed his mother so by the end of today she is out of here! Kate counters that Chad owns the house. He reminds her he owns the mortgage and suggests she start packing. Kate hisses she knows about the sabotage. He cares not as she has no proof so get out by the end of the day. In addition if he discovers she set out to kill Viv, then he shall do the same to her! Chad attempts to talk Abigail out of a guilty plea. Alas she still harbors guilt about sending Gabi to prison. What if something had happened to her! Chad goes silent and she wonders what did happen ... Rafe thanks Justin for helping his sister. Justin also wants him to know that Belle sent him an irate letter about ignoring his annulment papers for 30 days. Rafe is not interested. Justin reasons she can file without his consent now. Rafe sighs it seems there is nothing he can do to stop that annulment. Justin suggests he end the marriage by signing and then fight to get back the woman he loves ... Claire is in a hurry to pick up a care package for Theo from Abe. Ciara goes in her room to get the headphones she also got for Theo. Tripp feels awful about giving her a hard time and admits he has not been a saint. But Claire was always a good friend. He wants to be a friend to her too. She counters it could complicate things with Ciara. Tripp assures her all is well. She thanks him for the Bella vote. It meant much. He smiles she still has star quality and she hugs him in thanks. Ciara returns and observes the sweet scene with worry ... Marlena would like all friends and family at the wedding. Abe loves a party and adds they should have a killer Horton reception! Val smiles happy wife happy life. John feels like he is losing but Marlena gushes he is winning. He emotionally vows to do what it takes to make her happy. She asks if he is sure. Never more and so a big wedding they shall have! Hope flashes back to her private vows with Rafe and flashes a smile ... Abigail has now heard about Gabi’s prison attack and wants to go to her. Chad reasons she did not sleep all night. As per Marlena, she should not overdo it. He also would rather not stay at the mansion after what Stefan did to her. Abigail soap stares, eyes wide, and wonders what he means. Just what did Stefan do to her?! Back at the loft Ciara and Tripp are playing a video game. He is impressed she offered to cover up for Claire. Ciara calls her family and hopes they will renew their friendship. Tripp grins he is happy to have Ciara alone especially with her supermodel schedule. He has big plans for them tonight ... At the square Claire asks Abe for the care package in his car. John smiles she is seeing Theo. Marlena tells her to hurry home for the big wedding. Claire gushes and hugs her grandparents. She refers to the last wedding and then stops. Hope forces a smile and excuses herself to the station as she is not hungry after all. Claire feels like a heel. Abe asks her to walk to the car with him. He now lets her know Theo alluded to conflict between them. He hopes it will work out. Claire is determined to make things right since she really needs Theo now more than ever ... Gabi is with Rafe and hopes this will be her last hellish night at this prison hospital. She laments the life she lost on the outside. Rafe states Eli is sorry and misses her but she cannot get over his lies. Rafe smiles she will be surrounded by those who love her like Ari, Will, Sonny, and big bro. She adds and Chad and Abigail, whom she still feels betrayed by ... Abigail asks about what Stefan did to one of her alters. She also questions why he tried to hide what she had done. Chad warns her to stay away from Stefan and changes the subject. She has belongings to get from the mansion. Chad solemnly offers to drop her off at Jen’s and get the stuff himself. She hugs him and he cries to please reconsider the insanity plea. She explains she cannot lose herself again and loves him. Chad holds her close and promises to do whatever possible ... Tripp plans to celebrate with the new face of Bella. He offers to make a candle light dinner and turn the loft into their own romantic restaurant. Ciara likes the sound of it. He wants to show her what she means to him and they kiss ... At the square Abe makes an iced tea toast. To John, Marlena and everlasting love. John kisses her ... Rafe runs into Hope at the station. She is happy for him and Gabi. He brings up the annulment and agrees to sign it. Hope starts to stop him, Just then Kate comes in, Hope announces she has questions about the shooting cos something is off with her statement to Rafe ... Gabi opens her eyes. Abigail greets her ... Back at DiMera mansion Stefan plays Gabby’s tragic song to him. Chad walks in and sneers play it again Sam. Or not! Stefan eyes him like a serpent poised to strike ... STAY TUNED! |
